He also had a wedge salad. I had the brisket. The wedge salad was so good the flavor was really nice and fresh. The food was great and fresh. I was bummed they were out of Elote and Potato salad so we will have to come back. I heard a local say they came in just for the potato salad so now I'm really curious. The sauces were decent I enjoyed missing the spicy with the gold. We are going to try the wings next. If you're looking for a place with good service and decent BBQ check them out!! Great service at the table , with friendly personality. Table was clean, no stickiness and I watched as other patrons felt their table tops, remarking on them being so clean. My dining partner had a plain burger and onion rings, she said they were very good and the rings were really crunchy, in a great way. Hope to be able to enjoy again soon.

The toppings on the burger were the only good thing about it. The Beyond burger had mustard that tasted off and there was no mayo. The bun was hard and dry. I was hoping for homemade fries in a place like this, not shoestring frozen fries that taste like they were purchased from Fry's store brand. The shakes were ok. For the about the same price as Culver's or Red Robin, I was expecting a better quality burger. I guess for Globe it is a high quality burger place. I should not compare it to Phoenix Metro restaurants. The staff were nice and pleasant and we didn't wait long.

Foody joints are sparce in Globe, but there are a few hole in the walls. Drift Inn has been around since the early 1900's, at least the building (I think as a bar.) Couple of pool tables, minimal seating. Clean, but old. Fun. We got there 1/2 hour before they stopped serving food. I had a Ruben w/ Fries and wife a burger w/ Onion rings. Very good. Took a while, but my Ruben was hot off the grill, as was the wife's burger. Fries hot and crispy. Just great bar food. Nothing fancy, but easy going. 3 out of 5 stars for just overall ambience. This is not a place to take little kids, due to some of the painting on close to the ceiling - a certain level of female exposure.

Andrea has has the hangover burger and the midstate burger with cottage cheese and shared in the chips and nachos. She also stole huge bites of my burgers and several of my onion rings! Our choices were Copper Bistro and Nurd Burger Cafe and for no particular reason we decided on Coper Bistro. We were surprised and richly rewarded by their cheese burger, fries and onion rings. I may have made mention in other reviews that a burger patty must protrude beyond the bun in order to attract my attention. This patty protruded well beyond the brioche bun and, better yet, it was hand crafted, not pulled out of a box of 300 other patties that were shaped exactly the same. And the beef was flavorful. We both enjoyed the fries and onion rings. Our meal was so filling we didn't eat dinner that night. Oh, the staff are super friendly, attentive and downright welcoming. If you find yourself in Globe, you could do a lot worse that supping at Copper Bistro.
