Beer is a bit expensive and more "commercial" than a true biker bar. Not much else around, so I guess it is ok!

Redd's is a unique place, and Redd herself--the owner and primary bartender/server--is a delight. She told us the history of the pub and how the bar was designed and made, which was very interesting. At 6 PM, she starts taking requests and singing pop songs throughout the evening, which makes the whole experience even more memorable. My wife and I both had burgers, and they were cooked perfectly to order. She had the slaw as her side, and I had Redd's mother's potato salad, which was delicious. We enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and visiting with some of the regulars as they filled in around the bar. It's a neat place--maybe a little eccentric, but in the best way--and a lot of fun. For the type place it is, we give it 5 STARS. We will definitely be back.

The bartender and patrons R, very friendly and the pores are plentiful as well.. I ordered the village cheese steak as it was recommended by my bartender and boy! It was jam packed with meat, sweet peppers and onions and mushrooms- the best part being that they used enough cheese so that it didn't get lost in all of the ingredients - SO GOOD! It was actually enough for people with the spicy fries included. If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend stopping into Redd's pub.

Everyone in our 7-person party enjoyed their apps and entrees. I tried the following: -Peel and eat jumbo shrimp- these royal red shrimp are apparently caught locally (in the gulf) and they are AMAZING. Succulent, flavorful, tender, a little sweet. The only comparable shrimp I remember having were at Penny here in New York and they were smaller and way more expensive. -Spicy tuna dip- also a highlight! The tuna is smoked and the dip has a medium fresh-green-pepper spiciness. -Ceviche Good! This was a special. The base ingredient was shrimp and aside from the citrus, there was some hot sauce drizzled on the top. Also served with tasty avocado. -Bushwacker (frozen; white rum, coffee, Irish cream, chocolate liqueur, float): I wanted to have one of these on the trip! I thought it was tasty and refreshing, tasted mostly chocolatey, and was served in a metal cup, which kept it nice and cold. It was obviously sweet, but not overly sweet.

We ordered the Cuban and the Guinness burger which both were awesome! The prices were reasonable. The only hard point is availability is limited. We had a party of 6 so our older kids sat at a different table (which they probably preferred) and we sat further away. They seat you as you arrive so make sure your whole party is there. Come without shoes or shirts because it doesn't matter- this place is super casual and outdoors. Closed Mondays!

I really wanted to like this place, but it ended up being a disappointing experience overall…read more The one standout was the gumbo. It had a nice kick to it, was full of flavor, and the $10 cup was a generous portion. My partner and I both ordered a cup, and it was easily the best thing we ate. Unfortunately, everything else went downhill. We split the fried redfish basket, and for what it cost, it felt almost criminal. There wasn't a price listed, so getting the bill was a shock (especially because all the other baskets were $30). The fish itself was decent quality, but the breading was heavy, bland, and overwhelmed the redfish. The curly fries were unique, but they left both of us feeling greasy and weighed down afterward. Service was mixed. The hostesses were friendly and welcoming, and our server was pleasant as well, though it felt like there was a strong push to upsell throughout the meal. In the end, two cups of gumbo, one fried fish basket to share, and our total came to $85 including taxes and tip. Considering the quality of the fried basket, the value just wasn't there. If the fish basket alone was around $50, that price is hard to justify. It felt more like a money grab aimed at visitors than a restaurant focused on earning repeat local customers.
