So I was shopping in the nearby Walmart, which is the ONLY place I have been able to find CO postcards. Before I left the parking lot, I decided to do a "brewery near me" search. Imagine my surprise when something hitherto unknown to me popped up, Collision Brewing Company. Wow, gotta go. Great place with unique offerings, I particularly liked the "Oil Skick", a black IPA. First time here and the family enjoyed it! Service was great! Loved the atmosphere too! Food was great. Just one issue with one item. My wife ordered the special which was a martini, Salad and the Parmesan fries. Fries were actually good but after a few minutes, there was so much oil on the bottom, they weren't edible. We told our server and she was apologetic and took it off the ticket! For dessert, we shared their peanut butter cookie skillet and gotta say it was decadent!! After a day of swimming in the St. Vrain, we had food on the brain. We weren't looking for a brewery, but for a menu that would work for each person in the group. Collision's offerings looked promising. Dining near the bar was full, so we got a whole room with windows aplenty to ourselves. Our waiter modeled good service. He greeted us quickly, brought waters before I could pick a beer, and quickly returned with my suds and took our order. We strolled down a hallway to the restrooms, passing games in the cool blue light. The bathroom was clean. Urinals are half kegs. I cracked up, then explained them to him. The expansive menu looks surprisingly diverse. I could have had pierogies, birria tacos, chicken fettuccine, PB & J, or one of the selections of burgers and sandwiches. I chose the French Dip on Asiago bread with a cup of green Chile. I could only eat half a sandwich, but knew leftovers would be gone by morning. This was one of the better French Dips I have had in a while. Green Chile? I came here from New Mexico and am not often impressed. This stuff was truly hot and had great flavor. Win win. The kids' steak plate has to be one of the best values I have seen eating out in Colorado. $10.95 w side. It stood out and did not disappoint. One of them was more well-done than medium rare, but stayed tender. Great seasoning. Beer: I l checked ratings, finding their highest-rated brew, GTA, a barrel-aged rye stout that definitely exceeded expectations. I agree with the high ratings. Shout out to our server for letting an adult who wasn't very hungry grab a kids' steak. Shout out to the prices, which would provide value even with lesser food. My sandwich came at a 2019-20 Denver price, at least $5 less than equally good comps in 2025. 4.5 stars round up to five. Recommended. read more

Great food, wonderful views and friendly service! I've never had a bad meal at Collision. Their food is consistently delicious. I have had everything from their fish n'chips, orange maple bourbon salmon to their variety of yummy burgers. They also make some great cocktails. I'm not a beer drinker, but with this being a brewery there is a vast selection of beer to choose from. They have a large outdoor patio with breathtaking views of the mountains. I love taking out of town guests to this restaurant, so they can enjoy the food and the view. It really shows off the beauty of Colorado. Dogs are allowed on the patio. Our dog has even been treated to a doggie snack when we were there (not sure if this is always available). They do not take reservations, but you can give them a call before you head out and ask to be put on a waiting list. There is plenty of free parking next to the restaurant. read more

Muffler Bearing - French farmhouse. Delightfully funky with the traditional farmhouse "must". A nice fruity finish makes it very refreshing. HopRod Lager - a very tasty lager hopped with Strata and Azacca for a slightly fruity aroma and a slightly bitter finish. This might be my favorite lager of all time. GTA - aged for 18 months in Laws rye barrels. 16%ABV, but smooth. Hints of prunes and dark chocolate on the nose. A seeet and complex beer with flavors of plum and charred marshmallow. Barrel Aged Peach Wheat - aged 10 months in Bear Creek bourbon barrels. Caramel and bourbon aromas. A great tart peach swath across your tongue. There's a bit of a lemon tone that takes you to a very light whiskey sour. Really good! Vintage IPA - 88 IBU...woohoo! Super interesting. The aroma reminds me of aged mizithra cheese (think Old Spaghetti Factory). The peach flavor hides but really comes out if you trill a sip. While it sits at a high IBU, it's very approachable. Great for any level of IPA lover. Road Rash IPA - amber in color with aromas of dark rye bread. The beer drinks very malt forward, which is fun for an IPA. It has an earthy finish with just the slightest hint of under ripe grapefruit. Like velour on your palate. read more

This is a 5-star brewpub! Atmosphere is fun and unique, designed like an auto repair shop, even down to details like the napkins, which are shop paper towels. Fun to look around. I didn't use the restroom, but the hubs said it resembled the Cars ride at Disneyland. Service was excellent! I didn't catch our server's name, but she was friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience great! She told us the place is family-owned and operated. The beer was great, according to the hubs. He had the Oktoberfest. I had a gin martini, which was also well made. The table split the fried cauliflower, which comes with a spicy bang bang sauce and blue cheese or ranch dressing. The menu is made for people with allergies--all of the dressings are vegan and taste great (we're not vegan). It was delicious! Portions are large. First time here. My husband and I were out to try a brewery we had not been to before. It is a little out of the way but worth it. Ample parking in their lot. From a distance it does look like an auto repair place. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. We decided to sit outside and enjoy the day. We ordered a flight to be able to sample several beers and discuss. The staff were welcoming and made good recommendations. I glanced through their food menu and we would like to come back for dinner sometime. The beers were tasty and we enjoyed all the styles. My husband enjoys scotch and ordered a dram. This place has awesome food! The beers were good as well but we definitely tried more food than beer. The Belgian IPA was a crisp and delicious beer. We sampled a flight of lighter styles and they were ok, the hefe was the best so had a pint of that. Everyone was willing to cut up their burgers/sandwich and share. The most notable item was the PB n J burger simply due to the novelty factor and fun factor. I've had other similar burgers elsewhere, but this one uses fried uncrustables as the bun and so when it was cut into it turned into a molten lava flow of PB and jelly. So, it's messy as hell! Albeit tasty! I only ate part of this one, I wouldn't want to eat an entire burger of this. I'm glad I had other flavors to eat. The Popper burger also very tasty and I ordered a delicious Rueben sandwich. The southwest soup also tasty. The French fries also stood out since they are more like potato wedge shaped, and crispy on outside then a soft, fluffy texture inside. Full disclosure that I did not drink, so this review is focused on the food and environment. We came in as a group of 12 with my family the day before Thanksgiving. A family member had called ahead and made a reservation, so the staff pushed a couple tables together once we arrived. Drinks came out quickly, though with 12 people, the food understandably took a longer time than usual and people's dinners came out at different times. No big deal. My hatch chili Mac and cheese was very tasty. The fried whole pepper that they put on top is a nice touch. I added chicken to supplement the carbs with some protein. My husband and I were visiting our son and daughter-in-law and they took us to Collision. They had been here several times before and wanted us to try it. I ordered an Irish Stout and my husband ordered a Wild Cider. Our son ordered fried mushrooms for the table and they were delicious. For the meal, my husband ordered the French Dip. I ordered the Reuben. I am a BIG reuben fan....and I wasn't impressed with this one. Instead of thousand island dressing, they used a spicy grain mustard. I love spicy grain mustard, but it didn't work with the reuben. I wasn't a fan. I ate half of it and took the rest with me (never did eat the rest of it). My husband said his French Dip wasn't particularly impressive, either. We aren't super picky about our food, but we do want it to taste like it's supposed to taste. The ambience is fun, creatively themed as a "route 66" type of place. The serving staff was friendly and helpful. There's plenty of parking and sitting places inside and outside. It is also dog-friendly (outside only). I look forward to going back sometime and trying something different. I have been to this place multiple times and if you're not a beer drinker, this is still worth a try. I've had a couple of their burgers but over time but have to shout out the Colorado burger. Its messy so be aware. It was topped with a fried green chili (Medium spice level), guacamole, jalapeno sauce and pepper jack cheese. They made a decent fry but I tried the tater tots for $1 extra and crispy but that's the way I like it. We came for lunch and it was a perfect time. We've been here at night or on weekend and they can get busy. They have a good patio and allow dogs. They seem to rotate their beers. I enjoy IPAs and like they introduce a new version regularly. The Old Ball and Shane is their newest IPA which was 5% and very hoppy and refreshing if you like your beer that way. read more

Went there on 1/8/23. Got there around 1230pm. They were not too busy. Lots of tables. Looks like they have a bar area then they have a dining area. In the back looks like they have a banquet room. I've been to the Collision Brewing Company 5 times and have had really good food with great and friendly service. Today I went there with my daughter to grab a bite and bring home my wife's favorite, Impossible burger. We made it a point to be there right when they opened so we could make a later appointment; We ordered and waited. While waiting, four more tables filled up and we noticed they were getting their food before us. 45 minutes had gone by and I asked politely, is our food pretty close? The waitress said she would check. We were there for 59 minutes and I felt like the waitress was ignoring us. Finally we had to go to make our appointment. The waitress watched us walk out and seemed like she either didn't care or was to embarrassed to tell us the kitchen never got our order. Recommended by my wife, decided to bring a friend to celebrate his birthday on the last day of freedom from the COVID confinement. It was a haul, but well worth it. When I approached the location, I thought I made a wrong turn, the place looks like a car dealership, quite grand for a brewery. Begun with the Hit and Run, a German style Hefeweizen made with honey malt, with coriander and fruity notes. The orange slice finished it off nicely. Liked it so much I ordered another. Being a coffee lover, I tried the Super Charged, a coffee infused dark ale. Definitely one that a coffee drinker would enjoy. Food wise, between the four of us, we ordered several dishes, the Mussels and Korean BBQ Short Ribs for appetizers. I was super impressed with the ribs, wouldn't have expected it form a brewery, on par with a legit Korean restaurant. My entree was the Fried Chicken Waffle, which blew me away. When ordering, I didn't realize it was an actual sandwich until it arrived stacked. The waffle's sweetness was complementary to the spicy chicken, a perfect mix of flavors.
