inconsistent prices. i went twice paid for just callus removal $10. new girl tells me $15. i tell her who told me she comes up first thing i ask is how much is callus removal. she goes $10. Second time here for a pedicure. Very huge inside and at a convenient location next to target and all the shops in the center. Second time I came on a Saturday and i was able to get a nail tech as soon as I walked in. They sat me down and offered the more expensive pedicure but I was short on time - luckily they didn't push and I was pleasantly surprised that they have drinks now. It's a nice add-on and made my Saturday a little bit more relaxing with peace and quiet. It's been a couple of days and the regular pedicure is still intact and had no issues - fairly clean place. Be very very careful when you come here to get a manicure. Their prices are super misleading. They charge you an extra 5 dollars to take off your nail polish, an extra 5 dollars to cut your nails, an extra 5 dollars to shape them as well. So a "manicure" that was supposed to be $50 dollars suddenly is $60-70. They are not clear about the prices at all and have limited color options. When trying to get a powder manicure, I was strongly forced into getting UV Gel. I did not want UV gel, but the manicurist tried to force me because he felt more comfortable with it. I adamantly refused. He gave in and did a hack-knee job trying to take off the powder. Ouch!!! So painful. Anyway, do not come here unless you're really looking to get forced into a manicure you don't want and looking to be up charged. read more

Lots of staff, big place, staff was nice. I didn't have an appointment but was able to get into a chair right away, which was great. Love that they serve you a complimentary beverage when you get a spa pedicure. A little bit expensive though for the life span of my nails. I got them done on Saturday & then by Tuesday when I got to my vacation destination, the polish chipped off. I did UV gel, which I got done at another place & stood on for about 3 weeks before it started chipping off. I work in the construction field, so for the first set at a different place to last me 3 weeks as opposed to 3 days, really upset me because I did have high expectations for this place. Had a great first time here and just got a basic mani-pedi today, which came out to about $50. You get a complimentary drink (water, lemonade, cocktail*, red wine, or white wine) with all services. Yes, that's right, get your nails, eyelashes, waxing/threading, and massage done and get a free drink. I first got the cocktail when I sat down for my pedicure. I thought it meant you could choose a cocktail like you would at any bar and I asked for an aperol spritz, but it appears they give you a premade drink mix that tasted mostly like a Jolly Rancher. Alright it's free, I won't fuss. For my drink to compliment the manicure, I just got a white wine. Not sure if you get a choice of what kind of white wine, but it was also room temperature. Either way, my nail tech was very kind but was a little rough on my nail beds on my left hand (the right hand which she did first didn't hurt). I'm intrigued to see how long their basic mani/pedi lasts but also to note, I lead a very active life so regardless of what kind of mani/pedi I get, my nails are usually dinged up within the first week of a nail appointment (and that is my own fault). Really cool to have a nail bar here! Definitely want to get a massage and also plan a few girls days here. I come here to do my nails and I love it. It is conveniently located in the Lake success mall with tons of parking. The place is extremely upscale and very clean. They accept appointments online and on the phone. They also accept walk ins and I never waited long. I get the gel manicure and pedicure combo for $70 and $10 for callous removal. Henry did my nails and his customer service was amazing. They offered me a free wine and he made sure I had a great experience. The only annoying thing about this place is they try to upsell a lot. It can be kind of annoying but I know they want to make their money. I would definitely keep coming back. Just make sure they don't keep upselling you. read more

Everytime I've been, I've been reminded why I'm so loyal to them. I've only started getting my nails done like 3 or 2 years ago. This will forever be my spot. I believe they specialize in builder gel the most. The specific gel they use is gorgeous. I've come here a few times for SNS nails -- they're okay in a pinch, but nothing exceptional same for gel pedicure. My main reason for leaving this review is the threading service, which was really disappointing. I came in for lip and chin threading, and it was clear during the appointment that the technician wasn't very experienced. As it was painful and I left red as a tomato (I've been getting threading services for about 20 years so I know thread pain this was not it) I tried to be patient and let her finish, but when I got home, I saw that she had missed a lot of hair on both my chin and upper lip. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend their threading services. I can't speak for their waxing, so maybe that's a better option, but this experience left me pretty frustrated. read more

my first experience here was actually good, the second visit was so rude and disappointing. the first time i came here was for gel removal and the man who helped me did a great job. he give me a clean simple manicure after, i wish i took his name. I wish I could give zero stars. I came in for a fill-in and a design on all of my nails. I was quoted a price and agreed to it. Halfway through the manicure, the manicurist said, "It's too much work for all the fingers." I was understanding and said that was fine--maybe he was tired or having a long day--and agreed to just do two fingers instead. When I asked for the updated price, he said it would be the same as the full design. I pointed out that it didn't make sense to charge the same for less work and said that if it's the same price, I'd rather have all fingers done. He whispered to himself, became passive-aggressive, and the atmosphere immediately changed. I tried to clarify with the front desk, but she also seemed irritated and asked why I was upset--though I had been calm the entire time. I never raised my voice, cursed, or caused a scene. I simply wanted to understand the pricing. The manicurist then sarcastically said, "I'll do it free!" which made me even more uncomfortable. At that point, I asked him to just leave the nails plain and skip the design altogether. What made this worse was the clear bias in how I was treated. As a Black woman, I felt stereotyped and dismissed, as though they had already decided I was being "angry" simply for asking a question. It was an incredibly uncomfortable and disheartening experience. I left feeling disrespected and unwelcome. I will never return and do not recommend this salon to anyone who expects professionalism, respect, or basic courtesy. read more

Also told them i wanted gel and they started doing a regular manicure and said it was a miscommunication but when i came in i said gel manicure. So i was sitting there for 2 hours. I went in and wanted to get a powder manicure, the guy at front desk was trying to charge me more saying the price was $66 and another lady at the front said $56. They kept switching between the prices as if they didn't know what the price was. Eventually went I went to sit down and the lady was doing my nails she never got the powder to do my nails she made me switch to builder gel which was an additional charge for $10 dollars. The lady said that the builder gel was stronger and would last longer up to 3-4 weeks. Which WASN'T the case as 4 days later my nail had broke off with no pressure or anything, I was reaching into my pocket for my phone when it broke off. Furthermore, when I was checking out I had asked the lady at the front if they was discount if I was new because there's a sign that says so at the front desk and she replied with "No" implying there wasn't, but the same guy who was charging me $66 at first said there was a discount and had given it to me. Lastly, I don't believe these nails are good and meant to last the time they say, I had another nail break again just yesterday night with absolutely no pressure put onto the nail at all, and it didn't even make it to the 3 week mark as they said it was supposed to. I've had powder nails done at other salons that have lasted longer than a month, If you go to this nail salon don't switch to the builder gel it doesn't last long at all as both of my nails didn't make it past the time they said it would last. I liked it but... not for what I need. I want a simple manicure get in and get out. This is more of a place where u get tips and gels. Like u don't get to pick ur color from nail polishes they give u the plastic nails on a keychain with the colors and they go fetch it. Talk about pressure. Because as they are working on ur nails they give it the colors and it's like i need time to choose. I've visited here a couple of times now - once on opening weekend, and once a few weeks ago and both times were equally disappointing. I went in on opening weekend because they were offering 50% all services and it looked like an absolutely stunning salon with all the shiny new facilities - however the technicians could not get it together. I texted to make an appt because I knew it would be crazy, and was told to walk in. After going in midday, they told me I would be seen shortly, but ended up waiting almost an hour. When I complained to one of the folks at the front desk and said I would be leaving, they brought a tech out immediately to do my nails. When I picked my pedi and he started working, he had NO IDEA what he was doing, all the tools being used in the wrong way, didn't understand what I was saying, I ended up having to get up from the chair and walk out, and thank god I did! I waited a few months till the craze from opening died down a little and decided to try it again (since it's walking distance from me), and actually got my pedicure this time, however while the nail tech was very sweet, she definitely was not credentialed to be giving good pedicures. My toes were sloppy, greasy, and unevenly filed. I will NOT be going back, I'm genuinely surprised this place is even in business - maybe they are better for manicures?! read more

Worst experience yet. I've been doing my nails for 15 years and this was the worst yet. Post manicure the guy didn't lotion, hot towel or even tell me to wash my hands. I did sns and my nails started chipping the very next day!! 7/10 nails chipped deeply within 3 days.... I have a very busy schedule so I didnt even have time to go back to get it fixed. Clean place, very new, i really liked my manicure by mani (Punjabi lady) also got an upper lip waxing done. It's nice now I don't have to go looking for waxing or manicure places too far, plus to have a Indian lady there is very comfortable, the places like mehak( Indian threading place) it's so rude to deal with them. Anyway it was quick service, they also serve drinks there. The place is relatively new, it is wheelchair accessible, parking is easy to find. They take walk ins or u can make an appointment too. Also usually you have to explain again n again how to do the nails but she understood me very well and did a great job, n one nail got banged up when I went to dry but she had no issues to fix it and immediately fixed it without me asking to do it. read more

I received a brand new gel X set, a week and a half later The entire nail fell off. I come back again to get it fixed, five days later the same thing happens I call to express the issue, And the manager will not let me speak nor will she assist on making good on the situation prior to this. I have spent hundreds of dollars at this salon and to receive such horrible customer service with no repair and no refund is a disgrace. Don't let the fancy decor and free drink Mislead you. I had to tell the guy doing my nails to keep filing because they were so pointy when I asked for almond nails. He also kept pushing me to get a new full set cause one of my nails was broken when I only needed a fill and told me I would still have to pay for a full new set. Super clean and upscale-looking. Loved that it was spacious and bright inside and that you get a complimentary cocktail/mocktail. Pricing is up there... I suppose on par with most salons these days. There's a large range of colors to choose from which is always great because you get lots of options. I chose a spa gel pedicure that was supposed to come with a 15 minute massage on my legs/feet but I only got 10... and it was more of just having lotion rubbed onto my legs than a massage - and there was a lot of slapping around on my calves. It was probably the worst "massage" I've ever had for a pedicure and paying an extra $10 for the "spa" package and to lose 5 minutes from that time is highly disappointing. There was a text prompt/link to share my thoughts/review of my experience which I did - but I never received a response back.
