    Irish cottage pie

Drove from Bangor to try out some of Maine's potato doughnuts! Really cute store! Large parking lot for parking. They limit the amount of customers inside to 3 and require customers to wear masks. Employees are wearing masks too! They have a large variety of potato doughnuts both chocolate and vanilla with other toppings. I got the sea smoke (recommended), buckeye, coffee glaze, earl grey glaze, citrus, and regular buttermilk. Also as it was at. Patrick's day, they had Irish cottage pie pockets. They take apply pay which is a yay!

    All the donuts!

This is the ONLY place to go for donuts on the entire eastern seaboard. First of all it has the nicest staff behind the counter, and these days charm counts for a lot. And the DONUTS! The brioche donuts are light and fluffy, the blueberry especially so. The chocolate sea smoke tastes amazing. We brought home a dozen for the whole family and then we cut them up so that everyone could get a little taste of each. Please don't miss the Only Donut if you're visiting from anywhere, you'll have a great time.

This place is quality donuts. If you're seeking that fake, super sweet stuff, keep driving. If you're looking for a fresh, high quality, well crafted donut the. Stop here. There are many choices, friendly staff, easy parking, reasonable prices.

Sea Smoke. One of my absolute favorites! the perfect combination of chocolate, maple glaze and a touch of sea salt.

Very tasty donuts with some classic and innovative flavors. Both cake and brioche styles. Nice staff.

I really enjoyed all of them, but my three favorites had to be Sea Smoke, Chocolate Ganache and Earl Gray.

I thought the food was good. Maybe a little less salt but good. No prices posted anywhere. You…read moreknow what they say, if you have to ask how much, you can't afford it. $70 for my daughter and I for breakfast. Not anything special. Two entrees and drinks. My daughter was so surprised at the bill that she couldn't eat. I told her she had better eat her $30 omelette or she was walking home... If money is no object for you I'm sure you will be fine here. I'm on budget and this place exceeded my means.

Excellent food and a very cute vibe right near the Belfast rail trail. I've been here many times…read moreover the past several years. This is a great stop a for mid morning coffee and muffin, lunch and I have taken home their meat lasagne for cooking at home. All are excellent. I believe their claim to fame is breakfast but I am not a breakfast eater. The inside seating area is small and you may find people in line hovering over your table if the place is busy. There are a few outdoor tables during the summer. The time from ordering to eating is often long if you are having a sandwich or something that requires cooking but it will be delicious. Pricing is expensive but quality is high. I've had mixed experiences on service. Sometimes super friendly, sometimes I feel like I am bothering them by being there and ordering lunch. Lunch items vary and are not posted online, you have to visit to see the offerings. Would go more often if we could see menu online and call in our order. Overall a great place tucked away in Belfast.

On the fence between 4* and 5*, rounding up because they're a local small business and such. I also…read moredidn't try their bread, which would usually be a deciding factor for me. Stopped in to get some snacks to eat while hiking: in keeping with local produce, got a blueberry bran muffin and a maple bun whose name I forget. The ingredients were great quality: you could taste the freshness of the blueberries and the purity of the maple syrup. The question, for me, is whether the baking elevates these ingredients beyond if I'd just had blueberries and maple syrup. About that, I'm not sure.

On a recent cruise we had a port stop in Rockland, ME. Instead of doing an excursion we decided to…read moredo one of those "go down this street and right" excursions where you make everything up as you. Since it was between breakfast and lunch we decided to stop into Atlantic Baking for a coffee and a pastry. Atlantic Baking is an unassuming shop right along what I'm going to consider a main street through Rockland. Not necessarily THE main street, but the Main-est we saw, so I'm sticking with that. Inside are several cases of pastries, breads, rolls, donuts and other baked goods that looked at me as if to say "I dare you". There was a cinnamon roll-ish thing that looked really good, and a Vanilla latte are what talked to me most. The staff (two young ladies on this morning) were busy hustling and, even with that, were helpful as they tried to keep taking care of customers. The vanilla latte was SUE-PERB, albeit a bit hot for my taste (had it let is cool first). As we sat having our halfway-between-breakfast-and-lunch-but-not-really-brunch snack there was a steady stream of customers, I'm guessing about 50/50 regulars and cruisers. Aside from pastries, coffees and teas, there's a cooler with canned/bottle beverages for the on-the-go beverage drinker. With as much activity as was going on during our visit you'd think it'd be difficult to keep clean, but there was a gentleman who came out frequently to take care of emptied tables, trash, etc. There are windows into the baking area, proving that they've got nothing to hide. Most everything is made on site with fresh, natural ingredients by people who take pride in what they do. Atlantic Baking is a charming place and a nice stop for a mid-morning snack
