Kevin Anderson is a color God! I've been coming to him for about a year now and I absolutely love my hair. When I first walked in, my hair was box colored black. I wanted to be blond again. The first appointment, he worked on me for 3 1/2 hours to get the black out, God bless him. Every time I came in, he got me a little lighter and a little lighter till finally I'm back to blond. He has done a great job with my hair and I even 'let him' cut my long ass hair to shoulder length and even going shorter next time I go in. Kevin is the owner and he is young and hip. She really did a great job and is so flexible with her time that she worked me in for a quick neck trim a month later. Kevin at the Office is amazing with cut & color. After trying several barber shops/salons around town, I have found my home. I have short hair, so typically for a cut I would go see a barber, but with Kevin he actually shapes and styles my hair unlike anyone else has. I always get compliments. I have only had my hair done by Sherri, and she is awesome! Over the last two years, I have gone from almost waist length hair to a pixie cut and all the cuts in-between have looked great. This place was great. I was recommended to use a stylist here by a friend. She happened to be leaving on vacation but they still got me in next day with another one. He was amazing, made me comfortable with the big change I was going to have. Had 15 inches cut off and it turned out great. I get compliments on it all the time. I was referred to Kevin by a friend after having a few coloring disasters by multiple hair stylists. I came to him with a spectrum of wrong colors going through my hair and he was able to make me look amazing. It is never brassy and it always still feels healthy afterwards, not dry and damaged like other times I have had it overprocessed. It is a little of a drive for me but I would follow him anywhere!! I moved to Scottsdale in 2010. The most important service to find was a good cosmetologist. I tried an expensive salon in old town and didn't have a good experience. The best thing that happened for me since moving here was meeting Kevin Anderson through a mutual friend/client of his. He is truly a great hair stylist and a genuine, wonderful person. So patient (I have a ton of hair), such an awesome communicator (always makes sure I'm getting exactly what I want) and will work to get your hair the way you want it, not the way she wants it. I've been going to Jaime for almost a year and a half now and I've never been happier with my hair. She saved my platinum blonde mess and made it look far more natural than it ever had before. When I decided I wanted to change it up and go ombre, she took the challenge on and now I'm rocking an awesome style that gets complimented almost every day. I am not a typical female-- going to the salon for me is torture rather than pleasure. I just don't like to sit idle and am a busy body. Recently, late one afternoon, I decided it was time for a haircut. I jumped on YELP and typed in best salons in Phoenix" Keep in mind I had no appointment and was calling around with the expectation of getting in within the hour. I really lucked out because I found Matthew at "The Office" He was just about to leave for the day when I called. Not only did he stay late for my haircut, but after I got there and we started talking, he suggested color which although I knew I needed I had not dared to expect both cut and color at 5pm without an appointment! Matthew is as sweet as they come. We chatted and I felt extremely comfortable with him. The end result of my color and cut could not have been any closer to exactly what I wanted. I was really looking forward to my appointment based on the reviews. I left work early for a 3:30 appointment....which they apparently never put in the schedule. I had scheduled with the stylist herself...so no miscommunication between stylist and scheduler was to blame. So now I have to take off work early again on another day to go to another appointment....with another salon. I'm disappointed they couldn't get the basics right. read more

The atmosphere is inviting, the location convenient, and the stylists are consistently professional and kind. I never ever leave reviews any where but this place is AWESOME! I have tried so many places from high end Scottsdale hair salons to a hole in the the wall places. But this place is the best! So I went in with a bad bang job (first time ever getting bangs) the first salon I went to didn't quiet do a good job to say the least and as I looked for places to get it fixed I came upon this place! Kevin cut my bangs soo well and he seemed so attentive! It was such a shock to see me with a new do but everyone's loved them so far! And he gave me such great tips along the way too, from styling, face shape and skin tone. This guy knows his stuff better then anyone else I meet! And to top it all off I wasn't charged a dime, sure it was just my bangs that he cut but still he wasn't the one that messed them up in the first place. I was NOT expecting that. They all seem so kind. He wouldn't even accept me tipping, I wish I had cash that would have made it easier but I felt so bad that I just had to order them lunch the next day!
