The smoothie was absolutely amazing! It was so tasty and felt dense with nutrients. The ginger cocoa I ordered due to sheer curiosity, but I'm glad I did. Somehow the cocoa worked with the ginger flavor, which I could never have expected. The shop also sells other items like sea moss, crystals, herbal remedies, and so forth. The main attraction for me are the smoothies and ginger drinks, but you can find quite a lot of "alternative" or "homeopathic" curios. The ladies who own the juice bar are really nice, friendly, and genuinely happy people. They're always smiling and talking with customers. It's clear they enjoy what they do and their enthusiasm is contagious!

If this was the owner basic customer service would be to tell the customer when you will be open. If you want to be extra you put a sign in the window that says "closed". Some businesses even lock the door. I looked up the hours of operation. One place says they are open until 7pm. Yelp says they are only open Saturday and Sunday and another place says they are open until 5pm. I had an appointment around the corner at 7pm and they were running late so I said I would visit the bush doctor and get a drink and be back in less than 5 minutes. Very hard to believe the positive reviews about good customer service after the experience I had today. Thankfully I have a juicer. And I liked that the shop had crystals and palo santo. Surprisingly, it's never busy there, even though it's located right across from the gym. If you're looking for a smoothie, shake, or bowl, it's a great option. I always go for the bowls, and I've been coming here since around 2021. I highly recommend it--it's one of the best juice spots in Flatlands. I also love the mural on the wall featuring Obama, Biggie, and Maya Angelou. What I appreciate most is that it's Black-owned. The space is colorful, vibrant, and welcoming. Another great thing about this spot is that it's a healthier alternative to most options in the area.
