3.5 HH all day Sunday. Drink specials different days during the week. I enjoyed this bar much more before my phone got stolen here. The DJ is a vibe. I mainly drink beer here. It can get a bit pricey if it's not a day/ night specials are goin. I continue to come here bc the bartenders are nice & add to the good time. It can get busy & sometimes be a wait for a drink.

It was my first time visiting the area with my boyfriend and it was my bday so we wanted to check out a local bar. We were ID'd and had my bag checked upon arrival, the guard was very friendly. There's exterior seating and speakers so we can vibe out to the music outside and inside. The interior is very speakeasy vibes with couches and seating at the bar. The bartender was cool & offered us his new creation, a spin on an Old Fashioned, called "New Fashioned"--super tasty! You can smoke inside and outside the bar, which is awesome especially if you enjoy smoking cigars. Overall super chill experience I just wish they'd played a wider range of musical genres.

Drinks are a bit pricey, but I prefer the ambience over nearby places. This is a great spot to socialize with friends or the bartenders since they are very welcoming.

The owner/bouncer out front on his high horse trying to explain an enforced dress-code while in clown attire...goodbye!

Bouncer is a joke. Nothing quite like a bad taste entering a place that is trying to make it after they shutdown due to Covid. Guy is spewing off about dress code and looks like he's in a clown suit for a birthday party. Enjoy your overpriced drinks and cigar-ridden chimney house. Hopefully something better will fill this spot soon! Update as of later the same night: I have found out that the bouncer is the owner. I will be sure to drop off some animal balloons next time I pass by, for the clown out front.

A nice addition as being part of the downtown Melbourne experience! A very laid back yet flirtatious place due to the dimly lit setting with cute bartenders serving drinks. When it is crowded, the experience may be a bit overwhelming, but is an exceptional place when it is not at that level. The room has a mix of both younger and older crowds, but everyone is here to have a good time. Just keep calm, chat with friends, and let the rhythm slowly take you away!

I went there early in the evening one night to chill out and have wine. The place is relaxing, inviting and the service is great. We had RJ taking care of us and after service is some wine he gave us a history of the art on the walls... totally fun and we stayed for another glass. Great place to chill out alone or with a group of people. Someone told me that they didn't like this place because they played super loud house music but when I went they played kick ass old school rock and I could still talk to my friend. I'm not a fan of smoking but I will deal with it if Im not choking on it. If smoke bothers you then you may not like it. OH! They even have a cigarette machine that works (no lie)

I went to this place at Saturday, kinda small but fun and the bar tenders are nice and professional, I ordered the espresso martini it's was delicious , vibe are great , if you get annoyed by the smell of smoking then this place is not for you lol

A super place to relax and enjoy with friends.

My friends and collages decided to go out and have fun after a long week of covering and reporting for the Womens Football Soccer Championship. We love this place

Classics salty sweet combination made for a great way to open the palate. For the entree, I had the Sriracha Marinated Flat Iron with avocado mashed potatoes. The steak was seasoned perfectly and the avocado mash was creamy and very tasty. I have to steal this idea and make this at home. Our server was very friendly and served our party perfectly. The environment in the restaurant is modern with nice pops of the signature Crush color. Overall an awesome experience for anytime lookin for great food in Melbourne.

I…read moreeven looked up words like gastrique, panzanella, and fettuccini with philosophical intent to order aggressively since it was his turn for the check . I really just went for the insutution of bacon wrapped dates supervised by my wife and is girlfriend (two different people). The Medjool dates with millionaire bacon and goat cheese and I am not exaggerating when I say this dish could solve international conflicts. Sweet pineapple, salty bacon, creamy goat cheese, and a drizzle of what tasted like the chef whispering sweet nothings the way I'm romantic. I was going to order a second dose for "research purposes." Truffle Honey Chicken Tenders (Not Your Childhood Lunchbox) is the most misleading name ever because "tenders" sounds like something you eat in a drive thru parking lot (I'd pick Bojangles of course). These were crispy, sticky, sweet, slightly spicy, and basically the PhD version of chicken fingers a bit dry but the sauce make it good. Brussels sprouts usually remind people of childhood trauma. These charred brussels sprouts with honey, soy, ginger, and peanuts tasted like the chef personally apologized to every person who had ever been forced to eat boiled vegetables in 1987. Smoky, sticky, crunchy, slightly sweet. I would willingly eat vegetables here again, which is a sentence I never thought I would say out loud! We build a strategy to devide an conquer in a unique waiter (I hate the name server, it sounds like tennis) recommendation that was impressive! My brother ordered the heritage pork chop, which looked like it had been bench pressing in the kitchen before arriving at the table. Perfect crust, juicy inside, sitting on sweet potato hash with a slaw piled on top like a fashionable hat and I went with the snapper catch of th day for a surf and turf combo! I considered banging on the door at 3 am for another dose of pork chop like I was in college and wanted the party to go on My brother was impressed with the Blackbird Arise that showed up like it owned the table. He said it was smooth, bold, and dangerous because it makes you start considering dessert when you absolutely do not need dessert. I don't drink so I take his word for it. The women weren't behaving so thy split a smash burger and truffle fries, which means our ordering strategy was clearly "yes." The burger had that glossy brioche bun that looks like it was polished before serving, and the fries were exactly the kind that disappear before you realize you have eaten most of them. A smash burger is supposed to drip greese down your arm and this didn't. This strategy ensured my spot on the couch for bedtime. If you go, order two doses of the dates so you don't have to bring a date.

Every day of the week they have a different separate drink menu for the specialties of that day. I love the Wednesday bourbon. The vibe inside is so amazing and Homie and it is pretty intimate though. So keep in mind if you have large parties like I went once with around six people it is hard for everyone to sit together. So I would definitely recommend coming on more weekday evenings when it's not as busy otherwise you will be having to wait in a line outside unfortunately. The capacity seems to be roughly around 30 people after talking with the bartenders. The bartenders are extremely knowledgeable. The off menu drinks that they could come up with ended up being some of my absolute favorites. I had the bartender at one point make me three surprise me drinks for whatever they felt like they could make. And every single one was so amazing I ended up passing it around to the rest of the group for everyone to try. Keep in mind, the drinks are probably a little bit more on the expensive side, but you are paying for more of the experience. It is also important to note that there is a five dollar cover fee that will last for a full week to enter the place, or you can buy an annual membership for $40. If you buy the annual membership, they do type out a membership library card for you and laminate so it feels very official and it's very cool to be able to have in your wallet. In the true vibe of speakeasy, this is a hidden gem.

The cocktails were exceptional. I asked for classic cocktails that weren't in the menu. They delivered. Love the place. Why Four stars? Service was three bears. The waiter with the blonde mop of hair is very nice but inexperienced. Too on top of customers when they arrive. He needs to give a menu and give a few minutes for guests to peruse it. The head bartender is brilliant. Talent without hospitality, though, is a craft cocktail fail. Kindness counts. The vibe was colder than the cocktails. I hope it improves on future visits. The blonde bartender in the grey dress was just right. Professional, attentive, and kind. This is easily a six star speak. When you are serving? You are "on." Be as excellent and calm of a person as you are outstanding at your craft.
