Inside of my Maple Drizzle donut

"You can't be everybody's cup of tea Some like the bitter, some the sweet Nobody's everybody's favorite, So you might as well just make it how you please" (Kacey Musgraves) The drink menu at Tea Method will take you a while to sort through, because it sure offers you a lot more than teas. There must be over 50 choices in various "families" of drinks -fresh brewed teas, milk teas, flavored milks, fruit teas, milk slush, fruit slush, and Matcha/Boba specials. You can trick out your drinks with toppings, jellies, or pearls, and just about everything comes in various sizes and "hot or colds" to make your decisions even more of a whirlwind process. Our server Grace was an absolute delight as she went through the menu with us before we decided on a medium cold Green Tea ($3.75) and a Hot Green Tea ($4.25). Now the fun started as we directed our attention to their gorgeous Mochi donuts ($3.75) and had a tough choice deciding on what to try. Seriously, how can you narrow down a choice between Glazed, Pistachio, Strawberry Sprinkle, Maple Drizzle, Cinnamon Churro, Double Chocolate, Blueberry Cheesecake, Fruity Pebbles, Cannoli, and S'More? We went with a Maple Drizzle and a Cannoli, and they were fantastic. They were rice flour based, soft as a feather inside, very light, very delicate with none of the heavy greasiness so often associated with regular yeast or cake donuts. I also loved the fact that my Maple Drizzle wasn't sickly sweet -it had just enough maple flavor and sweetness to make it perfect. Congrats Tea Method on a very successful start as a regular stop for us.

I can't believe I have never been to this place before! Boba tea and mochi donuts are two of my favorite things. It's definitely a hidden gem. It's comes up quick when your looking for it and the parking is behind the building. It's a small but beautiful space. The lady working was so nice and suggested different combos I could mix. They offer wide variety of teas and slushies. They also have a variety of mochi donuts. I can't wait to come back!!!

I had a craving for a doughnut today and found this place on Yelp. The woman behind the counter was extremely helpful. I was planning to get a doughnut, but I saw all the flavors of tea. I decided to do half peach, half mango. I got the chocolate doughnut and the cinnamon churro. The cinnamon churro was the messiest but hit the spot. These are moist, chewy, and very fresh. I will be back; this is a gem.

Tea Method is a new boba tea spot in Simsbury. I was excited and had it bookmarked because I love boba tea and mochi donuts. The space was cute and cozy; there were a couple of tables and tall stools for seats. The people working there were friendly. They have a decent sized parking lot in the back. I love places with parking lots. Aside from boba tea and mochi donuts, they have slushies, fruit teas, and lattes (with a twist). The prices of the mochi donuts was cheaper than the closest mochi donut place I've been to, which is in West Hartford. The prices for the boba tea is also cheaper than the closest boba tea spot I've been to, which is in Avon. Prior to going, I couldn't find online anywhere how much their mochi donuts were; once I was in the shop, there's a menu stating that it is $3.75 for one and $20 for half a dozen. I had the brown sugar boba milk tea and it was pretty good. I purchased two mochi donuts, one was caramel churro and the other was s'mores. Those were very delicious; lightly crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. My husband said that the s'mores mochi donuts was the best he's had. I absolutely love the texture of these donuts. Overall, I'm glad there is one even closer to me now. I wish them much success and can't wait to go back and try more menu items!

Stopped in this new spot and was not disappointed, cute minimalistic setting that is a nice addition to the area. Opted for my go passion fruit green tea with lychee jelly and got a couple of their freshly made mochi donuts! Their fruity pebble donut takes you back to childhood! The server is so friendly and inviting! Love this place.

This place was great. A cute little gem. Perfect for a small treat or a cold drink. They have bubble tea and milk tea. There were so many flavors and they even let me have a sample. I ordered 6 Machi donuts which had such great flavors choices. My favorite was the churro! They are gluten free and AMNAZING! Customer service was on point the owner I believe was the one who helped us and she was so very sweet ! I definitely recommend this place!

These are the magical donuts that are absolutely delicious. These are a must try!

Pulled in at lunchtime on Friday, to this quaint little storefront. These bubble teas were amazing. Delicious, colorful, and appealing to the eye; the bubble teas were made with love. Now, onto the Mochi donuts.... Words cannot describe how delicious these mochi donuts are. I grabbed a half dozen, all different flavors. While I didn't try every one of them, the ones I tried were out of this world, delicious, with a unique kind of sweetness. I'm already craving these again. This is a must try if you are anywhere in the area. If you are not in the area, Tea Method is a destination trip! Service was with a smile, and the place was super clean. There is very limited seating, so I would recommend a grab and go,enjoying the scenery from the surrounding area. I'm not sure if gifts certificates are available, but if so, a gift certificate from here would mean something really special to the recipient. I'm still shaking my head in amazement. The deliciousness is incomparable for this type of genre The building is located two doors south of the police station. (same side) There is ample parking to the rear and on the side of the building. Again, this is the new hotspot in Simsbury that cannot be missed

Excited that a boba place finally opened up in Simsbury! They have brewed green and black tea, fruit slushies (with things like lychee, mango) and special drinks. Boba is 50 cents additional and drinks are $4.95. You can adjust the sugar and ice levels for most drinks. They also make mochi donuts in various flavors. The space is small, with a few counter chairs and one table. Service is friendly...hope this place thrives in town! The place is easy to miss but it's across the street from Starbucks. They also have a parking lot.

Tea Method is brand new to the area. They specialize in bubble tea and mochi donuts. Tea Method is conveniently located across the street from the Pop Over Eatery in Simsbury. I stopped by this afternoon. The space inside is super clean and vibrant. The two young ladies working here, were very friendly and pleasant. They offered me a sample of their vanilla mochi donut. This donut is super soft and fluffy, but it is far too sweet for me. They had a nice variety of other flavors to choose from. They also had a pretty broad menu of bubble teas to choose from. I went with the grapefruit with tapioca pearls, my friend got the peach. They have some high top seating, along with the most beautiful purple Mums. Our drinks were ready pretty quickly. These are very summery drinks, while the days are still pleasant, my summer mode is extending a bit longer. My grapefruit tea was delightfully tart and refreshing. The tapioca was soft and chewy. The peach tea was equally peachy and delicious! I had a very pleasant first experience at Tea Method. I wish them every success, and I'm looking forward to returning soon!

My boyfriend hates tea, we came here and he tried a mango and passion fruit green tea and he instantly fell in love.. not to mention the fluffy mochi donuts that come in amazing flavors but the service there was amazing 10/10 I do recommend!!

MOCHI DONUTS!!!! Ive been looking for a spot with these donuts and they are . The owner is awesome. I am coming back for sure.

MOCHI DONUTS!!! Finally a place close to me that has these donuts and they are delicious. All different flavors and they taste. The owner was very welcoming and recommended drinks to get. Everybody should check this place out.

my best friend and i stopped in here last week because i have an unhealthy obsession with boba and she wanted to try mochi donuts. we are both HUGE fans. the owners are lovely, super helpful and patient. also very enthusiastic about their products. the place is cute, it's small but perfect. just a few seats. i can see a lot of people just taking their tea and donuts to go so tons of seating isn't necessary anyways. loved it!

There were no fewer than 6 people behind the counter and it was not terribly busy. I ordered a toasted bagel with a side of plain cream cheese. It took 12 minutes. But what gets me is how many people who came in after me were getting their food. No, these weren't online orders. Also, you're a bagel place. You slice a bagel, throw it in the toaster. The speed on the conveyor should not be so fast that the bagel gets warm and not toasted. It's not like it got me out of there any faster that's for sure. First off, it's definitely one of those small, tucked-away spots you could easily miss if you didn't know it was there, but once you walk in, the decor is so cute. Think cozy, shabby chic vibes that make it feel warm and welcoming right away. The standout for me? The dinner roll. Honestly, one of the best I've ever had. It was dense, rich, and satisfying, not your typical light, airy Kaiser roll. It reminded me more of a Jamaican hard dough bread in texture and weight, which I personally loved. Super flavorful and filling. I was also really happy about their buy three, get one free promotion. It made it easy to try a few different things without feeling like I was overdoing it. As for the pastries, I tried the cinnamon roll and carrot cake. I didn't finish either, but the carrot cake definitely gave true homemade vibes. It had coconut mixed in, wasn't overly sweet, and felt more traditional than indulgent. If you like a less sugary, more classic-style carrot cake, you'll probably appreciate it. Overall, this bakery is worth a stop, especially if you're exploring the pastry trail. Not everything wowed me, but there were definitely some highlights that made it a good visit.

Love the atmosphere, pastries and mission of this spot: "inclusive coffee café employing people…read morewith and without intellectual and developmental disabilities and demonstrates the possibilities in all of us." Their mission is imbued in their staff, products, how they set up their space, and how you order. We came here for breakfast on a weekday and had a lovely experience. They have breakfast and lunch cafe menus (+catering), yummy pastries (cookies, muffins and scones) and various coffees and drinks. We enjoyed the omelette (if you order more than 3 ingredients there's a charge) and the village breakfast which was eggs, potatoes (slightly blackened), sourdough toast (or wheat) and bacon. Prices are fairly standard ($11-14) and portions not very large. The panetonne, toasted coconut, and chocolate chip scones ($5 each) were all good and baked well. The honey latte and hot chocolate (most drinks are $4-8) were also very creamy and delicious, though slightly too sweet for our tastes (made it taste good though!) You order at the counter and then take a table and place a marker with nice words like "love" and then your food is brought to you. The actual space is very inviting, with lots of nooks and crannies (tables with chairs, couches, a fireplace). They also sell t-shirts ($30) and sweatshirts ($40-50?) which are pretty soft material, as well as ground coffee, cards, granola, etc. The other half of their space is their homemade pasta place so it's a unique layout and looked fun as well. There were plenty of customers cycling in and out, many sitting down with a warm drink and a pastry. Parking isn't huge but was not super super small but could be an issue if they got an influx of folks hanging out. Wouldn't blame them though because it's a comfortable place with free wifi. Looking forward to returning! Shopping like Whole Foods, walmart, and Shop Rite are all within a few miles.
