I come here most nights after work, and it is phenomenal. Crazy cocktails or beers and shots, they'll take care of you.

This is a cozy little bar with comfy bar stools and great ambience. We met our daughter and her boyfriend there to toast their three year anniversary and the bar tender ( who is also the owner) made us special drinks after we asked him to surprise us! Absolutely awful. The bartender was far too drunk to be working, kept dropping his equipment, and when we asked for two dirty martinis we were essentially just given saltwater with a giant ice cube. We left without paying before getting his name or any photos, but I'm sure others have had similar experiences-- fire that dude. read more

Service is amazing. Good solid industry bar but also has super fancy cocktails that are always on point.

The bartenders should bring up their game. It's unreasonable for a bar smaller than my bedroom to ask to ID me twice because they forgot if they did or not. After we ordered, my friend got her drink but they forgot about mine. read more

total dude bar. if you're a female, I honestly wouldn't even come in here. it's a bunch of younger dorky guys who are not married and hang out here like it's their cheers. they all have their vapes and they give you dirty looks when you come in and try to sit down near them. someone actually had his stuff on the chair next to him but no one was sitting there. they also have lots of wine bottles but no wine list and no prices. when I asked what he had he just gestured to the bottles behind him. it was awkward. I didn't know what to order. also, the bar is very small. it's tight quarters. a bar with about 10 seats and a couple tables along the walls. a few tvs. I don't know why, I just felt awkward in there and I was with my husband. I was the only female in there and they just weren't friendly. if you do decide to come in there and you're female, please watch your drink. we drank our drink and got out of there as fast as we could. One of the best local bars downtown. I've lived in Boise my whole life. Been to bars since I was old enough to drink. This place is a game changer. Super fun atmosphere, very friendly staff, and the smaller size of the establishment makes it a close nit place for friends. Owner comes in alot and is receptive to guests feedback and very polite. My boyfriend and I were passing through looking for bars playing the Copa America Final. And this bar was. The moment we walked in we were getting stares from the bartender/owner and the like 7 people in the bar. We sat in the back and waited our turn to order. Jermey approached and somewhat just stood close to me, didn't even say a word as I uncomfortably showed him my ID (again without him asking or saying a word). I ordered a vodka cran, and a tequila pineapple. 5 minutes later he comes back, right next to me again with only ONE DRINK, and says, "Here's a vodka soda." Now I already felt uncomfortable and this isn't what I ordered, so I didn't want to cause any problems, but my boyfriend spoke up and said calmly, "Oh wait, so sorry but we ordered a..." and proceeded to simply tell him what we originally ordered. He grabbed the drink, as all of his friends around the bar stared at us, and he proceeded to sigh and start to drink the vodka soda. Didn't say a single word just proceeded to stare and smirk at us. After we got our proper drinks, a plastered girl at the bar looked at me (again totally sober as this was our first spot) and said, "you should probably drink those and leave." Implying we were causing a disturbance. And Jeremey moments after we sat down and said to the same girl, "I think it's time we close early." Again implying that us asking for the proper drink was making him want to close early/ not let any newcomers like us in. Strangest experience I've ever had with a bartender or customers at the bar (as they were all well wasted and should not have been getting served, but were Jermey's little buddies). We felt harassed over nicely correcting him to get the drinks we were paying for, and continued to get stared and smirked at while we watched the soccer. Jeremy was obviously drunk, to the point where he couldn't remember two simple drinks. This place is HORRIBLE! SPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more

Owner Jeremy's drink menu is already so wonderful plus he listened to what we desired, then knew how to mix it for us to perfection. The Nook will soon feature food too (fall season 2023). The bartender "Hannah" only caters to her own tribe there and she will be rude to customers if they don't play the type of music (G rated) she finds acceptable to her and the crowed she believes would too. She will cancel all music off the jukebox without consideration of the consumer who paid for it no matter how small or large the crowed is inside the bar. She will cop an attitude, attempt to kick you out and resort to calling the police when the consumer asks for the contact information of the owner. Wanted to really like this place. Walked in with a friend, there were about 5 other people drinking. We sat at the table, which is really close to the bar. We waited for the bartender to acknowledge us, we learned we needed to be three feet closer for this to happen. Apparently that was too far away for him to see us (sarcasm. We ordered 2 beers as 7 people walked in the door. We sat back down as he began to take their orders instead of fulfilling out. They were a bit unruly and asked several drink related questions. After 5 minutes of this, he began making their drinks. We realized since they were a bigger party, they were more important so we left. We told him we were leaving since he was too busy to get our drinks, he said "okay". This is a few blocks from my house and I wanted to dig it. I was bummed. read more

This is one of the best environments I've been in downtown Boise. It's very eclectic. It's is small so it can be a pleasant place to sit and have a beer with your pal. It can also fit enough people to have a great, rowdy party. Enough cannot be said about the staff. Bubbly, respectful, and a great salesperson.
