110 Grill is a chain that serves modern American cuisine. There are about 40 locations in New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. They pride themselves with offering gluten free options and an awareness of food allergies. This location is located in the Shops of Farmington. There are plenty of parking especially out back by the red barn. The restaurant was large and spacious. There was a huge U-shaped bar. They also have a nice patio area with plenty of seating and a fire pit; this would be great when the weather is nice. My family and I had lunch on Saturday. It was busy but not overwhelming. Our server was busy but super attentive and friendly. I noticed it was very kid-friendly since there were other kids there and they had a kids menu. Their menu was vast menu and I wanted to try so many food items. I started off with a hibiscus margarita; oh my, one of the best I've had, it was a 5/5. We also had the asian calamari; it's fried battered squid, banana peppers, and a side of sweet chili. This was mouthwatering good and it was a 4/5. I had a cesar half salad which was toothsome; the dressing, parmesan, croutons, and salad ratio was perfection. My main entree, I had the prosciutto wrapped cod; that is baked cod, wrapped with prosciutto, served over parmesan risotto and broccoli with lemon butter. The showstopper was the parmesan risotto, I could eat a gallon of that lol. The cod was okay, it needed more flavor but the prosciutto definitely helped with the flavor. Overall the cod fish was 3.5/5. Next time, I want to try their Thai sesame salmon, apricot shrimp risotto, pulled pork Mac and cheese, Bolognese, crab rangoon dip, and firecracker shrimp, to name a few. I was so torn but I chose a bit of a healthier option due to my New Year resolution. I loved that they had the total calories next to the menu items. I've eaten at 110 Grill locations before in NY, but unfortunately, the food's not up to par at this branch. I felt bad for the waitress as she tried hard to make our lunch experience pleasant (although I will say she and the rest of the waitstaff disappeared frequently even though the place was virtually empty), but my mother had something green and gross in her glass of water and then was served a salad with wilted lettuce, and I ordered a burger that took quite a surprisingly long time to make and it came out missing some toppings. It's possible the Italian place across the way is a better place to go, but I wouldn't come here again. read more

We recently ate at the newer Manchester location and because it was so good, we wanted to test consistency across the chain. I would say it's pretty good. My wife and I had the same salads we ordered before, she loves the kale salad and I like the BBQ Chicken salad. The only issue here was minor, they forgot the bbq sauce and the ramekin they gave me I think had a bourbon sauce and not bbq sauce but it was fine. My son had the hot honey chicken on referral from his brother who ate with us in Manchester. It didn't disappoint. Onion straws were fun, but off a bit, maybe a bit undercooked? I will say everything here tastes fresh and they do cater to gluten free so maybe that might keep a fresher kitchen? Anyway, I like when a restaurant seems like a good value! read more

Ordered a $40 NY Strip steak, mashed potatoes and roasted Brussel sprouts. Steak was perfectly pink. It had NO seasoning. It had no taste! Mashed potatoes were more pureed Mashed potatoes. Again NO seasoning. No taste! Brussel sprouts had more taste. However they were more raw than roasted! Very tiring to have to spit out half a chewed Brussel sprout cause it was so raw. A ton of salt made most of this edible. My boyfriend had a burger and fries. He had no complaints. His fries were delicious too. We spent $72 for our meal. We did not get our money's worth. Conclution: This is a glorified Applebee's restaurant. The seating feels like a cafeteria...all Stark and unwelcoming. At least we got a free dessert thanks to their loyalty program. We will not be returning. Once was quite enough. Ps. Another irritation: the entrance door is a plain, unmarked door. Every other door to the restaurant has a sign saying "please use front door". They need to add a sign to the actual entrance. We went clear around the building looking for it. A sign on the actual entrance would have saved us many steps which is important as I have physical challenges due to bilateral total hip replacements. What a disappointment. Terrible service from many employees. Skip it - too many other options that appreciate the business. Walked in for a nice dinner with my grown son. We were told there was a 20 min wait for an outdoor table, so we took a booth indoors. We sat there for ten min and realized no one was coming to the table. Went to the hostess and she said "oh yeah, we just realized no one has your table". Excuse me? I said "well, since we've been waiting anyway, maybe there's a table outside now?" She said sorry - no. We went back to the booth and waited - again. A server came to us and took our drink order. She then returned and said "good news" we could move to a couch with "side tables" outdoors and order our food at the bar. Excuse me? We said. O thanks we'll stay put. Drinks didn't come. We were getting ready to leave. Same server returned "okay, you can sit outside and I'll bring your food out to the area with side tables". We said "no, we want to eat at a table". I looked outside and there were two regular tables free. The hostess frowned and said yes, "they" can have it. Our new server finally brought our drinks outside. She took our order. No water. Silverware sets, one which was dirty. My tuna arrived. Nothing with it and still no clean silverware. At least the food was decent. My son's food arrived. Server asked if there was anything else we needed - he asked for ketchup- it never came. We were offered water - it didn't come until I asked again. My flatbread arrived with a clean knife. Server was obviously annoyed to have been given us at her table. Rest of the food arrived and it was good, but the vibe was awful. I asked for the check. I left a small tip, but it was painful to leave any at all. Something I've NEVER done. We've been there before. The food is pretty decent. The drinks tasty, but I doubt I'll be back. The 110 Grill has really changed the space - the interior has darker wood, lots of space, and a classy bar. Our waitress, Susan, was extremely nice and explained the menu, provided her recommendations, and made sure we knew about the loyalty program. The "Cure" burger was one of the best egg burgers I've had - the whites were perfectly cooked with just enough run in the yolk not to make it a yellow mess. The Garlic mashed potatoes weren't overwhelming garlicky, so you could go about your day. They were creamy and garlicky enough though. This was our first time at 110 grill.. we stopped by for lunch because we had a gift card. Menu has a lot of variety which is nice, and waitstaff was very attentive. Blake kept our drinks full and was personable, and the redeeming part of this review. We got the bang bang cauliflower, grilled cheese, and steak tips. The cauliflower was good, small portion and definitely had a little kick. I ordered the grilled cheese no goat cheese and swap Brussels for the soup. Sandwich came out with goat cheese and broccoli on the side.. and the mashed potatoes had a hair in them. we later heard a chef quit on the spot so I'm thinking this was a kitchen problem more than a server problem. Overall not a great experience.. we still have some gift card left so maybe we'll give it another chance. read more

We were passing through Canton and wanted to grab a bite where there was some outdoor seating because it was a rare sunny, breezy, not humid, not smoky 2023 Connecticut summer day. (It's been a terrible summer.) It was too early for the dinner crowd, and we got a table right away. The service was quick, and our server was a sweetheart. I had the Blue Cheese Wedge salad and a side of roasted Brussels sprouts, and my husband had the fish & chips. While we did enjoy the food, it seemed like each thing needed a little something...more. My salad could've used a little more of the applewood bacon, as it was sparse. And the balsamic reduction could've tripled considering it had the skinniest ribbon of it drizzled over a big chunk of iceberg. For the price of a salad that's mainly iceberg lettuce, I mean... And my roasted Brussels sprouts were fine but nothing out of the ordinary. My husband really liked his fish & chips but thought there should be more. Again, the food was average. It wasn't bad. But it was nothing "extra." Hence the 3 stars for a perfectly adequate slightly upscale chain restaurant with some very interesting offerings. read more

My family and I had a great experience at 110 Grill! We were very impressed with the changes they made to the space and really loved the interior. I love what they have done to the space and it is truly a great addition to the area. Our waitress was relatively attentive - but always friendly - despite a busy weekend dinner rush. One of my family members had an issue with his entree (it was not what he had expected/did not receive all items listed in the menu description), but the manager was quick to help out and get a replacement ordered. We split the calamari and fried pickles as apps - both delicious! My husband had the BBQ pork Mac and cheese (incredible but very heavy) and I had the chicken caprese (which I will order every time!) My son and I ventured to 110 Grill for Christmas Eve lunch. I made reservations but they were probably only six tables filled when we were there. The hostess was very friendly and we sat in a booth by the bar. We ordered the Kung pow shrimp. We are webs so we can't take anything too hot and it had the right amount of sweetness and coolness to it with the slaw that accompanied it. I had the tuna tartare on jasmine rice with avocado and melon. It was OK I felt like it needed seasoning which I added salt. My son had the short rib ravioli and his was the winner winner chicken dinner! It was absolutely so flavorful and the cognac sauce was divine. I had several bites! The service was extremely slow. The gentleman who brought our food even apologize for how long it took for her dishes to come out. It wasn't busy so maybe they're short staffed in the kitchen. We enjoyed our meal. read more

Don't expect to be blown away by the food but you can get a decent dish and some yummy apps to share here. Just had lunch and ventured away from my usual fish and chips (yes they have gf fish and chips) and tired the cure burger. It did. It disappoint! The egg was runny yet didn't make a huge mess, the Demi glace was the perfect amount bc it didn't take away from other flavors. I tried their sugar and spice manhattan and man did that pack a punch! Definitely only had one of those but it was sweet with a little spice, I think it was cayenne. It was a lovely elevated manhattan. The bartender/manager Natasha was kind and on top of her game. Gave me her honest opinion about which Manhattan to try! Got to watch some football and eat some worry free fries and fried pickles. We love coming to 110. Sign up for the loyalty program. Y'all!! I haven't been so excited about a menu in a long time. I stopped here after getting a massage on my self-care day. We are outside on the patio and had two very attentive servers (one was in training). I immediately smiled when i saw they had a full gluten free menu that matched what was on the regular menu. . I opted for the hot honey chicken with sweet potato fries. I wanted more honey and a little more spice but it was pretty good. I also tried the sangria which was refreshing. I tried the 110 Grill in Canton for the first time and I have to say it was a miss. I had the cheeseburger and it was flavorless. I asked for it medium, and they cooked it well-done, and very dry... Overcooked is an understatement, but on the brightside, the fries were great. Moreover, my friend ordered a Greek salad with salmon; unfortunately, the chef working the kitchen was very stingy with the olives and the feta-cheese. A Greek salad with salmon should be loaded with those particular ingredients, and this salad was lacking... sadly. Plus, the salmon was charred a bit too much, but passible. On another note: the waiter was pleasant and accommodating, but the restaurant floors needed to be swept and mopped desperately. It pains me to say this, but I don't think I'll be back. read more

The atmosphere and general vibe is pleasant, warm and friendly. They have a regular and gluten free menu and are extremely accomodating to allergies and food restrictions. Anything we asked them, they said yes w/out hesitation which is rare. The food decent, the portions are sufficient, and the service good, but for what it is, it is overpriced. I had the seared tuna w/ cucumber, melon & substituted spinach for the rice. I needed to ask for a steak knife because of the tendons (not sushi quality) but I was satisfied w/ my meal. My guest got the shrimp scampi. It wasn't bad, but it was lacking garlic & the skin on the cherry were tough. We opted for dessert, a warm brownie w/ peanut butter ice cream & hot fudge. We asked for a second scoop of ice cream to be added & we split it. The dessert was good and wow, we were pleasantly surprised w/ the size of it. Me and my fiancé were finishing up our date day and we decided to go to 110 to get some food, our first impression was alright but when our waitress came up to us we noticed that her breath smelt like alcohol and was slurring her speech, we got our appetizer which was calamari and noticed it wasn't cooked all the way there was a wad of calamari, and in the middle of it was uncooked and very doughy still, after that went back the waitress and the cooks started talking shit about me and my fiancé where we can hear them, and on top of every time a new customer came in they started talking shit about them and complaining, granted it was 6pm and they close 8pm there's no excuse for that. we heard them mess up my entrée and still sent it out (110 signature burger)and the onion stings weren't cooked all the way. and throughout the entire experience, our waitress kept going in the back and drinking out of her mug, which we assumed that there was alcohol in it from her mannerisms, slurred speech and breath. 5/18/25 read more

My husband (gluten free) and I had a terrific Saturday lunch experience here. They have a full gf menu. Almost everything on the regular menu can be made gf with some tweaks and that was reflected on the gf menu. We ordered 4 items off the gf menu so that we could share. We enjoyed lunch at this fairly quiet 110 Grill. I think our server was new because she worked fairly slowly. Our party was large, though, and I wish we had been served by more than one person. I really love the fact that they have a dedicated gluten free menu. The food is good. The service however has been bad every time I've gone. The place has been almost empty but no one is at the front desk to greet, and there seems to be no sense of urgency to seat a guest, or serve a guest. The meal took forever to be served. The drinks that we have gotten there, also took forever to get to the table and were NOT good. The wait staff that we've had have always been polite and apologetic, I feel bad for them. The last thing is the menus that are at the table, the one that I use for drinks, had crayon written all over it, hasn't been cleaned or changed, and the guy that closed the shaded stepped on the seats, and never wiped them down. : ( read more

This is the first time I didn't tip 20% at a restaurant. The food was okay, the steak was amazing but the Mac n cheese was very mediocre. The service was horrible. I sat at the bar and the bartender was super rude. I'm a bartender myself and I asked her to make my espresso martini a certain way Bcus I saw their recipe in the menu and it was a little too sweet for me. Went there for lunch with a friend. Both of us wanted a basic salad with some bread or rolls on the side. Our order was taken for the salad but we were told we could not have bread on the side because it wasn't allowed. I offered to pay for the side but was told they are very sensitive to allergies and "aren't allowed" to serve bread for the table.I mentioned that they had a variety of sandwiches on their menu so what about that bread? It all became too confusing and frankly insulting to the customer that we are not allowed to order an item because of management's sensitivity to allergies. Fine if they state up front that they are a gluten free, allergy free restaurant. Not good for those of us who just want to enjoy our lunch. Eating bread with our salad is not the issue. Went to 110 for the first time for Easter dinner. We're new to the area & Connecticut as a whole, and were excited to try a popular restaurant in the area! I asked our waitress if their calamari was dairy free & was told that although it wasn't, they can make ANYTHING dairy free & accommodate. Initially, I tried ordering the gnocchi bolognese, knowing this isn't traditionally dairy free, but this dish they weren't able to modify. Then I asked about the Cajun salmon, which came dairy free as is. Great! The waitress asked how I'd like my salmon cooked (now, I'm not a food connoisseur, but typically I assume salmon is cooked in its entirety?Unless you're eating it raw). Asked if the mashed potatoes could be modified, could not. Settled on Brussel sprouts and rice. The waitress comes back about 20 minutes later to let me know that normally the Brussel sprouts could be modified and made without butter, but today they couldn't be. Cool. So, they can't really modify anything to accommodate allergies as the waitress and menu suggests. No worries, don't expect them to unless they blatantly say they can. Food comes and was atrocious. So much so that our 3 year old who eat, sleeps, and breathes mac and cheese refused to swallow the one bite he took. My extremely non picky husband also couldn't stand the dish. He ate his cod fine, & finished my salmon so our $100 dinner wouldn't go to waste. Our 4 year old was pleased with his pizza (success!). That night and the following day, my husband and I are down bad and hit with food poisoning. Considering our 3 year old didn't touch his dinner, he was fine. And our 4 year old didn't consume any seafood, so also fine. We assume the culprit was the salmon or the calamari considering I didn't touch my husband's plate. Service was fine.
