I went in to the Novus center because my hairline was starting to recede badly. I was tired of putting topical drops on my head twice a day and was looking for a permanent solution. The Novus center offers PRP injections for your hair. I purchased the full package, 4 prp procedures (2 free procedures if you aren't satisfied with results), including pills, topical hair drops, and a red light helmet. They took the plasma from my blood and injected the plasma into the top of my head where hair was thinning. The process was painful but the staff were always friendly. Jada was usually the one working with me, and she was always a joy to speak to. Stephanie would check in with me as well to see how my process was coming along and had a wonderful charisma to her. The gentleman who held the consultation had answered all of my questions thoroughly as well. After the first month I thought things were going well, I used the helmet three times a week, took the pills daily as well as applied drops. But after 3 procedures, I was starting to become skeptical. I had lost more hair than when I started but they said this was normal, the new hair follicles were growing and would take time. I went in for 5 procedures total, but unfortunately my hairline didn't improve as well as I'd hoped. I have had to go back to my original topical hair drop supplier and my hair is starting to grow back again after two months. The PRP procedure may work for you but it unfortunately didn't do much for me. I'm giving three stars for the staff, for they were always friendly and considerate. I visited Novus and received the most exceptional service from Cam, Sofia and Kyra! First, when I contacted Novus initially, Cam spent 45 mins on the phone with me, being incredibly thorough and informative. On the day of my visit, Cam, again provided me with that same level of patience and detail that he'd given me before. Sofia was my provider. She was very friendly and engaging. She had trouble with my veins, something that has happened to me before, so Kyra came to assist her. Kyra was also very nice and welcoming. Unfortunately they couldn't find the veins and instead of poking me continuously, they provided me with the information on ways to help with the process and come back on another visit. I truly respect them for providing this option. I am 40 and have endometriosis and PCOS. PCOS has been a total nightmare and most doctors I have seen tell me "why don't you just lose weight". Let me start by saying that the staff is very friendly and professional. Nothing negative to say about the staff. Jada did first procedure and was very pleasant and professional. Stephanie did my second procedure and again was very friendly and professional. This is my personal experience with one of their procedures. I had a P shot with exosomes and it did absolutely nothing they said it would do. I talked to them about it after waiting the 3 months they said it would take for results to show and it was determined that a second shot might help so, I went ahead and did it. The second procedure did actually less than the first one. In my opinion it was money wasted. If you really want to do the P shots do some research. There are other places that charge way less for the procedure. I can't speak for the other services they offer but in my opinion the P shot is not worth it.
