Redd's is a unique place, and Redd herself--the owner and primary bartender/server--is a delight. She told us the history of the pub and how the bar was designed and made, which was very interesting. At 6 PM, she starts taking requests and singing pop songs throughout the evening, which makes the whole experience even more memorable. My wife and I both had burgers, and they were cooked perfectly to order. She had the slaw as her side, and I had Redd's mother's potato salad, which was delicious. We enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and visiting with some of the regulars as they filled in around the bar. It's a neat place--maybe a little eccentric, but in the best way--and a lot of fun.
