Personally, I go to Danda because I think she does a fantastic job, and I'm always happy with the end result--for both my hair and my beard. It's a great experience all around. My son and I have been using this studio for years, and it's a great place to see the difference between whatever you get at Fantastic Sam's versus what an actual hair studio can be when it comes to getting a hair and beard trim, especially as a male. I didn't realize the difference before, but now I do, and I'd never have it any other way. Also, hot towels. I love hot towels. They have hot towels--and yes, a lot of places have them--but the way Modern Man uses them makes the experience that much better. And unlike some other male-oriented salons, they don't do the awkward neck massage with a little vibrating massager that's supposed to make a difference. It doesn't. The only difference it makes is increasing the chance I'll never return to that place. Modern Man has the formula down.
