Orange ice cream
Kathi S.

Seriously the best ice cream on the planet! The Orange icecream uses real orange juice & you can see the pulp in it. They have other flavors, daily specials but I always get Orange. I love all their food, the flavors are amazing. Such a great deal to get a lunch 1/2 sandwich, chips, drink & icecream for $14-16. Can't beat it! Plus its made fresh. The whole building & ambiance speaks country farm life. I live an hour away but when I'm in the area, its a requirement to stop in.

I have a split 1/5 star review. I'm not sure what happened with my lunch order. I was baffled when I got my sandwich and had a lone slice of meat? it was one of the saddest sandwiches I've ever seen. My coworker ordered extra meat on his and therefore I assumed this was a normal amount of meat. I asked him later and he said no it shouldn't have been this little meat, he just wanted more. ha... ouch. this sandwich meal for $17 really hurt. the ice cream was great, fresh, and didn't make me gassy somehow, so that gets 5 stars, but I could never eat the hot food offerings here again.

Poppin' sandwich spot. Orange ice cream is a must. Customer service was pleasant. You can pick up local honey.

Super crowded, but worth the wait! I'd recommend the Jacques sandwhich and the Orange Smoothie!!! The Orange Smoothie is a must! I'm usually not a smoothie or milkshake person, but I am in love with the smoothie. The best Orange Smoothie ever!!!

Tri tip sandwich whole before being unwrapped.

Great food. Even though this roadside sandwich shop in Strayhmore was packed for lunch on a Saturday, ordering went fairly quickly and they were completed quickly for pick up too. I got the lunch special for $15 which was a full sandwich with all fixings, chips, a drink and ice cream! I chose the orange ice cream which was totally scrumptious. I haven't had orange ice cream like that since I was quite a bit younger. My sandwich was very moist and on a good substantial white bread roll which was very fresh. Strong enough to hold the sandwich filling and not fall apart. Delicious with Mayo, mustard onion lettuce and tomatoes on my tri tip. Plenty of seating indoors and also outside at umbrella tables if you want shade. Truly a winner. They have salads too.

Run don't walk! Delicious orange ice cream. Think Dole Whip but orange. They close at 4 and don't be late. Parking is easy and plenty of seating.

Good sandwiches I thought think they can be bigger and little better and ice cream is on point

Turkey Sandwich

Awesome little highway pit stop. Orange soft serve and smoothie taste just like the old Orange Juilius, just a little better and obviously made with real Orange.

Normally love them especially the Strathmore location BUT this sandwich is sad. Very sad. For $15 I expect some food

Usually I love the Orange Work but this sandwich is very sad. For $15 I expect to get some decent amount of ingredients in my sandwich.

Lunch combo: Tri tip sandwhich and orange ice cream

Local and fresh! Sandwiches made to order and delicious orange ice cream that I can never get enough of! I usually get the Tri tip sandwich combo that comes with a choice of a drink, chips and their signature ice cream (orange) or the ice cream of the day (the iced cream flavor changes daily and a calendar of the flavors can be found on their Instagram). I especially LOVE the orange ice cream because it is made from the oranges produced in this area and you can see the pulp in the ice cream itself. A great place to grab a quick lunch(: We usually sit outside and the tables are very well kept but there's nice air conditioning and indoor seating as well. The service is great and they call your name via a speaker so that you can hear it if you're waiting for your food outside. When they do have their special flavored ice creams, I do recommend going early as they do run out towards the end of the day.

We enjoy stopping and getting their fresh orange shake. They serve a great lunch and have local items to take home with you. The service is quick and efficient. They know how to move the line and keep the quality of food too. It's a great little place to stop in the summer time. You can eat inside or enjoy your food outside under an umbrella.

Fast service and very convenient…read more The menu is displayed on the wall without any prices. Most items were $9-13. The seafood items were made beforehand and placed in the refrigerator. There were also bagged chips, cubed fruit and Tajin candies on display. Service is always quick. *Aguachile: plump shrimp, cucumber, and avocado in a cup with spicy water. This surprisingly packed a lot of heat so it went well with the fruit. The cucumbers soaked up the peppery seasoning well. The shrimp was tender and sweet. The most refreshing version I've had in the Central Valley. *Ceviche: shrimp, tomato, cucumber, onion and avocado cooked in citrus. The container looked small but it was filling. Each serving was topped with a whole avocado. The shrimp was similarly tender and the vegetables were fresh. I prefer my ceviche to be on the sour side and this gave me the pucker I wanted. Served with 3 grocery store tostadas. I wished these were made fresh because I've been stuck with stale ones before. *Escamocha: came with a choice of ice cream. I chose their walnut flavor and resembled a nuttier butter pecan. The fruit was chopped finely and was sweetened by the cream. The almonds provided a good crunch. Surprisingly mild tasting compared to the fresas con crema. *Fresas Con Crema: the serving size was a bit small for $9 but it was creamy and sweet. The strawberries were plump from soaking in the condensed milk. These were topped with almonds and coconut flakes. Really addicting. Not fancy but the seafood here is better executed than most restaurants in the Central Valley. I just wished the tostadas were fresher to match the quality of the shrimp and produce.
