Just saw the article about the bear visit. POOR BEAR!!!! He/She/They had to eat cupcakes loaded with bad attitude. This bakery is cute with very limited selection. The atmosphere is so unpleasant it makes shopping uncomfortable. Owner needs an attitude adjustment. One visit was enough for me, there are better options in town.

Delicious bundle of treats. All were soo good but really loved the bar- I can't remember what it is called but almost a molasses carrot consistency but was soo good and able to have at multiple occasions because so rich. Really love the choices and options here. Recommend

My family and I love taste by spellbound. We come here often, but this was the first year we had actually pre-ordered a cake. It was absolutely delicious and obviously came out absolutely beautiful. This is also a cake that they had on their Mother's Day menu a few years back... I promise it's absolutely worth it. The cakes are also very large and can feed a lot of people so if there's only a few if you just be prepared for leftovers :-)

"She held me spellbound in the night Dancing shadows and firelight" (Witchy Woman -The Eagles) Spellbound is a very appropriate word for this bakery, because when you open their door and walk in... yes...you will be spellbound by the sights and smells of their products. Good luck showing buying restraint here! When you walk in, you'll see a big production area on the left where the cakes, mini-desserts, cookie-wiches, macarons, cupcakes, bar bakes, and cookies are created. Many of these products are behind glass in a showcase counter straight ahead, and on the right you'll see a small dining area with tables and chairs. I had intended to pick up a few desserts for New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. So for the two of us, I planned on buying... what... maybe 4 or 5 things? Well, here's where that lack of buying restraint came in. My willpower deficiency led to buying two apple crisp specials, two coffeecake bars, and five bars. At least I have the rest of the year to make up for that lack of willpower. Here is the chronological order in which we sampled our haul. Apple Crisp Cups- Excellent!! Sweet and gooey (was that a caramel glaze swirled around in there?) they were decadently outstanding. Coffee Cake Bars - Better than any coffee cake you ever had. I loved the crumb topping -harder and crunchier and thicker than what I'm used to, it was sweet and full of cinnamon flavor. I loved the contrast between the soft cake and crunchy topping. Peanut Butter Caramel Bars - Crazy delicious! Sweet gooey and lots of peanut flavor. Salted Caramel Bars - Great! Soft and chewy with a nice contrast of sweet and salty. They pack a ton of flavor. Mexican Chocolate Bars -Intense chocolate cinnamon flavor with a nice chocolate fudge glaze and a hint of cayenne. Very yummy

The place is very cute, however, you don't feel welcome at all when you walk in and the staff are not at all pleasant. Very unfortunate because the macarons were fantastic and my kids loved the cupcakes. Customer service goes along way when there are so many other options available. Arethusa a Mano also makes fantastic macarons and the staff are friendly.

Finally got to try the Apple cruffin! Amazing! It had all my favorite parts of a croissant in a muffin form. The Apple was good and there was also a caramel sauce. It's a must get when they have them!

I surprised my sister with this beautiful cake. I ordered the cake on a Monday and it was done by Thursday. Everyone LOVED how it looked. The cake also tasted amazing. It was a chocolate cake with Oreo buttercream. I definitely recommended this dessert shop

I was surprised for my birthday with the peanut butter lovers cake. It was super yummy! Buttercream frosting, peanut butter cups...delicious! I love chocolate and peanut butter. I will definitely think of this bakery for future gatherings.

What an amazing, beautiful birthday cake Taste of Spellbound made for my granddaughter's 1st birthday. I highly recommend the Cookie Monster cake option (we changed the frosting for the outside decoration). Everyone commented on how darn delicious it was!!!

First off, it's definitely one of those small, tucked-away spots you could easily miss if you didn't know it was there, but once you walk in, the decor is so cute. Think cozy, shabby chic vibes that make it feel warm and welcoming right away. The standout for me? The dinner roll. Honestly, one of the best I've ever had. It was dense, rich, and satisfying, not your typical light, airy Kaiser roll. It reminded me more of a Jamaican hard dough bread in texture and weight, which I personally loved. Super flavorful and filling. I was also really happy about their buy three, get one free promotion. It made it easy to try a few different things without feeling like I was overdoing it. As for the pastries, I tried the cinnamon roll and carrot cake. I didn't finish either, but the carrot cake definitely gave true homemade vibes. It had coconut mixed in, wasn't overly sweet, and felt more traditional than indulgent. If you like a less sugary, more classic-style carrot cake, you'll probably appreciate it. Overall, this bakery is worth a stop, especially if you're exploring the pastry trail. Not everything wowed me, but there were definitely some highlights that made it a good visit.

I just chucked it and went across the street to Dom's for an actually well-made cup of coffee. The pistachio flavoring also tasted expired. There was no point in drinking it. It wasn't even foamy. I can make something better at home with my De'Longhi machine. And the pecan caramel bun just tasted like I was eating butter. The place itself is intriguing I guess, but I was just overwhelmed and didn't enjoy sitting there at all. The final touch was that their point-of-sale is on dialup and from a hundred years ago, so it's slow and they have a credit card minimum of $10. I could not in good conscience recommend The Coffee Trade.

Love the atmosphere, pastries and mission of this spot: "inclusive coffee café employing people…read morewith and without intellectual and developmental disabilities and demonstrates the possibilities in all of us." Their mission is imbued in their staff, products, how they set up their space, and how you order. We came here for breakfast on a weekday and had a lovely experience. They have breakfast and lunch cafe menus (+catering), yummy pastries (cookies, muffins and scones) and various coffees and drinks. We enjoyed the omelette (if you order more than 3 ingredients there's a charge) and the village breakfast which was eggs, potatoes (slightly blackened), sourdough toast (or wheat) and bacon. Prices are fairly standard ($11-14) and portions not very large. The panetonne, toasted coconut, and chocolate chip scones ($5 each) were all good and baked well. The honey latte and hot chocolate (most drinks are $4-8) were also very creamy and delicious, though slightly too sweet for our tastes (made it taste good though!) You order at the counter and then take a table and place a marker with nice words like "love" and then your food is brought to you. The actual space is very inviting, with lots of nooks and crannies (tables with chairs, couches, a fireplace). They also sell t-shirts ($30) and sweatshirts ($40-50?) which are pretty soft material, as well as ground coffee, cards, granola, etc. The other half of their space is their homemade pasta place so it's a unique layout and looked fun as well. There were plenty of customers cycling in and out, many sitting down with a warm drink and a pastry. Parking isn't huge but was not super super small but could be an issue if they got an influx of folks hanging out. Wouldn't blame them though because it's a comfortable place with free wifi. Looking forward to returning! Shopping like Whole Foods, walmart, and Shop Rite are all within a few miles.

The natural materials made this place comfortable and relaxing. The menu of teas and protein shakes is the size of the whole wall. I decided to go with the Dirt Cake Lean & Fit Shake. I got mine in a medium size, which was a pretty generous size, and I realized I could have gone with a small. This was pretty chocolatey, but I could tell there was protein powder as the base. Well I knew what I was getting, so I wasn't so let down by the after taste. I will say this was my breakfast and lunch today. It was very filling and decently tasty. What I enjoyed a lot more than the shake it's self, is the space and the environment. It is a great space to be alone or with friends. I enjoyed reading parts of the book The Astrology of You and Me, they had on the little table. And the background music was a great counterpart. Their menu is large with coffee, tea, refreshers, including pastries, breakfast and lunch options. On this trip we got coffees. I got Nova's Nutella Latte, the others got a mocha and Kiwi, Mint & Lemongrass refresher. These were all very pricey, I was a bit taken aback. Each drink was between $9.00 and $10.00. Maybe it's because of the locally sourced milk, I can't think of another reason. My Nutella Latte was very chocholatey and very tasty, but my cup was also filled with ice all the way to the top. The refresher was very sweet, but a unique combo of flavors and pretty refreshing. The mocha was solid.
