me and my boyfriend are regulars we spot once or twice a week to play our favorite and a few drinks. we never had problem getting in or playing pool , hower in one week alone we turned away one night we pulled up and the door was open music playing and my boyfriend got out the car to smoke waiting for me to get of the car to go inside the suddenly the music was turned down and the staff came and locked door really fast even tho people were inside so we left thinking maybe the were closing early because I was a Tuesday. So we tried going to that bar again on Friday night at like 12:30 we thought we were good because the usually stay open until 1:30 like all other bars in California, However when walked up open the door they stop us to say the closing and I was like what why it's only 12:30 we have a n hour and the staff member was said oh we have a bunch of young in here who buying or spending money we are going to close I was like we just wanted a drink and maybe some pool for 30min and he like you have a drink but we don feel like wai for you to play pool so you cant play pool and was like we drove a 30 mins from Salinas to here this wow I feel they were being racially discriminatory read more

If the bartender was nicer I would go back but he is really nasty. Like he hates his job and could care less who you are. Plus his drink mixing is horrible so I just order a gin and tonic. I don't need to pay someone to make a crap drink and serve it with attitude. read more

The bar was fun and do was great but the bar tender on the other hand was another story I understand being a bar tender you have to deal with drunk people sometimes but you know that's part of the job requirements. the price of drinks are on the high side other then the bar tender and price of drinks it's an ok bar I most likely won't be coming back but that's just my opinion :) read more

Happy hour deals are great, they have free wi-fi too. And the bartenders are the nicest! Not too busy on a Monday night, which is not too shabby if you're looking to get some work done on your computer while getting toasty. They have a pool table and a dartboard, if you're interested in that. I'll definitely come back while i'm working in the area. read more

The whole night would have been much nicer if there weren't so many fruit flies around our drinks. Great sports lounge great bar, pool darts and lot's of flat screen tv's. Very recently remodeled so no longer a dive but a cool loungey kinda a vibe. This is the go to place for a cocktail and catching a game in Marina. You got to check it out for yourselves. Very convenient, atm next door and noodle bar across the street. read more

I came here for Cinco de Drinko/Mayo this year to meet my friend who's a regular. I was surprised at how modern and trendy looking the bar was for being in a strip mall. It's not a very big place, but, a great selection of drinks and beers. Kudos for the nice new TV;s to watch sports and there were a lot of drink specials going on that night. I was super happy to see the Mayweather fight going on that night with no cover charge! The only thing I didn't care for was that the place could use some shades or pull-down blinds. They are on a corner in a strip mall and everybody can see yor business through the wrap around window, minor detail.... Another big plus Jack in the box and Taco Bell right accross the street. I would def come back if I find myself in Marina with a bit of a thirst. read more

This is a friendly local bar. Service is generally good, and most of the bartenders are friendly. Sometimes it seems they're divided between having the sound on the TV vs. the jukebox. It drives me crazy when both are competing for my attention. I personally think there should be no volume on the TVs unless there's an important game on - otherwise, let's listen to music and put on closed captioning. The pool tables are a nice feature. While they don't serve food (other than chips for sale), people are welcome to bring in food to eat and there are tables for eating. read more

The Den! .. Ladies and Gents if you're trying to have a good time this is it. They have college night on Thursday night , prices are awesome esp. If you're a student!! Plus the bartender's a Hottie!! The people are super down to earth and actually talk to you, coming from a big city where everyone shuns you for talking to them. I went here with friends and the bartender Trinidad tried to play me for a drunk foul blonde girl and over charge me on my drinks! I guess he figured I wouldn't notice! When I confronted him on it he called me a lier took my bill than said don't worrie about it than approached my friends and me and made a statement ( dont worry I won't over charge u like your friends thinks)! Very interesting vibe here and I will need to visit again to figure it all out. Service was friendly and we sat at the bar, I stared at the shelves of decent liquor offerings which reminded me of bar found in a trendy nightclub or the cover of the movie Cocktails... but there are tv screens everywhere and a billiards table... is this place a sports bar? Then there are a couple sofas ... is this a lounge? No Shiho... it's a den. I think I'm confused because we never had a den while growing up... just one main living room. Awesome bar! Like other reviews say, it is more catered to college students like myself but you find many locals there as well. Thursday's are college nights with great drink deals and Dj Kimmy playing awesome music! Drink prices are on point, with many types of spirits and beers.
