The cigar lounge is always nice. I definitely recommend avoiding purchasing steaks here. I spent $45 on an unevenly cooked ribeye steak that was about a half inch thick. Additionally, the "premium side" which was a baked potato at an additional charge was burnt, oily and the potatoe skin was rubbery. I'm not saying don't come here because I do love the vibes here. The desserts here are good and they have other great dishes; however, they have absolutely never cooked a good steak for me during my visits. Santi has a sense of humor; checked in on us numerous times; checked on & filled drinks, brought to-go containers appropriate for our food & just a wonderful bright spot to my day. Cant say enuf. Who would pay $21 for a chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes when the menu says $17? I was the fool who did because no body bothered to explain that mashed potatoes were an extra $5 as they were not a routine side. My assumption was that with chicken fried chicken that mashed potatoes was the side. The way the menu reads is says that the chicken fried chicken comes with 1 side. Now I have time to write a review. BAD_EXPERIENCE_ZERO_STARS! We had been going there for several years to date. Usually we would get carry out. A couple of years ago the service was about average but at least half the time our order would be WRONG! They would forget at least TWO items sometimes THREE or FOUR items. We got tired of getting all of the way home and find it was missing several items.We started to check our order every time so if it was incorrect we get it fixed before leaving the restaurant. On this occasion the girl came out with our order and it was all stapled up ready to go out the door. I told her that the staples need to be removed so that we could check the order. She just stood there staring at me like why would I need the staples removed. I told her we need them removed so that we can check the order. I told her I was not trying to be rude we just need to check our order. She said that was rude of us. The other girl standing behind the register said yes it was rude. It seems a simple task like that is very bad for anybody to request it be done with the girl who brought out our order. Then while she was removing the staples she stated in a slightly raised voice it is going to be the end of the world if we leave the staples on the bags. I told her that was rude. She said I started it. LET ME SAY THAT IT IS IN (((NO_WAY_))) RUDE TO SAY THE STAPLES NEED TO REMOVED SO WE CAN CHECK THE ORDER. ESPECIALLY SINCE THE ORDERS HAS BEEN WRONG ((((HALF))) OF THE TIME. I MAY GET ACCUSED OF BEING ABOUT 35 I AM ACTUALLY 65. AT 35 I HAD ALL OF MY TEETH AND 20_20 VISION. NOW AT 65 I AM MISSING THREE TEETH AND MY EYE SIGHT IS GETTING BAD ENOUGH I CAN NOT SEE THE STAPLES CLEARLY AND I COULD DROP THEM IN THE FOOD OR ON THE FLOOR OR CUT MY HANDS WITH THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE SOOOO SMALL. I did call the manager and she acceptrd the blame and she seemed to want to fix the issue. I told her flat out we will never attend their place again. I also told her several times just wait until you see your reviews. She raised voice towards me and I raised my voice towards me. I got tired of the arguing so I simply hung up. I would rather get take out in Ft.Collins and drive back to Cheyenne instead of being treated this way in Cheyenne. BTW, tell the girl who had the issue to remove 12 staplers from our bag. Next time she gets mad at a customer she should try slamming the cash door a little bit harder so the people in the restaurant can hear it and not just some of the people in the bar area. The office bar and Grill used to offer delicious food at a reasonable value for what you would pay. However, over the last few years, it is very apparent that money is the only deciding factor to determine value for this restaurant. Even a simple side salad, which is four dollars and a few cents has an up charge for every single salad dressing that is a minimum of an additional $1.30 a piece. This is not an unusually large or special salad. This is the type of salad you get for free at most places. If you order the fish and chips, every single alternative side is almost an additional 4 to 8 dollars difference. It does not cost $1.40 or more to add regular ranch dressing on a side salad, and that is one of the least egregious things on the menu with up charges. When you place an order, please look at the menu and every single option that has additional cost added. Not only is this not transparent. It also discourage me from wanting to order from them at all. This restaurant also routinely leaves out key parts of meals that are ordered such as the french fries that are half of the order of "fish and chips." I expect when I order fish and chips for it to actually be more than just two lumps of fish in an empty box. This has happened on many occasions. Also, the photos are misleading. They've changed portion sizes without updating their menu online. This restaurant chronically suffers a problem of overestimating the value cost and expectations from a town like Cheyenne. These prices would closer match what you would expect to pay in larger cities. It's not just an issue of the price but the portions, which have substantially decreased over the years. I am not complaining to be cheap and I understand the value of food and labor. The office also suffers from a few associates that have no business being on a customer serving side in business. One of them, which proceeded to hide behind me and try to surprise me, a complete stranger has the table side manner of a standup comedian that was rejected from a previous job as a Reddit moderator. They also told me my video game interest were trash after injecting themselves into a conversation they weren't part of and pretty much holding us socially hostage so we weren't impolite, and joked that they should charge me for me asking to be able to charge my phone in the electrical socket next to the table. They also made the joke about messing with my drink. Plainly put, this is freakshow behavior. The office bar and Grill was once a place I enjoyed going to and bringing people from out of town, not only for the fair valued meals, but good quality food and great service. However, I can no longer recommend for any of the above variables and I feel that the office needs a reality check. I am not going to be paying more for worse service and value food and this isn't a five-star restaurant that I would expect to pay such prices for what I've been receiving. I used to give this place 5 stars, but they often can't get your order right, seemingly charge 40% more than they used to and employ some people I genuinely do not feel safe having my method of payment which has my name on it, yet alone trusting them with an iced tea. read more

Food: husband got my side of fries on his plate. I got the surf &turf special. Shrimp scampi was good but my sirloin was ordered Med. Rare and came rare. Toughest piece of meat ever. We had a graduation party here on May 30th. Brittany and Leroy were nothing short of amazing!!!! They made sure we had everything we needed, the food was amazing and the service was top notch! I would highly recommend having an event here or even just stopping in for lunch or dinner. You won't regret it! The food items we had at our reception were pulled pork sliders, pretzel bites, mac and cheese bites, spinach artichoke dip, and fried pickles. All were fresh and delicious. The Office is one of those local bar & grills that you'll either feel comfortable in or uncomfortable. No in between. The dining area is separated from the bar area in a strange way so that you really feel disconnected when sitting at a table. It's a "vibe" thing that might not be a big deal for some, but going there for dinner with my mother and wife, it was just weird trying to enjoy dinner when there was so much hootin' and hollerin' coming from the bar area just a few feet away. All that aside, the food was OK but nothing memorable. Fish & chips were the best part of the dinner, but nothing else was memorable. Even the chips & salsa were only supermarket grade in taste and quality. We'll go back sometime in the future, without my mom, and try an evening seated at the bar to see if there's a difference. But for now, 3 stars is more than fair to acknowledge The Office isn't bad but isn't great, either. read more

The food is great and the staff is great, but they give different info about reservations. Online they have a live waitlist but it's inaccurate and they don't update it, it says they do reservations of 10 or more but if you call they say 8 or more. Even if you eat there regularly and are literally on the way, less than 10 minutes they will not hold you a table. They also have this dumb ledge thing in the bar area that is not a table but you can definitely be sat there. Anyways, I wish they'd let you join the waitlist if you call on your way, but the food is very good. read more

I've been here numerous times so I feel my opinion on this restaurant does have some weight. I would give this place a solid 4.5. Close to a 5 star rating. With a few tweaks I believe they could be elevated to a 5 star in my opinion. The food has always been good on my visits. I like the vibe here so the atmosphere is pretty comfortable. Great place for adults to hangout with friends or for a date as well as a place you can take kids as well. I believe their areas of improvement directly involve customer service . I think their servers need to be a bit more attentive because a few times I had order mess ups with my party and I. Also, I know being a server can be stressful at times but i feel servers need to do their best to maintain professionalism. I'm aware of my surroundings at restaurants so with that said on my last visit I noticed a customer try to give a very nice compliment to a server and the server rudely ignored the customer with a nasty look. It just wasn't a good look. So the customer service could definitely use some improvement. However, overall this is a serviceable and adequate restaurant with great food. This restaurant is definitely worth a thought when searching for a place to dine in Cheyenne. read more

First off, what a great name for a bar and grill. We just went to the office for a couple of drinks and some snacks. The service was great and super friendly. The food was good. I had one of their cauliflower pizzas and it was good. It was big enough for one. It does tend to get loud in the dining area, but I do expect that in the office. We have been here before and the service is always top notch. First time here there was a little confusion on who are server was. The appetizer I got was the Nachos and hands down was the beat nachos in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Filled with toppings and plenty of cheese i was extremely pleased with it. The 307 burger I ordered was less appealing. Tasted very mediocre and would not order it again. The sweet potato fries that came with my burger were absolutely delicious tho and they did everything right with them. Cant wait to come back and try something new. Visiting my mom this week and she suggested The Office for Dinner. It's a nice, clean establishment with a nice bar area. We didn't have a wait and we had a great server. Now to the food. I really wanted the Ahi Tuna app, and I'm glad I got it. It was very good and plenty of it. The sauce was tasty too. It was a bit steep in price ($13) but worth it. For dinner I ordered that Blue cheese burger with mushrooms and onions on it (can't remember what it's called) but I'm pretty sure it's the best burger I've ever had in Cheyenne over the last 40 years. The fries were ho-hum but the burger was fantastic. Again a little steep for a burger and fries ($13) but at least it was tasty. From my experience, The Office is worth a shot as Cheyenne is a tough place to find a good dinner sometimes.
