K-Top Korean BBQ in Longview was a really great experience overall. The service stood out right…read moreaway. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and quick to help without being overbearing. They explained things clearly and kept an eye on the table to make sure we had what we needed. The food was just as good as the service. Everything is all you can eat! The meats were fresh, well-marinated, and cooked up perfectly on the grill. Everything came out quickly, and the side dishes on the bar were flavorful and a great addition to the meal. You can tell they care about quality. And the sushi at the bar? SO good. Honestly, I could've just sat there and eaten sushi the whole time and been happy. Drinks were also well made and paired nicely with the food. Overall, it was a very fun and satisfying meal! Lunch is $22.99, Dinner is $33.99, Holiday pricing is $38.99. +$5 if you want to do both Hot Pot and Korean BBQ.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here! Good variety of meats to grill--we particularly enjoyed the pork…read morebelly and beef tongue, and the bulgogi had a great flavor. We also got mushrooms and pineapple to grill. The appetizer bar had so many offerings, it was hard to decide--but since I wanted to leave room for the delicious barbecue, I limited myself to a few gyoza and sesame balls, both of which were quite good. Next to the appetizer bar was a bar with a variety of sauces and other flavorings for people doing hot pot, but on this trip we just did the bbq. The price included both, and our server made it clear we could switch if we wanted to. We each tried one of the specialty cocktails and a couple of regular drinks. I especially liked the Very Berry Mojito. (We walked over from a nearby hotel.) Our server, Kenzie (I'm not sure I spelled that right) was helpful, courteous, and cheerful. All in all a delightful experience and we would be happy to visit again.

Longview is the world capital of chain restaurants, but that's not always a bad thing. I came here…read morewhile in town for a funeral because I knew I could count on a really good fish sandwich ... except corporate decided to remove it from the menu. Oh well. The atmosphere here is quasi-dark, in a Texas Roadhouse/Red Lobster sort of way, and the seating is comfy. Bathrooms are also clean. Service here on my handful of visits has been spectacular. All of that speaks to excellent management at this location. Though I think that pickles should be served cold and from a jar, the other people in my party insisted on the fried version here. They loved them. The fried mozzarella ('crooked fried cheese') was average. While there was nothing wrong with it, there was also nothing spectacular about it. The fish and chips, on the other hand, were pretty damn good -- crispy and hot with a nice thick fillet. If only they could've served it between two slices of toasted bread. Anyway, the fries were also nice and crispy, and the slaw was crunchy, cool and creamy. Someone else in my party ordered the mushroom burger, and they were quite pleased. Honestly, it looked divine. The draft beer menu here consists of major brews with nary an IPA, though there are some macro bottled selections. Still, everything was served quickly and cold. It's rare that I eat at chains, unless I'm on the road and need to swing through a drive-thru. This place, however, does a very good job.
