Absolutely loved my experience at Perks Coffee House! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was…read morewarm and welcoming -- and a huge part of that was our barista Ady. Her personality is infectious, she's friendly, attentive, and genuinely made the whole visit feel special. Give that woman a raise! On the food side -- wow. The Perks Panini was amazing, seriously one of the best I've had. Perfectly pressed, great flavors, no notes. And then there was the 32 oz carrot cake drink... out of this world doesn't even cover it. I don't know how they packed that much flavor into a cup but I was not complaining. I could drink that every single day. This place has great food, great drinks, and even better people. Perks has officially earned a regular customer. Highly recommend!

The only issue I had was the customer service. I came here Saturday the 23rd around 3:00-3:30 PM…read morewith 2 friends. The girl at the counter was on the phone before taking our order. She saw us walk in, and it took about 5 minutes before she acknowledged us and said she'd be with us. We honestly didn't mind waiting at first, but while standing there we could hear her personal conversation on the phone. At first we thought it was work related or maybe she was taking an order, but she was actually giving someone directions on how to post photos on her damn IG .SMH. When she finally took our order, one of my friends asked questions about the drink she wanted, and the employee was pretty short with her answers. My friend ended up getting what seemed like strawberry milk instead of the coffee drink with strawberry foam/syrup she expected, so unfortunately her drink was kind of a mess. Me and my other friend got the Seattle Freeze, and that was actually really good super delicious. We sat down and about 10minutes later she went right back on the phone. Another customer came in a couple with their kid and this time she clearly saw them walk in. The customers stood there waiting and looking at her, but she still didn't acknowledge them. Then she says whoever she was talking to on the phone..." Oh...customers just walked in" when the customers had literally been standing there already watching her. This is unprofessional ..customers were not a priority at all. The wait itself wasn't the issue, it was more the fact that she didn't seem to care.

We stopped by around 11:00-11:30 a.m., thinking the morning rush would be over, but the place was still packed. After trying it, I can definitely see why. They had already sold out of all their pastries, which says a lot about how busy they are, but the coffee was amazing. I ordered the iced maple salt latte with oat milk, and it was so good. My son got the bourbon caramel latte, and he loved his too. The shop itself is small, but there is plenty of seating both inside and outside. What impressed me most was that there were only two employees working, and they handled the crowd incredibly well. They kept things moving, acknowledged customers as they came in and when it was their turn to order, and were still kind and friendly. The café was also very clean and well kept. For there to be only two people working and the crowd they had at 11 o'clock, I'm sure it had probably been busy all morning. Even so, everything was clean and organized. Great coffee, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

Also, I would say this place probably has the best cafe matcha in the High Desert. Compared to everywhere else, the matcha flavor is strong and smooth, but it does taste homemade. The taro latte could use a lot of work. It tastes like melted vanilla ice cream. It can take a minute to get your drinks and order, but I think it's totally worth it to support the local businesses.

We grabbed the Route 66 Supreme Platter ($21.50) and it was unreal. a massive spread of grilled glazed ham, tri tip, kielbasa, eggs, potatoes, and a killer biscuit with gravy. The corned beef hash came from a can but that is a good thing. (I never had much luck taste wise with the homemade kind.) The breakfast meal met with expectations; it was tasty and hearty. The single pancake was plenty. It was thick and tall. I also ordered a cup of oatmeal which came with all the fixings like milk, butter, brown sugar, raisins, and granola. The oatmeal portion was large for a "cup." The bowl size portion, even larger, of course, would be good by itself for breakfast. The oatmeal was nicely textured, smooth, and creamy. Service was exemplary and friendly. The dining room is comfortable. This place will definitely go on rotation as a breakfast choice. Parking is plentiful in their lot.
