The wife and I decided to get massages here over the weekend. I did the traditional massage and added in the scalp massage. The waiting room in the front doesn't give you an idea how big this place is but once you head to your table you'll see how large the facility is. The biggest downside to this place is it's all one big open room that's separated by drapes. They have ambient music playing but this setup basically forces you to whisper as you walk to the table and during the massage. Out of respect to others getting their massage I didn't say anything during my session. I also didn't hear anyone else talking. While it's nice to sit in silence, it's just a strange setup in my opinion. As far the massage goes it was wonderful. The beds are clean and the floors even have that fake bearskin rug so you don't touch anything cold. The tables are heated which is a major plus and when you lay down they drape you in a weighted blanket. The whole thing is super cozy. My masseuse was receptive to the strength level I requested and really worked my hamstrings. The scalp oil was nice but I probably wouldn't repeat as it forces you to rush home to shower immediately after. Once we left I started to get promotional deals in my email which is cool. I've been to the spa in different locations over the last four or five years and have thoroughly enjoyed all of it. I look forward to being at the spa and I believe the pricing is worth it, and the ambience & aesthetics are in line with peacefulness, and it helps a lot more than you may think initially. It was quickly answered by friendly and helpful staff. Check in and check out went smoothly. Upon arrival I was immediately welcomed. The cream and neutral tones create a clean aesthetic and calming atmosphere. If you've seen their pictures on social media, it's the same. Like many massage establishments, there are a variety of items for purchase; from jewelry to hemp infused body lotion, massage tools, candles and more. NOW for sure made the most out of the square footage they have. The intake/consult area is small and essentially just the space between the main massage area and the waiting area. I was a little concerned about my voice carrying but it was fine. There is only one restroom but it looked well maintained. The hallway is completed with dim lighting and plenty of draping. The draping serves as the walls between the rooms and in the room I didn't hear any voices. The ocean white noise and the humming (hvac?) added to the relaxation. The room was spacious and the bed was heated and comfortable. My massage therapist Mollie was fantastic. I enjoyed my stretch massage with the gua sha enhancement. She applied my desired amount of pressure and adjusted as needed. I would recommend for others to try a location in their area. read more

Eyvonna was seriously fantastic! It felt like she was intuitive and knew exactly where to go. She was fluid with her touch and I instantly trusted her. Her rhythm and touch were beautiful. When a message is over I usually just hop up. I'm visiting friends this week and my friend offered to make us appointments at his favorite new place. I excitedly agreed. We went in today for an 80 minute massage and we each added the deep tissue option. Let me first say that the atmosphere and vibe get a 10/10. The sound of waves as they walk you into the back area cause instant relaxation. The decor is beautiful and the beds super comfortable. However, my massage was anything but deep tissue and my requested focus areas only seen about for a few short minutes. She also took a bit of time to stretch me. I stretch daily and really just wanted to enjoy my massage. My friend really liked his massage though and I'm sure he will be back. read more

Absolutely the worst spa experience that I've had. The spa has the right atmosphere and environment. The use of technology was helpful to a degree. They ask you publicly how much you would like to tip on their iPad (which I privately complained about) which was so invading. The employees-I didn't vibe with. They lacked basic communication skills. Were not forthcoming. My visit was in August, maybe customer service changed. Not what I was looking for in a spa. I will try a spa in Takoma Park. No frills, no talking, only low whispering because the rooms are very close to one another with big tall thick drapes. The atmosphere is very quiet and calm. The masseuses are wonderful. No shower etc so its not that kind of place. A massage only which I like. read more

Very unique and relaxing experience. Check-in was professional and smooth. Once you enter the area for your massage, it's very dim with a a very relaxing vibe. Everyone hears the sound of waves throughout their massage experience, and you will not hear any voices as everyone whispers. The look of the massage area was very unique. It's exactly what you see in the pictures. I enjoyed my experience and will be back. The only con I can think of is there's only one bathroom. I've had a handful of massages before at other places but this was absolutely the worst one yet (no fault of my masseuse though). If you haven't been there, the massage room is a giant facility with 10 or so massage tables separated by curtains. This means you can hear every.single.sound in the facility -- whispers, coughs, the front desk ladies, and worst of all everyone's tennis shoes sticking to the concrete floor when they walk. I could not relax because of the noise and the light from the front office when the door was opened (I was in the front "room"). Recommendations for consideration: - Either put down rugs or make people wear scrub booties so you can't hear people walking - Explain to newbies how it's laid out so you can get your questions answered before you enter the group massage room - Remind guests to remove jewelry so you don't have to stop during the massage to take it off - Ask the front desk to speak quietly, especially when both doors are open at once - Consider making the entry room and private room a mantrap so both doors can't be open at the same time (emergency door opening would need to be installed) - Place a folded towel over your guests eyes when they flip to their back so they can't see light - Offer a towel to wipe off before you put your clothes back on read more

This is the best massage place I've been to in the past few years!! I've tried several different places in the area and even ventured out to DC but I am so happy to have found the Now. The atmosphere is so relaxing. Despite the rooms being separated by curtains in a large space, the lights are dimmed very low, there is always a relaxing white noise/ocean sound playing, and the curtains themselves are noise cancelling and thick. The beds are always SO comfy and heated! I've had several different therapists and each do have their own styles but they always do their best to tailor to my needs, and are all so accommodating and nice! Highly highly recommend. read more

Great atmosphere and professional staff. I got an 80 minute stretch massage. I was informed all of their massages are Swedish and you can pay additional for deep tissue, which I did. I had Dontay and he was very nice, but I found the massage technique was very light and not deep tissue at all. At check out, the kindly removed the additional charge as I felt the massage was not up to par for deep tissue, which I appreciated. The massage itself was a 1/5 stars, atmosphere is unique and loved the relaxing ocean white noise music playing, which took my rating up slightly. Overall I think it's overpriced for the service and won't be returning. There are better options in the area. read more

Very relaxing atmosphere and had a great massage with Mollie! Really enjoyed the Gua Sha and Herbal heat therapy. Definitely recommend!
