They pride themselves with offering gluten free options and an awareness of food allergies. This location is located in the Shops of Farmington. There are plenty of parking especially out back by the red barn. The restaurant was large and spacious. There was a huge U-shaped bar. They also have a nice patio area with plenty of seating and a fire pit; this would be great when the weather is nice. My family and I had lunch on Saturday. It was busy but not overwhelming. Our server was busy but super attentive and friendly. I noticed it was very kid-friendly since there were other kids there and they had a kids menu. Their menu was vast menu and I wanted to try so many food items. I started off with a hibiscus margarita; oh my, one of the best I've had, it was a 5/5. We also had the asian calamari; it's fried battered squid, banana peppers, and a side of sweet chili. This was mouthwatering good and it was a 4/5. I had a cesar half salad which was toothsome; the dressing, parmesan, croutons, and salad ratio was perfection. My main entree, I had the prosciutto wrapped cod; that is baked cod, wrapped with prosciutto, served over parmesan risotto and broccoli with lemon butter. The showstopper was the parmesan risotto, I could eat a gallon of that lol. The cod was okay, it needed more flavor but the prosciutto definitely helped with the flavor. Overall the cod fish was 3.5/5. Next time, I want to try their Thai sesame salmon, apricot shrimp risotto, pulled pork Mac and cheese, Bolognese, crab rangoon dip, and firecracker shrimp, to name a few. I was so torn but I chose a bit of a healthier option due to my New Year resolution. I loved that they had the total calories next to the menu items. My family and I look forward to going back soon!

I felt bad for the waitress as she tried hard to make our lunch experience pleasant (although I will say she and the rest of the waitstaff disappeared frequently even though the place was virtually empty), but my mother had something green and gross in her glass of water and then was served a salad with wilted lettuce, and I ordered a burger that took quite a surprisingly long time to make and it came out missing some toppings. It's possible the Italian place across the way is a better place to go, but I wouldn't come here again.

With so many unique flavors and mixes I had to "throw some dice" to decide which and HOW MUCH to order. Of course the young window attendant was very patient and very pleasant to an old dude like me acting like an indecisive kid! Mama Bear, me, and Puppy Bear each enjoyed a double scoop of Orange Cream (me), a double chocolate mint, and a prepared Pup Cup for you know who. The pup cup was frozen stiff, that's good, we were able to bring leftovers home for another treat. Ours, well the rich creamy flavors in our cup slowly disappeared leaving two satisfied bellies.

They had so many flavors to choose from; classics such as chocolate and vanilla to unique flavors such as Guinness, Kaluha, Jamaican rum, and chai. They have quarts of ice cream, ice cream cake, shakes, cones, and cups. They also have their own hot fudge sauce, ice cream sandwiches, and doggy ice cream. Other options include vegan ice cream, iced coffee, and ice cream floats. They also had hot dogs. The service was good and it was lovely sitting outside enjoying our treats. I ordered the snickerdoodle ice cream on a waffle cone and it was huge and delicious. I look forward to trying out their other flavor offerings!

The stand is lovely and was filled with goodies when I went. They even had complementary hot cocoa. You can stop in on the weekends and pick up items and pay via cash or venmo. It's best to go early because items do run out. Check their social media and website for the menu. I pre-ordered a few days before I went. I ordered the original sourdough batard and 6 Valentine's day sourdough cookies. The items were packaged nicely and the goodies tasted delicious. I've never had sourdough cookies but I'm hooked. It's like a regular cookie but thicker. The sourdough was heavy and hearty. I love that it's freshly baked! I love small, local businesses and I'm happy to have tried this out. I will definitely be a regular going forward!

You can pay via Venmo or by leaving cash in a cash box. Their product line includes various loaves of bread, scones, muffins and cookies. We checked out their menu in advance and decided to pick up some Almond Joy and Maple Walnut Scones. Well, that was our plan.... We were there before 11 AM today and all of the scones had sold out. We pivoted to a package of Peppermint Chip cookies, sold in a six pack for $12. We split one cookie for lunch, and when I opened up the packaging, the sweet smell of peppermint and chocolate filled the air. The cookie was pretty thick and was absolutely loaded with chocolate chips. Yeah, it was great. Know what else was great? A big thermos of complimentary hot chocolate by the kiosk. That was pretty nice touch!

They've been around since 2012 and offers a variety of treats; from macarons, cupcakes, bars, pies, truffles, and cookies. There are three locations; Avon, South Windsor, and West Hartford. This one in Avon is super cute and whimsical; love the decor with the picture frames on the wall. There was a table and some chairs to enjoy your treats. I decided to get a few macarons, bars, and a cupcake. All were so good but my favorite were the macarons. They were the perfect texture, lightly crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. The employee was very kind and friendly, and the shop seems smoothly run. The shop seems to be in two plazas, and have designated parking on either side next to the building. Watch carefully for the signs, because the plaza is a little nondescript from the road.

After seeing the menu, I decided to try their chicken katsu instead while my fiancé tried the beef ramen. We also got two medium bubble teas. Both drinks came out first. For mediums, they were pretty small (especially with a $7 price tag). I will say though, my creme brûlée oreo tea was incredible. I absolutely loved the flavor and the oreo in it. Still pricey but at least it was good. My fiancé ramen came out shortly after and we weren't too impressed. The beef broth was a muted color which looked more like miso. He said the noodles were sticky and pretty soft. I waited about 15 minutes until my chicken katsu came out (we were the only ones in there so it wasn't busy) and it looked promising... Good crunch but seems like chicken thighs were used as there was a good amount of fat in it. It quickly became kinda inedible because of how much sauce was covering the whole dish. I'm a sauce girly and love my condiments, but this was just so excessive. I asked for a box to go and maybe my fiancé will finish it later lol. The girl was so sweet and even offered MORE sauce to go, but i quickly declined. Overall, may be back for the teas if it's payday. Would not try the food again.
