Not what I expected. Small space, a bit too cozy. You need a reservation to enter. The music was a bit loud & not my vibe. To use the restroom, you have to walk thru the pizza place's dining area. Masha was friendly & welcoming. The drinks were different but tasty. $16 but they were strong. Idk if I'll return.

This place was neat. Need more craft cocktail in 321. Quaint little place but very intimate and kind of freezing, bring a jacket!

The Oleander is a small speakeasy in the Eau Gallie Arts District. The room holds about 20 people. The atmosphere is fantastic. It feels like your in a secluded and private club. The drink menu is very unique. I have not seen another one like it in the Melbourne area. The cocktails are incredibly crafted and taste amazing. I would say the average drink is about $12-$18, but is well worth it in my opinion. This is my new favorite experience. I plan on making a monthly visit to The Oleander. Note: You do need a reservation to get into the Oleander. You have to contact them through Facebook or Instagram. I don't have Instagram and I barely use Facebook, so I was a little irritated. I tried to make a reservation in person because I was already in the area, but my request was denied. Was told phone reservations were also not accepted. I understand they are trying to maintain a certain type of format to obtain entry, but I'm pretty sure they did not need social media or the internet to get into a speakeasy during prohibition. I have it figured out now, so I'm good. :) That being said, I highly recommend The Oleander. I think everyone should give it a try.

So there is this interesting little bar located on Highland. You have to make a reservation via Facebook messenger to request a time in advance or they won't let you in. Once you have a time confirmed your good. Just knock and they open up and let you in. Its a charming bar that has that Great Gatsby feel. The lone bartender will come and take your drink order, there are also small bites available. She masterfully whipped up some incredibly impressive cocktails that weren't just delicious but visually appealing as well. Sit back, sip away, and let the music drift your mind back to another time.

Drinks were very good. I would say it is more ideal for brown liquor drinkers but there were some great white liquor choices as well. It's a nice quiet spot. Small on the inside. Service is good. It's a good place to grab a drink before or after dinner. You have to make a reservation to go. I made mine through instagram several hours before.

We are rum drinkers so we had the two rum selections on their main menu - the one I can't recall but the other was a Flaming Mai Tai - both were delicious.

The cocktails were exceptional. I asked for classic cocktails that weren't in the menu. They delivered. Love the place. Why Four stars? Service was three bears. The waiter with the blonde mop of hair is very nice but inexperienced. Too on top of customers when they arrive. He needs to give a menu and give a few minutes for guests to peruse it. The head bartender is brilliant. Talent without hospitality, though, is a craft cocktail fail. Kindness counts. The vibe was colder than the cocktails. I hope it improves on future visits. The blonde bartender in the grey dress was just right. Professional, attentive, and kind. This is easily a six star speak. When you are serving? You are "on." Be as excellent and calm of a person as you are outstanding at your craft.

However, what was given to us was some branded plastic package of some cheese and cold cuts you can get from the refrigerated section in any grocery store and some gas station convenience stores. Like was said above, the staff was friendly and the drinks good. The epic failure of what should be a no-brainer of how not to serve food was an unfortunate distraction from the things that were well done.

Just walk through for a memorable event. "Les" was working the bar, and was friendly and very efficient. He took my order and in no time flat I was enjoying an excellent coffee called the "Dalgona". This is A Korean whipped coffee drink made by whipping together double shots of espresso and sweet cream and adding to the top of vanilla sweetened milk. It was delicious!! Coffee options include Espresso & Lattes, Specialty Lattes, Craft Brewed Coffee - including French Press, Pour Overs, and Frappes. There are several Tea options as well including matcha, green, chai, Yerba Mate, and Black (to name a few). This is a really cool place with exceptional drinks! If you're ever in Cocoa Beach, do yourself a favor and visit this beautiful and amazing café. You'll love it!

I had a group of us driving to Orlando for a weekend and we were making good time, so it was perfect to stop short in St Cloud to see what this Black Squirrel Bookstore was all about. I actually let the girls go in and check it out as we had brought our dog. I sat in the car and read a book ironically, why they had some speakeasy fun. well after maybe a half hour i looked up and my gal and another lady were by the car. The other lady said she was the owner and that we could bring our dog Augie inside. It was very kind of her, as it really wasn't expected art such a nice spot. He sat politely under the table, while we enjoyed some fun drinks, a singer that was adding to a nice night. We left after a couple, but for sure will swing by again when we have the time; great spot.

This place is adorable!!…read more We were on our way to Orlando, and my fiancée found this place for us to stop by. The outside is a bookstore with other cute and interesting things to buy. The bookstore itself is a treat, but we were there for the speakeasy. For this you ring the doorbell outside, they come get you and give you a clue to get in. They don't make you do it if you don't want to but, that is part of the fun. We solved it and in we went. Squirrels everywhere, fun signs, chandeliers, books and light, plus beautiful cozy tables and sofa seating, giving this a great speakeasy ambiance. On the corner a piano, and to our surprise a wonderful live jazz singer, who made our experience even better. The owner happened to be there that night and came to welcomes us at our table. Really nice lady, very happy to see people enjoy the place, and she herself was there with friends having a great time. The drinks are fun, and they have a food menu too. Honestly a place I want to come back to and recommend to everyone.

Looking at the menu I was bit surprised they did not have more signature drinks on the menu, mainly mojitos, but then realized this is a Latin speakeasy, with music playing to match. Once I had my coconut mojito I was very pleased. They really do know how to make them. They also have a full bar so anything you want they can make, The bartender and servers were super nice and friendly, and they worked quick to get all drinks out. They also had some food, that looked delicious, and hope I get the chance to come back to try some. After seating in the lounge/ speakeasy area for a while, we moved to the bar for a last drink. The bartender said Espresso Martinis were her specialty so we order those. She was not lying, one of the best we've had.

Interesting space... I see the vision but this is why space planning is so important. Or maybe it's the designer in me. I found the seating very uncomfortable and awkwardly positioned. The services was good and the empanadas were tasty (little greasy) Drinks were yummy... The old fashion was presented in a box while it was being smoked, very cool concept. Overall I dig the concept and I was glad to check it out since I was in the Kissimmee area.
