This is where the best orange juice comes out of

This is Livie D. talking: The food was okay, but the Orange Juice was the best! The bathroom clean, but small. Overall I recommend this restaurant!

Delicious comfort food on a cold, rainy day in Pullman. It was my first time visiting and the waitress was kind enough to give me a free order of the abelskivers (which were addictive, especially dipped in maple syrup). The restaurant was clean and had a cozy, relaxed environment. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Pullman!

The food here is fine. It's breakfast food you know? Their bread tastes quite fresh so there's that. I guess, given how much people hype this place up and the price of every menu item, I was expecting a bit more. The restaurant vibe is very cute and homey. I definitely see this being a good spot to take your parents when they come visit. Staff is polite and helpful. If you come in on the weekends be prepared to wait a good bit.

The food was okay. I think it's overpriced for what you get. And don't get the orange juice unless you want to pay ALOT for it

Came here with high expectations. Not much option (read none) for vegetarians. The decoration and setting of the restaurant is cute.

I absolutely loved JackJack's Diner. If someone were to give me a T-shirt that says I JackJack's…read moreDiner, I would wear it proudly. The ambiance inside is so nostalgic, and the food is amazing. Update and rating adjustment…read more Friends from out of town wanted to eat here after seeing it. So I thought I would give it another try. Perhaps, I thought, they would do better. The bar was pretty low, after all. After sitting there a while, a young man came by and asked about what drinks we wanted. Five minutes later someone else came by and asked basically all the same things. Problems with the first one? This time I at least got my request in (never was asked the first time). Right after this, someone at the table asked for menus since we hadn't seen any yet. 15 minutes later someone came by with our drinks and asked for our order. Progress. A long wait later (26 minutes actually) the food started coming out. From walking in, to getting food was about 50 minutes. Credit given for the order all being correct. Ah, the food. I can only comment on what I and my wife got. She ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich, gluten free. What an abomination. The bread was about 2 inches wide. And tough? It was so tough it was inedible. I tried some of the meat. I am at a loss to describe it. It seemed like it was pieces of cubed steak. And flavor? I personally do not like green peppers at all. But this sandwich's flavor wouldn't have been that objectionable as I could barely detect the green peppers. The whole thing was pretty flavorless. I ordered the Swiss mushroom burger. Can't go wrong with a simple burger. So I thought. Again, flavor issues. The bigger problem was the burger. Crunchy on the edges and definitely well-done throughout. No hint of pink. Or of any moisture. I couldn't finish it. Which was a first for me. And then the bill. My wife said that before she saw it she was going to tell me to leave no tip because of the quality of the food and the minimal service we received. But the bill had 18% "gratuity included". That was news to me. I had not noticed this mentioned anywhere. I thought about discussing it but at this point I just wanted to be done with the whole thing and leave. But the most insulting part of the bill was the line for "Additional Tip". What? No chance in hell. I would like the other tip back, please, not give more. So, because of all this, I have changed my rating. It was a 2, but now I am downgrading it to a 1. And I have learned my lesson. Nobody is going to talk me into going here again.

Lots of bacon lardons to give more depth to the pasta. Very tasty. The lamb is delicious, though the crust was a little salty for my taste. Ask for it to be medium rare + so you get the nice cool red. There are 6 lambchops served with a couscous salad and tzakiti. If you like lamb, get this. The roasted chicken is amazing. So so so good. Perfectly done with a side of kale and nice size croutons, crunchy and buttery. Ordered the dip appetizer and the pita is soft as a vessel to try 3 different dips - one is garlicky with breadcrumbs (it's more addicting than you think), feta with a roasted pepper and tzakiti. All tasty! Didn't leave room for dessert. Next time!

Black Cypress is known as the nicest restaurant in town so many people come here for celebration…read moremeals, but I typically stop by for their Monday happy hour (half price appetizers 5-7pm) and the goat cheese panna cotta. My favorite item on their appetizer menu is the cheese plate. I don't like crackers so I've started ordering it with some extra apple slices instead of the crackers. The goat cheese panna cotta itself is delicious but the best part is that the seasonal sides are amazing and change very frequently. It's a positive example of a dish never being exactly the same. I've always had great service at the bar. The only complaint I've heard was from a grad student we know who ordered multiple items and didn't realize they forgot his entree until everyone at the table was almost done eating. Thankfully the group had plenty to talk about so they didn't mind it being a long dinner. Finally... the drinks. The only regret I've had was ordering a beer when they have such a fantastic cocktail menu. I am a fan of their non alcoholic cocktails currently but I do enjoy occasionally ordering from the main menu.

However, just less than a week ago, my girlfriend and I decided to give them a chance on MLK Day on our way out of town. We were immediately seated, and our server, Farrah, was very gracious and attentive. My GF got the Super Bird sandwich and I got the chicken-fried steak and eggs breakfast with hash browns. My GF was super happy with her meal, while mine was nearly perfect. My only issue was that the chicken-fried steak was a bit underwhelming. It needed more flavor. The eggs, hash browns, and toast were all perfect. The portion sizes were great, the coffee was good, the booth was clean, and Farrah did a great job checking on us and keeping us happy. Denny's is back! I will definitely recommend it to folks that were turned off in the past.

First I ordered the *KRAFT* Mac and Cheese, what came in my order was not Kraft Mac and cheese, but rather a minuscule amount as well as the Mac and Cheese being solid chunks that were inedible. I also got sausage as well, when I took the first bite, thinking it was the only edible part of my meal, the sausage was PINK. Full on pink and undercooked. I spent way too much money to get food that could not even eat. Safe to say if I'm getting a late night hunger I will not be going to the Moscow Dennys, matter of fact I will never go here again. It is embarrassing and distasteful that the Dennys thinks this is acceptable. Now when I have gone in here before the place was clean as well as having nice service, but I guess they are going downhill.

Started with the baked brie appetizer, which was lovely. I ordered the pork chop, which was massive, cooked perfectly (medium as it's ok to have a little pink in porkchops now) and accompaniments were flavorful. Both ordered pastas and it looked so tempting and delicious. Service is friendly. We couldnt decide on dessert so ordered the ice cream cake and apple cake/pie dessert and split. The ice cream cake is one of the best I've had. Layer of mint chocolate chip and chocolate chip, surrounded by a chocolate cookie crumble and cookie sprinkles on top. SO, SO, SO Good. The apple dessert was equally delicious and gave off Xmas / Holiday vibes. They do have espresso, though it seemed like it's not used much as the person had to check if we could order decaf cappuccinos. Those were alright and in the future, I may go without coffee or a decaf black instead. No tipping, which is the first time I've been a restaurant with this policy. It was pleasantly surprising and nice (on the bank account!)
