These guys know how to throw a party!

I wanted to send a massive thank you to the One Up team for making our wedding a truly unforgettable experience. When I first spoke with them, I had no idea what they meant by High Energy Entertainment, I figured it was just a catchy tag line, but they were not kidding. Our MC Eyal literally had EVERY SINGLE PERSON on the dance floor for the majority of the night. It was mind blowing to see nearly 600 people celebrating and letting loose on the dance floor. They were extremely professional, full of great ideas and concepts and really made us feel comfortable with them. I'm recommending these guys to all our friends so we can party like that again. Simply brilliant!

First off all, I'd like to thank Eyal and his team for producing what I believed to be an impossible event.

Bad Communication…read more sent friend across town after negotiating a price through Facebook Marketplace, only to discover that the agreed price somehow magically transformed back into the original listing price the moment it was time to pay. The listing was $339. I offered $280. The seller countered at $298 and explicitly stated, "298 is the lowest I can go for the FLX4." Fair enough. That's called negotiating. I accepted the understanding that the item would be sold for $298. I then asked for the address and business hours, which were provided. At no point during any of these conversations did anyone say, "By the way, the negotiated price does not include tax," or "there will be additional card processing fees." When my friend arrived to pick up the item, suddenly tax and card fees appeared out of nowhere. The final total landed right back around $339, which just so happened to be the exact original Marketplace listing price. Maybe that's a coincidence. Maybe the stars aligned perfectly. Maybe after negotiating from $339 to $298, adding tax and fees just happened to bring the price right back to where it started. From a customer's perspective, it felt like a classic bait-and-switch. The negotiated discount existed only until it was time to actually pay. What made the experience worse was the attitude when I called to clarify the situation. Instead of acknowledging how misleading the pricing appeared, I was met with a lecture about how famous the store is and how they've been around since the 1990s. Respectfully, how long a business has existed has nothing to do with whether pricing was communicated clearly. A business that's been operating for decades should be even better at disclosing final costs upfront. The product itself may be fine. The issue is transparency. If the real total is going to be significantly higher than the negotiated number, disclose that before someone makes plans, sends a friend, or drives to the store. Clear communication prevents bad reviews. Unfortunately, clear communication was exactly what was missing here.

Beware of Paul the sound guy, he either hates his job or hates musical artists…read more... First off, I myself am a professional audio engineer, producer and musician. I also own and operate a turnkey entertainment agency with an excellent reputation. Context: I was hired to perform at a restaurant in Glendale with a 9 piece band. We came prepared and ready to go. However, the sound guy (Paul) arrived late and had a horrible attitude. You need to understand as an engineer / audio tech, the artist is YOUR priority. Take care of them, and you'll have a great show. What does that look like? Set up on time, ring out the system (monitors and mains) , gainstage your mics and instruments, etc. What did Paul do? : scoffed at our tech request, made condescending remarks any time we asked if we can make adjustments, and just made our experience very uncomfortable and disappointing . If Paul was my employee/contractor under my company, I would be embarrassed and ashamed at the lack of professionalism and interpersonal skills. I would like to think this company is better than this and maybe Paul is simply misrepresenting Cosmos AVL in the worst way. I will never hire Paul nor will I ever recommend my industry and corporate clients to this company.

Although my project was not too big, and more or less simple, the service I received was exceptional. Svet agreed to meet me at the venue to see the space and figure out what exactly I would need. I was then able to go to their showroom to see samples of what it would look like. They worked with my budget, showed up on time for the day of the event, and set everything up very smoothly. Having the lights was an absolute must and created the whole ambiance of my party! I am extremely satisfied with their customer service and products. I highly recommend this business and will definitely be using them again! A++++
