I showed up for a scheduled appointment only to be told I wasn't on the books, and instead of taking accountability, the staff dismissed me and expected me to wait indefinitely. Due to the complete disregard for people's time and a total lack of accountability from the receptionist, I walked out. The nail technicians always rush through appointments, charge for everything, and do not take well to being told to fix nails or designs that are wrong. Second time here for a pedicure. Very huge inside and at a convenient location next to target and all the shops in the center. Second time I came on a Saturday and i was able to get a nail tech as soon as I walked in. They sat me down and offered the more expensive pedicure but I was short on time - luckily they didn't push and I was pleasantly surprised that they have drinks now. It's a nice add-on and made my Saturday a little bit more relaxing with peace and quiet. It's been a couple of days and the regular pedicure is still intact and had no issues - fairly clean place. Only negative thing was they don't have dry oil anymore because I wanted to bolt out the door. ;) read more

Every time I come here, I feel like they are always rushing their work. I got so many cuts on my fingers because they are very aggressive with the nail file and just want to get it done fast. I booked an appointment for 6:00 PM, but I wasn't seated until 6:35 PM. A male nail tech took me in and started cutting my nails. He asked, "Do you have a picture?" of the inspo, and when I showed him, he acted like he was in disbelief (mind you, it was just a French manicure but with a longer length). Then, he literally just told me to get up with no explanation. I went to the front desk, but the receptionist was talking to other customers, so I stood there for five minutes looking dumb. Eventually, a female nail tech took over. Also, they offer free drinks, right? I asked the guy politely, and he literally walked past me and ignored me. Then, the girl doing my nails asked, "What do you want?" in an annoyed tone. Like, what? Lol. It's literally a free drink, but whatever. I went to the cashier to pay and asked the receptionist, "Can I pay now?" and she said yes. As I was paying, I heard the woman next to me raising her voice and complaining; I had my AirPods in, so I couldn't really hear what she was saying. Then I turned around, she started talking to me, and I removed my AirPods. She began telling me that I cut her off! Mind you, she was on the phone, and when I paid, I actually asked the cashier if I could pay. This woman was so obnoxious and furious for a senseless reason. She claimed she had been standing there and they were all just ignoring her, and she started saying it was because she was "Black" that they treated her that way. And she was actually turned around when I walked up to the cashier; on the phone. She could've simply said, "I'm in line," or, "I'm next," and it would have been no problem, I was not in a rush. Instead, she started yelling about how I cut her off. They would've done the same thing to me if I had been in her position. I tried telling her this, and she simply said, "I don't care." That's the problem with people like that: you try to be cordial and explain, but they refuse to see from other people's perspectives that not everything is about their race. And bottom line? No I wasn't trying to cut her off, i am not raised like that. I went And paid because she was on the phone as I said. and it has got nothing to do with color, but hey, that's the kind of person she is, you slight her? She thinks it's because of color. And as a woman of Hispanic descent, I actually experienced real racism from black people, such as one telling me that I should go back to Mexico (over a disagreement that she caused, and I'm not even from Mexico). Well, I'm not Black, and they did the same thing to me earlier. I waited longer than she probably did, even though I had a reservation. This place just has a very poor system; some people walked in and got seated before me, women of different backgrounds. Overall, I don't think that part has anything to do with race. I'm not Black, but as you can see, they really did NOT provide me with good service. It's just so frustrating to me when people bring up race and play the victim in situations like this. read more

Be very very careful when you come here to get a manicure. Their prices are super misleading. They charge you an extra 5 dollars to take off your nail polish, an extra 5 dollars to cut your nails, an extra 5 dollars to shape them as well. So a "manicure" that was supposed to be $50 dollars suddenly is $60-70. They are not clear about the prices at all and have limited color options. When trying to get a powder manicure, I was strongly forced into getting UV Gel. I did not want UV gel, but the manicurist tried to force me because he felt more comfortable with it. I adamantly refused. He gave in and did a hack-knee job trying to take off the powder. Ouch!!! So painful. Anyway, do not come here unless you're really looking to get forced into a manicure you don't want and looking to be up charged. read more

Had a great first time here and just got a basic mani-pedi today, which came out to about $50. You get a complimentary drink (water, lemonade, cocktail*, red wine, or white wine) with all services. Yes, that's right, get your nails, eyelashes, waxing/threading, and massage done and get a free drink. I first got the cocktail when I sat down for my pedicure. I thought it meant you could choose a cocktail like you would at any bar and I asked for an aperol spritz, but it appears they give you a premade drink mix that tasted mostly like a Jolly Rancher. Alright it's free, I won't fuss. For my drink to compliment the manicure, I just got a white wine. Not sure if you get a choice of what kind of white wine, but it was also room temperature. Either way, my nail tech was very kind but was a little rough on my nail beds on my left hand (the right hand which she did first didn't hurt). I'm intrigued to see how long their basic mani/pedi lasts but also to note, I lead a very active life so regardless of what kind of mani/pedi I get, my nails are usually dinged up within the first week of a nail appointment (and that is my own fault). Really cool to have a nail bar here! Definitely want to get a massage and also plan a few girls days here. Love that they serve you a complimentary beverage when you get a spa pedicure. A little bit expensive though for the life span of my nails. I got them done on Saturday & then by Tuesday when I got to my vacation destination, the polish chipped off. I did UV gel, which I got done at another place & stood on for about 3 weeks before it started chipping off. I work in the construction field, so for the first set at a different place to last me 3 weeks as opposed to 3 days, really upset me because I did have high expectations for this place. I come here to do my nails and I love it. It is conveniently located in the Lake success mall with tons of parking. The place is extremely upscale and very clean. They accept appointments online and on the phone. They also accept walk ins and I never waited long. I get the gel manicure and pedicure combo for $70 and $10 for callous removal. Henry did my nails and his customer service was amazing. They offered me a free wine and he made sure I had a great experience. The only annoying thing about this place is they try to upsell a lot. It can be kind of annoying but I know they want to make their money. I would definitely keep coming back. Just make sure they don't keep upselling you. read more

I've come here a few times for SNS nails -- they're okay in a pinch, but nothing exceptional same for gel pedicure. My main reason for leaving this review is the threading service, which was really disappointing. I came in for lip and chin threading, and it was clear during the appointment that the technician wasn't very experienced. As it was painful and I left red as a tomato (I've been getting threading services for about 20 years so I know thread pain this was not it) I tried to be patient and let her finish, but when I got home, I saw that she had missed a lot of hair on both my chin and upper lip. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend their threading services. I can't speak for their waxing, so maybe that's a better option, but this experience left me pretty frustrated. read more

my first experience here was actually good, the second visit was so rude and disappointing. the first time i came here was for gel removal and the man who helped me did a great job. he give me a clean simple manicure after, i wish i took his name. I wish I could give zero stars. I came in for a fill-in and a design on all of my nails. I was quoted a price and agreed to it. Halfway through the manicure, the manicurist said, "It's too much work for all the fingers." I was understanding and said that was fine--maybe he was tired or having a long day--and agreed to just do two fingers instead. When I asked for the updated price, he said it would be the same as the full design. I pointed out that it didn't make sense to charge the same for less work and said that if it's the same price, I'd rather have all fingers done. He whispered to himself, became passive-aggressive, and the atmosphere immediately changed. I tried to clarify with the front desk, but she also seemed irritated and asked why I was upset--though I had been calm the entire time. I never raised my voice, cursed, or caused a scene. I simply wanted to understand the pricing. The manicurist then sarcastically said, "I'll do it free!" which made me even more uncomfortable. At that point, I asked him to just leave the nails plain and skip the design altogether. What made this worse was the clear bias in how I was treated. As a Black woman, I felt stereotyped and dismissed, as though they had already decided I was being "angry" simply for asking a question. It was an incredibly uncomfortable and disheartening experience. I left feeling disrespected and unwelcome. I went in and wanted to get a powder manicure, the guy at front desk was trying to charge me more saying the price was $66 and another lady at the front said $56. They kept switching between the prices as if they didn't know what the price was. Eventually went I went to sit down and the lady was doing my nails she never got the powder to do my nails she made me switch to builder gel which was an additional charge for $10 dollars. The lady said that the builder gel was stronger and would last longer up to 3-4 weeks. Which WASN'T the case as 4 days later my nail had broke off with no pressure or anything, I was reaching into my pocket for my phone when it broke off. Furthermore, when I was checking out I had asked the lady at the front if they was discount if I was new because there's a sign that says so at the front desk and she replied with "No" implying there wasn't, but the same guy who was charging me $66 at first said there was a discount and had given it to me. Lastly, I don't believe these nails are good and meant to last the time they say, I had another nail break again just yesterday night with absolutely no pressure put onto the nail at all, and it didn't even make it to the 3 week mark as they said it was supposed to. I've had powder nails done at other salons that have lasted longer than a month, If you go to this nail salon don't switch to the builder gel it doesn't last long at all as both of my nails didn't make it past the time they said it would last. I liked it but... not for what I need. I want a simple manicure get in and get out. This is more of a place where u get tips and gels. Like u don't get to pick ur color from nail polishes they give u the plastic nails on a keychain with the colors and they go fetch it. Talk about pressure. I went in on opening weekend because they were offering 50% all services and it looked like an absolutely stunning salon with all the shiny new facilities - however the technicians could not get it together. I texted to make an appt because I knew it would be crazy, and was told to walk in. After going in midday, they told me I would be seen shortly, but ended up waiting almost an hour. When I complained to one of the folks at the front desk and said I would be leaving, they brought a tech out immediately to do my nails. When I picked my pedi and he started working, he had NO IDEA what he was doing, all the tools being used in the wrong way, didn't understand what I was saying, I ended up having to get up from the chair and walk out, and thank god I did! I waited a few months till the craze from opening died down a little and decided to try it again (since it's walking distance from me), and actually got my pedicure this time, however while the nail tech was very sweet, she definitely was not credentialed to be giving good pedicures. Clean place, very new, i really liked my manicure by mani (Punjabi lady) also got an upper lip waxing done. It's nice now I don't have to go looking for waxing or manicure places too far, plus to have a Indian lady there is very comfortable, the places like mehak( Indian threading place) it's so rude to deal with them. Anyway it was quick service, they also serve drinks there. The place is relatively new, it is wheelchair accessible, parking is easy to find. They take walk ins or u can make an appointment too.
