We stopped at Redd's Pub in Santa Rosa Beach for dinner and had a great time. We arrived a little early, so the crowd was light at first, but it steadily picked up as the evening went on. Redd's is a unique place, and Redd herself--the owner and primary bartender/server--is a delight. She told us the history of the pub and how the bar was designed and made, which was very interesting. At 6 PM, she starts taking requests and singing pop songs throughout the evening, which makes the whole experience even more memorable. My wife and I both had burgers, and they were cooked perfectly to order. She had the slaw as her side, and I had Redd's mother's potato salad, which was delicious. We enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and visiting with some of the regulars as they filled in around the bar. It's a neat place--maybe a little eccentric, but in the best way--and a lot of fun. For the type place it is, we give it 5 STARS. We will definitely be back. read more

Cool decor on the walls. It's entertaining to read lol the signs. The food was good. I had a jalapeño popper burger and green beans. The burger was good but I felt it was lacking toppings. The green beans were truly spectacular. if you are going for drinks, other than beer, don't go here. Their mixed drinks are made with wine based products and they are not good. Redd's even though it is located in the thirty eight area, it feels more like a cozy neighborhood bar, where everyone knows your name. The bartender and patrons R, very friendly and the pores are plentiful as well.. I ordered the village cheese steak as it was recommended by my bartender and boy! It was jam packed with meat, sweet peppers and onions and mushrooms- the best part being that they used enough cheese so that it didn't get lost in all of the ingredients - SO GOOD! It was actually enough for people with the spicy fries included. If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend stopping into Redd's pub. read more

This is a cool spot, a unique need in the area. Very small inside, so be weary of when it's busy. I would recommend for beers, but food was pretty meh for what you get. Over $25 for a flatbread pizza that's half meat lovers and half cheese. 12"x6" - was actually bothered by it tbh. I saw a caprese pizza come out after ours and the cheese was melted very nicely. The cheese on our pizza was noticeably grated, but there's was melted, not sure why that was, but it was nothing to rave about. I would avoid ordering the sangria, it's pretty dry - unless you're into that. I did not mind, but my wife was not into it. But, don't let it deter you from checking this place out. Very cool vibe with singing bartender. We were referred for the po-tini which is supposed to be very good. We are wanting to return to try it. This place is different, in a good way. We took a group of 8 here on a Tuesday night. The entire experience was unique and fun. Our server was funny and great at keeping our drinks full and the food coming. Redd herself entertained us with music and personality. They have a varied and unique appetizer menus and the burgers were great, key lime pie for desert. Redd called me an "incredibly handsome bald man." So she would get all the stars anyway, but this truly was an experience worth the time. Redd's is a locally friendly, casual and unique place. A converted gas/fueling station now turned to a restaurant/bar with a talented owner. Open for about 5.5 yrs, Redd does it all ... runs the business, entertains the guests, mixes drinks and serves the food (even cooks her recipes too) to you, wow! Plus she has 400+ songs that you can select for her to sing during your evening. But come early (reservation suggested) to get a table in this 'divey' joint, especially on weekends when regulars or travelers are visiting Redd's. We came in for a couple drinks and dinner mid-week, so were lucky to experience Redd's full service during a non-busy night. Tried a couple of the local Grayton brewery beers, and for me, the homemade brisket nachos were the best, a meal in itself! Freshly made chips with plenty of melted cheese, slow cooked tender brisket and generous scoop of Pico de Gallo salsa; then sides of freshly made guacamole, sour cream, salsa and jalapeños. It made a great sharing appetizer! For entree, shared a Green tomato BLT, fresh veggies and sweet potato fries. The sandwich was OK for me, but if you're a fan of fried Green tomatoes, it may be right down your alley. Menu has a lot of variety to choose, unfortunately didn't get to try their ribs tonight which I heard were excellent. But friends did try the Chicken tacos (very good) or you can also order a burger, Salads etc. If you're passing through Santa Rosa Beach area, Redd's is definitely a one of a kind spot, and worth a stop for some eats and entertainment - thanks Redd! When we called before we were told that we had to make dinner reservations to see the band. The restaurant/pubb is on the back side of a gas station. Most of the place was empty. We attempted to order drinks, but were informed that their liquor wasn't real liquor. It was malt liquor. We ordered three appetizers, nachos, wings, and brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts were great. My husband was impressed with the wings until he bit into a bloody, uncooked piece. The nachos were a sad excuse for nachos. Redd is amazing and Brian is one of the best waiters and nicest guys you'll ever meet. I've been 4-5 times in the last couple of months, taking different friends that have come into town, and they instantly fell in love with it too. So much fun, and not like any bar you've been too. What a unique place! If you're not into the beachy overpriced eateries in the area, seek this place out. That's what we did while visiting. It's hard to find, we drove past it and almost drove past it again. You have to enter at the gas station, but drive down the gravel lane beside it to the back. There you'll find a parking lot (with bit potholes) and you just kind of find a spot. You also enter the place back there. Inside is very fun. Lots of red decor and really funny signs. It's neat to just look around, very eclectic and original. There is a small stage at the end where they have live entertainment. There is a full bar, and some tables for sitting at. Redd is the singing bartender, and if you're there on a night she sings, it's highly entertaining. She sings while she works, singing a variety of well-known songs. She's pretty good, too, and adds some dancing, props, or other silly moves in with the song. You can request songs (she asks for at least a dollar for a request). The night we went in she normally doesn't sing. However, a group of women had previously called and requested her to sing for them when they went out. So they arrived shortly after we did. We lucked out! It was so fun. As for the food, the menu is very limited, but her staff cooks up some insanely delicious food. I had a fried green tomato BLT which was divine. My husband had what he said was the best burger he's ever had. He raved about it all night. It had jalapenos and bacon...just something about it made it the bomb. The other two at our table also got tasty burgers. They don't serve regular fries, just sweet potato which isn't my favorite. However, they were pretty tasty, too! I'd prefer regular potato, though. We enjoyed Stella Artois on tap while we ate. It was served in nifty Redds plastic cups that are bright red when the drinks is cold, but loses color to be semi-opaque white when warm. We asked if we could keep the cups, cool souvenir. Redd is a funny lady who can be a bit crude at times, which I love. It's kind of small inside, so it would get crowded on a busy night.
