Service is top notch as they all help each other out. I made a reservation on one table but the place is surprisingly large. It's located right across the Galeria mall.

Lasso Gaucho Brazilian Steakhouse was a pleasant surprise and find. My fiancee and I went for our…read morebirthday dinner and the experience was better than expected. They have a full salad bar and cold bar items at the bar where you can self serve. They also have soups and rice available to be eaten with meats. Same concept as Texas de Brazil, where diners can let the servers know when they are ready to eat more or just not ready by flipping the token to show red or green side. The servers will stop by the side of the table with various meats cooked to different temperatures to offer to diners. You can pass if you don't want or you can let them know how many slices you would like. The interior seemed really nice and cleanly maintained. They also have fried yuca, plantains, fried cheese that servers will bring to the side of your table and you can ask for however much you want. To me, this was like upgraded version of all you can eat. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the food, and the hospitality. If something was lacking, I didn't notice it because all the other things that matter, like customer service and hospitality more than made up for it. I would definitely come back again in the near future with the rest of the family. Thank you Lasso Gaucho Brazilian Steakhouse for such a fantastic first time dining experience. The parking is super limited. Just valet park. It's under $15 and it's not like we spend money on valet parking everyday. Please make sure to show your appreciation to the valet driver! Please let me know ow what you thought!

Both times I went on a weekend without reservations and there was plenty of sitting available. At no point I saw them busy , however is a big location so is hard to fill up. Price for dinner is about $63 and doesn't include drink or dessert. The meats were delicious and well seasoned and keep coming all night. Plenty options at the salad bar and the being hot sides to the table. Definitely nice for a special occasion. Nice vibes but not necessarily upscale.

So we reordered vodka & tonic, Jack & Coke - drinks that can't be made wrong. This is funny, but they forgot the tonic and just served straight vodka! Jeff ordered a glass of Pepsi and it took 90 minutes to get it. Also they only refilled our water goblets once in 3 hours. 1-star for the beverage service. 2. Salad bar: They had us eat salad for over one hour which is less expensive than meat; but the salad bar was exotic. Kalamata olives, marinaded artichoke, grilled garlic cloves, sautéed mushrooms, salmon, prosciutto, sliced parmigiano cheese, lobster bisque, and many more items. 4-stars for the Salad Bar. 3. The Meats. It's a steakhouse so meat is the Star Performer. First they bring out the inexpensive meats like sausages and chicken and overcooked beef. I skipped all those. Finally they brought the flank beef steak and the lamb. The lamb was amazing and I got exactly 3 bites of it. Again, we paid $80 per person plus a 20% gratuity. 4. Rest Period. For an unknown reason, the staff left us alone for more than 30 minutes while we sat with empty plates. 5. Dessert. There was a beautiful dessert plate of six offerings that were so artistic. I actually couldn't narrow it down to even the top three choices. However, we didn't get this. We had our choice of Key Lime pie or Banana Foster pie. Almost everyone chose the Banana Foster pie and it was 5-star delicious. Since this is a chain restaurant, I don't know if it was baked on the premises or shipped in frozen. 4-stars for dessert. 6. Ambience. Here is where the restaurant truly downgraded our holiday party. They had a beautiful dining room with floral arrangements and statues, but they didn't seat us there even though it was nearly empty. They put us in a tight closet where we were literally elbow to elbow and that's why we had poor service. Luckily we're a great crew who enjoy each other's company, so we made the best of the tight uncomfortable seating. This closet they put us in didn't even have artwork on the walls or one centerpiece. It was a disappointment since we expected fancy treatment. 1-star for the party room and the ambiance. In conclusion, be sure to reserve the dining room; do not order any mixed drinks; and wait for the lamb. Then you might enjoy this chain restaurant.

All I can say is that you should try it at least once, because there are not enough stars that I can give it. This is a unique farm experience if you want to find out what Brazilian cooking is all about. If you go, go with friends, because everything is made fresh and it can take sone time to prepare everything for everyone. But you can take your own bottles of wine or champagne while waiting, and believe me, once you taste the array of food that is provided, you'll ser that the wait was worth it. The staff is very friendly and the ambiance is casual, but warm and welcoming, as if you discovered an aunt who lives on a farm and wants to treat you to a meal. This is definitely a hidden gem that I recommend to everyone
