    Chicken salad

Chicken in the salad was kind of rubbery. Great option to get your greens in on the road but overall wouldn't recommend.

I took my niece and nephews out to dinner for a treat. They wanted to go to Uncle Charlies. I ordered the steak sandwich. It was a sirloin steak and was tough as that cut usually is. It was cooked to my liking but wasn't very flavorful. The meal was just average. Nothing stood out. One of my nephews did order the fried pickles which I grabbed a couple as I happen to like them. Those were good. I doubt I will visit again when I am back in town.

This place is extremely underrated on Yelp. It's 99% locals, as it's off the beaten bar path. They have a large menu of food including a killer crab cheese dip, a great Reuben, and yummy burgers. During happy hour they have some sort of free treat. One night we had chili cheese nachos, another we had taquitos and salsa. We had a waitress named Brandi who was phenomenal- so nice and friendly and attentive! Drinks are really cheap and stiff! Good selection of alcohol. Tons of seating. TV's everywhere and they are happy to put on whatever game you're interested in watching. If you're looking for a quiet place to have some drinks, a burger, and watch a game, this is THE place for you in Cheyenne.

I dont see the appeal of this place. None of the food i had was good the place seemed run down and mediocre service. The burgers tasted low grade with little flavor and terrible ingredients. The chili on my burger tasted if it came from a can and was the worst part of the meal. The fried pickles were mediocre at best. The batter they use could be better. Overall i Cant believe this place has been around this long with the bad food.

Ordered the burger with chili cheese, got two open faced burgers covered with sloppy Joe sauce and beans that had soaked into the bread.

Went for a local experience. Not bad. Tuesday is 69 cent shrimp day. Fried and good cocktail sauce.

The way she was treated will come up further in my review. As a U.S. Attorney, I've traveled domestically and abroad for nearly 2 decades and been to countless countries and to 4 continents. Saying that, settling into a hotel's small dive bar is usually what helps relax my nerves from the week's work. On 17 May, I stopped in to see a band that I heard about through some mutual acquaintances. I couldn't have been more disappointed with the atmosphere that evening. I spoke to a couple of gals who were there and couldn't have felt more uncomfortable with that interaction. As I moved back to sit at the bar, the ambience was so pleasant with the bartender "Peaches". She was very busy, as I had stated, but she was a cozy welcome that I had come to expect from visiting Cheyenne in the past. As I was there, the locals embraced my presence and was made to feel like one of their own. About 5-6 songs into the band's set, the gals that I spoke with earlier approached the bartender at the rear of the bar. The older lady was very rude to her. That poor girls enthusiasm drained from her face. A couple patrons and myself later determined that the rude gal was the owner and her shadow was some sort of management. For the next several songs, I noticed the atmosphere change from a first person perspective as patrons became rude, demanding and refusing to pay for their drinks, siting the owners tab would cover it. What an embarrassment for a business that had a small crowd that fed off the owners poor attitude. This is unlike anything I've expected in Cheyenne or anywhere else in the world. I'd hope that was an isolated incident. As the next 15-20 minutes passed, several patrons left as a result of the tensions in the atmosphere. Several of us that decided to leave stopped to talk to several folks out on the patio who hadn't experienced the tensions inside. Amongst those folks outside, there were a couple bikers, veterans, a group of ladies that were all laughing it up at one of the bikers hilarious jokes. I asked where another place was that I could go that was casual, welcoming and had a great bartender. Collectively it was decided that we all would go to a place just south of the Wigwam several blocks, tucked behind a couple other bars, this atmosphere was very different and a breath of fresh air. The owner happened to be there and I mentioned Peaches to her. She was very nice! The Wigwam just seemed like some band groupies who were there to hobnob with the owner. The fact that their attitudes were what changed my opinion of the Wigwam was not of anything I'd say was bad. I found a new home away from home at I**'* surrounded by a multitude of lifestyles and experiences. In closing, I'd like to thank Peaches for her hospitality! Stay sweet!

They have a huge mix of different beer types from breweries ranging from Colorado to Montana. Bartenders are great and will def let you try stuff first. Food was delicious. Staff was kind and relaxed, just good people good at their jobs. I had pretty high…read moreexpectations because I'd heard a lot of good things, and while there were some standout items, one issue kept this from being an easy five star experience. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with truffle fries as an extra side, and my wife had the birria tacos. We also ordered a strawberry boba horchata for me and a Kombucha Mule for her. The biggest issue was the amount of sauce. If you order anything with sauce, I'd recommend asking for it light. My buffalo chicken sandwich was absolutely drenched in buffalo sauce. By the time it reached the table, the inside of the bun was completely soaked, and every bite was overwhelmed by the strong vinegar flavor of the buffalo sauce. I even scraped a large amount of sauce off my plate, and I couldn't finish the sandwich because it became too much. The truffle fries had a similar issue. The fries themselves were excellent, but there was so much sauce that it eventually overpowered the dish. That said, there were plenty of positives. My wife thought the birria tacos were good, especially the crispy texture. I thought they were good too, although I personally would have liked a little more flavor in the meat. The regular fries that came with my sandwich were outstanding. They were golden, crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and honestly one of my favorite parts of the meal. The biggest surprise of the night was the strawberry boba horchata. It was absolutely incredible and easily one of the best drinks I've ever had. The combination of horchata and boba was something I'd never seen before, and the sweetness was perfectly balanced. I will come back just for that drink. My wife's Kombucha Mule was also really good. Looking back, I probably should have mentioned the sauce issue to our server because I'm sure they would have made it right. I don't think the food itself was the problem. It just felt like the sauces were a little overdone that day. I'd definitely be willing to come back and try other menu items because the quality was there, and with a lighter hand on the sauce, I could easily see this being a strong 4.5 or even 5 star experience.
