We've been coming here for a couple years now and the services have always been good. It used to cost us $50 a night to board our dog however they've raised their prices twice in the last year and it's now just under $100. We probably wont come back unless the pricing changes. read more

- Save Your Dogs from This "Resort" Do NOT be fooled by the word "resort" in this place's name. What my two dogs received was nothing short of a prison sentence -- and an expensive one at that. Their 5-day stay cost me more than my own vacation at a resort in Galveston. I did my due diligence. I visited the facility in person before booking. It looked beautiful, the staff seemed attentive, and the other pet owners coming and going appeared happy with their experience. I left feeling confident my dogs were in good hands. That confidence was a mistake. I paid for an XL suite so both dogs could stay together and have a comfortable, resort-style experience. I also paid for the "Gold Social Play Package" for BOTH dogs -- their most expensive package. What I actually got -- documented on their own camera system -- was day after day of my dogs sitting in a pee-soaked suite. I watched live feed videos. It was not a one-time accident. It was the entire stay. The suite was not being cleaned; my dogs were simply living in their own waste. In five days, I never once saw them out of that suite for more than 10 minutes -- and that brief time out was not even to clean up the filth they were sitting in. I paid a premium for social playtime and received none of it. When I picked them up, their blankets, their toys, and they themselves reeked of urine. It was immediately obvious they had been in that mess for the duration of their visit. Both dogs had a clean bill of health from the vet right before drop-off. Since coming home, they have been vomiting and having diarrhea. The unsanitary conditions they were kept in are the only explanation. I do believe they were fed their regular food, which I sent with them -- so I'll give one star rather than zero. But that is the only positive thing I can say. What I cannot understand is this: I watched other dogs receive attentive, loving care during my pre-visit. I bought your most expensive package. So why did MY dogs spend five days sitting in pee, ignored and neglected? What did I do wrong as a customer? What did my dogs do to deserve less? You charge resort prices. We have been a customer of this facility since it opened and they were wonderful. Last October I learned, my go to place, had my dogs "red flagged," because I never allowed them to be in day care with a bunch of dogs. So they made the exception. I booked well in advance for another future date and now my 12 year old dog is too old. This is a breed known to live for up to 18 years with zero health issues. The others have to be prescreened since they were not there within the last 6 months. The new ownership is to be rated separately from the old. I have boarded my dogs over several years here on and off and I can tell you it has deteriorated terribly!! I boarded my shih tzu and pom-shih here in September for 5 days, only to come home from our trip a day early to find two very dirty, neglected dogs. My pom-shih has the most beautiful full coat and apparently he had some diarrhea ( probably from stress) that was caked and dried on his coat that had been there for several days. His little bottm was red, excoriated & raw due to having endure this for days. When I complained the "manager Angela " she could care less, so I requested to talk to the general manager and I wanted corporates number and email only to be told this was all confidential information and none of this would be disclosed. The run around and rudeness I experienced with this place was beyond ridiculous.. The staff is so incompetent and could care less about customer service or even caring about their clients ( our puppy dogs).. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!! Horrendous customer service! We have taken our female lab dogs here for a couple years neither of them are fixed as we are planning to breed them. Elite is fully aware of our dogs not being fixed or they are "intact" as they call it. We have boarded them there before when one of the girls was in heat and there were now challenges. We always request they don't have time with other dogs as they are sweet and other dogs there can be aggressive. Also, we don't want an accidental pregnancy. We booked them to stay for the week of Thanksgiving as we were headed to Cancun for a vacation. The girls went into heat simultaneously the week before we were set to leave, however since they had taken them before when one was in heat, and we don't want socialization with other animals we thought it would be okay. We arrived 4 hours before our flight and informed them they were in heat. Abrasively, they said that is going to be a problem. Then informed us a new management team was running the facility, and they no longer board dogs in heat as the other male dogs in the facility would become more aggressive. If new policy changes took effect, it is usually best practice to inform your client of the changes so proper accommodations can be made, there were no such communications. I think they are lazy and did not want to have extra clean up. Now with four hours until our flight we have to try to find care for our pups the Sunday before Thanksgiving. We started calling around and found out there are at least 10 other boarding facilities in the Rockwall area and all of them said the same thing we would have taken them and just kept them separate from the other dogs at all times. The other facilities seemed perplexed that this was an issue at all, but unfortunately, they were all booked for the holiday week. We were able to find a solution and went on our trip the stress caused by them taking a reservation and failing to keep the reservation caused my wife to have stress hives that did not bode well for a swimsuit. We will never do business with them again and after their recent outbreak of kennel cough and other problems they have I hope they close soon. They are overpriced and have got too big for their britches and the boomerang of life is coming around. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH ELITE SUITES. read more

I can't believe this place doesn't have five stars all around. I have nothing but good to say about this facility. I was on vacation in California, and had a friend of a friend watching my girl, Dolly. She had a little dog of her own and was not used to big dogs, and Dolly is over 55 pounds, although she's only an eight month old puppy. The sitter let me know after three nights that I needed to pick her up, because she was playing too rough with her dog and she wanted her picked up immediately. I said I am in California, how am I supposed to come pick her up? It was 6:50 PM on a Sunday night. I quickly searched pet sitting/boarding in the Rockwall/Heath area. I found Elite Suites immediately, and called them. I spoke to the sweetest gal, Kaci. She said we close in 10 minutes, if she can get here right away we can take her now. The lady wasn't able to take her until the next morning when they opened early, but I was relieved as all get out! Now mind you, Elite Suites didn't have any information about Dolly, except my conversation with them on the phone. They didn't ask for pre-payment or for immediate vet records. They were saving her from being at a house where she wasn't wanted, or concerned about her. They wanted her there safely and promised to take good care of her. Well that's exactly what they did. I forwarded her vet records and all the information that was required, and booked her into a suite that had a WebCam. I could check on her during the day and see her sweet little fluffy face whenever I wanted to. I just picked her up this morning, and the girls that work there were fighting over who got to go get Dolly out of her suite. They loved her so much! When they brought Dolly out she was thrilled to see me but she was also thrilled to see the girls that work there, and it showed! Plus as a bonus, they called me yesterday and asked if I wanted Dolly to have a bath before she left, and I said absolutely! The bath was only $50. I live in the Plano area and the cost of a pet suite and a bath here would be almost double the amount I paid. With all of this said, I highly recommend this place. It was super clean and a really beautiful building with a nice shop inside with toys, treats, etc. Very kind people, especially Kaci, work at this place. I'm as picky as they come when it comes to my baby and I would never take her anywhere other than this place in the future. Also worth noting...I live in Plano so this was 21 miles away. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this place. These people moved my fur baby to another kennel while she was boarding there and never notified me about it. I had to contact them so that they would give me access to the new webcam. They also never told me the reason why she was moved. The lady I spoke with on the phone simply said that she didn't know. No explanation was ever given. To make things worse, we went to pick her up from boarding, and just because we arrived at 7pm on the dot, and I literally mean on the dot, they made her stay another night. I was in contact with them the whole time, while we were rushing through traffic just to get there before 7pm. The manager is obviously SO fixated with following policies, that it has overshadowed his connection to the human side of things. Basically, It's not his dog, so it's not his problem, and he couldn't care less. Who knows, maybe he even got a kick out of it. If they can't show kindness or compassion towards another human being, I can only imagine how humanely they must treat the animals in their care. Makes me feel sick to my stomach just to think that we left our beloved fur baby with these people. When we finally went to pick her up the next morning, at 8:00am on the dot, she cried for about 20 minutes on our way home. This had never happened before, and she had been at a different facility two times prior. We travel a lot, and we usually bring her with us. Leaving her at this place was a huge mistake. So let me start by saying about a year ago I had a wonderful experience at this boarding facility; However, upon arriving at home after my pups most recent stay I noticed my english mastiff Tank was limping and having a hard time lying down. Upon further examination I discovered he had horrible burns on all his dew claws (most likely from being put on ground which is too hot). Also the morning I picked him up I asked that they bathe him and I noticed between all his toes it is bright red too from the heat. I then called a little irritated that my poor dog has been burned and uncomfortable and no one even thought to mention it to me. Ashton (the manager) tried to tell me that his paws look this way because he pulls on the leash. I had quite a few problems with this response. 1) This means ashton (who said she walked him herself) noticed the marks and choose not to inform me, probably was just hoping I would not notice. 2) When I would call to check on my dogs everyone told me everything was great with the dogs. No one mentioned anything about having a hard time walking my dogs or anything else. 3) The reason ashton used to defend my dogs injury in her care was that he was too big and she was having a hard time controlling him. My response was IF YOU CANNOT CARE FOR LARGE DOGS THEN WHY IS THIS FACILITY ACCEPTING THEM???? So my tip to other large dog owners would be that if your dog pulls this is not the facility for them. They are clearly not properly staffed for large breeds and it is a danger for them to even accept these dogs. Would love to speak with the owner but ashton failed to provide any info I asked for, so the best I could do is leave an honest review. read more

Elite Suites in Rockwall/Heath just lost my family's dog. They contacted us way after they knew she had been missing. She has been missing since last night and we just found out about it hours ago. They let her and a group of dogs outside and did not watch them closely enough or inspect their yard good enough to make sure that any holes or openings in their yard were patched and she escaped through one of them. Beware of boarding your dog at this kennel as they clearly do not watch the animals close enough or notify you fast enough when something has gone wrong with your dog. She is a small Jack Russell terrier/chihuahua mix. White/brown coloring and her name is June. If anyone sees her around that area please let us know! read more

Booked my dogs two months in advance for drop off at 7 am for a premium suite with camera, daycare out of their kennel everyday, special cookie every night before bed, pictures and updates daily. Brought their own big beds and food bowls and toys. Got there at 7am for drop off, staff not there till 8 am. They said it was a miscommunication. My dogs weren't given their beds until I called and texted to ask why their beds and toys weren't in their kennel with them. Hours after drop off the dogs were still in their kennel. Called/texted and was told they'd check on it but that they were very busy. Eventually was told they needed evaluation before daycare and that couldn't be done until Monday. I was told when touring, then when booking, then on two separate confirmations that they'd be evaluated upon getting there and allowed to have daycare everyday in order to be out of the kennel most of the day. Staff said it was another miscommunication. I expressed my extreme disappointment knowing my dogs would be stuck in a kennel for two days before being let out to play. So I begged them to please evaluate and let them out. Was told they'd ask the evaluator who was indeed there that day. Eventually was told no again and that they'd have to wait till Monday. I was already out of town so I could do nothing. I had no way for anyone to go pick them up for me. I watched my dogs on camera sit anxiously in a cage for 2 days. They were let out for less than 10 minutes a couple of times each day. I watched staff walk by their kennel over and over those days while my dogs just sat there anxious. I contacted them again and asked please again because I could see my Dane getting anxious. He is not anxious by nature but he was beginning to pace between his bed and the front of the kennel. Was told again they'd have to wait. I watched my dogs get 8 minutes to go to the bathroom around 6:30pm and the next time they got out was after 8 am the next day. I've never seen a kennel make animals wait 14 hours between bathroom breaks. Sometime on Monday my dogs were evaluated and given daycare out of their kennel. Each day they were out of their kennel several hours. Again, each night they went over 12 hours without a bathroom break. Once they were allowed out I was sent three pictures on one occasion. Pictures were the least of my concerns, but again was told it was a miscommunication. I'm not sure how some of the reviews for this place are so good when our experience was so incredibly poor and lacking in basic compassion for an animals wellbeing. Upon pick up, charges did not match what we were told repeatedly. Nothing was what it was supposed to have been. I'm very thankful my dogs came home fine and unharmed. This facility lost our pet. I just went to speak with the manager Starla and at first she refused to see me. When I stated that I would wait as long as I needed to speak to her in person she became available. I was going to ask her to fill the hole that another dog had dug properly because they never filled it correctly and that is how my dog got out. Update... See Below!! So not a really good start thus far. I booked my dog in over a month out because we have to go out of town. Figured we'd stop by and take a look to make sure it's a good place for our dog who is a formerly abused rescue. They tell us they don't do tours without an appointment... really? Just to take a look at the facility? And then I see a sign on the desk that as of March 1 they require a K9 influenza vaccine. Nothing on the website about that. They were just going to let me show up and then not let us leave our dog with a flight to catch because of a non-essential vaccine? I guess we'll see how it goes from here... subject to change my review and star rating. Update!!! I just had a very nice conversation with the General Manager Starla. Got to say, it was the best customer service conversation I have had with any business in many years! She explained why they book tours (mostly liability... completely clear the halls... although I'm not sure about that... I want to see how it's run and how the animals are actually treated when I go someplace like this). She also explained that the vaccine policy was not hers but a corporate mandate. And while it probably will have to be mandatory in the near future, since I had booked previously and wasn't informed about it before hand that my pet would be fine coming in and we wouldn't be turned away. She also said that she would work to get all this on the website so people would be forewarned, which was one of my issues to begin with. I get rules and I follow them... when I know about them before hand! I'm upping my score to 4 stars pending my pooch's stay. This review is about grooming only. We have not used the other services. This is the second time we have had our dog groomed. The first time the cut was just ok but we figured the groomer would have a learning curve. This time we look written instructions and pictures. The groomer assured us "her" book was the same. Our 2 year old bouvier looks like a poodle with a terrier face. Needless to say we are not going back and the dog is being cut all one length so her coat can grow back. The management that took our call said they knew nothing about the grooming side of the business. read more

Just recently went to the Dallas area to visit family and we wanted Mila to be watched because our agenda was pretty packed. So we dropped her off for doggy day care for 2 days in a row and we were thoroughly impressed. We called one day in advance and they were able to book her for the next morning which was a Friday. The facility is very clean and quiet when you walk in. They close at 8:30pm so it gave us plenty of time to spend with family without feeling worried. For a full day of day care it's only $30! We asked that Mila not interact with any dogs during "play time" because we like to supervise her interactions with dogs which was no problem. We just said quick walks was all she needed because she is very low maintenance. We picked her up at the end of the day and she was exhausted and happy to see us which is such a great sign. So we decided to bring her back the next day for a half day which is only $20 for 5 hrs! When we picked her up for day two she had just come in from a walk and was even more exhausted than the first day! Overall we enjoyed our doggy day care experience here. Mila really likes the employees at this facility and when we're in town in the future, we will definitely be bringing her here! Highly recommend! read more

Extremely disappointed with the facility. They lost our dog and didn't notify us until almost 20 hours later. They said they had called both the primary and secondary numbers but neither one of those phones had any record of a call from them. We were told our dog dug out under a cinder block wall. Our dog is not a digger and certainly not able to dig under a block wall. We were told our dog was wandering around the area but when the workers tried to get her she would run away from them!! No kidding!!! On the phone call we finally received they tried to say they were looking for our dog until 2am then again at 4 am. But no one ever followed her because she just kept running away from them. We were never called during this time and we had not left for our vacation and could have got her. Scarla ended the conversation with this is where we are at! We hope she will come back to the facility! We were 2,000 miles away and we discussed amongst ourselves that someone would find her and call us because her collar has our phone number and info on it. We had our son pick up our other dog from the facility because we didn't want anything to happen to him. As they were giving him to my son they reached into a basket and gave him his collar.!!! My son asked why was he not wearing his collar and are told they remove all collars and put on a temp collar. We were absolutely appalled and now our little dog is out with nothing to identify her. The temp collar was found in the field across from the facility. When we returned from our trip we walked the exterior of the facility and saw the hole where she got out from. This hole has been there for some time as there are weeds growing out of it, and it is just filled in with what's looks to be small gravel!! This facility is very expensive and we have boarded our dogs there many times. It was so concerning to us about the GROSS NEGLIGENCE on the part of the facility and the complete lack of concern on their part. We were told by Scarla that they would wave the charges for the few hours she was in the facility!! Really!!! Do you think we care about the charges!!! We were asked by Scarla what else would you like us to do!! We replied. FIND OUR DOG THAT YOU LOST, and how could you have not followed her and got her when you saw her!!! I hope everyone who reads this post will think before they board their dogs there! It is a terrible situation for us to be in and heartbreaking to think our little dog was out and probably ended up being attacked by coyotes or other wild animals. This facility has one job. That is to take care of our animals and they failed miserably! We do not feel we have ever been given the truth about the situation and I am sure we will never know! They did nothing. Dint call animal control, did not follow her, did not call us in a timely manner, did not help with the search until my boys started looking for her about 3 hours after we were finally called. This was almost 24 hours after she was missing!! I hope this does not happen to anyone else and you definitely do not give them your business. Gross negligence on their part and for a business that has one job. They failed miserably and broke the hearts of our family. The owner and management of this business should be fired and hopefully no one will continue to do business with them! I wouldn't even give 1 star but had no choice. I brought my beautiful Australian shepherd here for grooming, said I want a summer cut and showed the groomer and text a photo of a dog that looked just like mine so they could see how to trim him. I even said do not shave my dog it's not healthy he has an undercoat, just a shorter summer cut. Their paperwork they gave me and I signed even warns about shaving dogs. They tell me he's ready take my money and then bring my dog out and I wanted to cry, the groomer shaved him!!! I didn't recognize him! They nicked him with the razor as well he was hurting from that all night when I brought him home. You can't talk to a manager no one called me back. Can't find the owners name anywhere. I am praying his hair grows back. She did this purposely there's no other explanation, I don't understand. Do not take your dog there I just want to warn others about this. read more

In our search for a boarding facility for our 2 Great Danes we decided on this place & we are pleased with them. On our first visit we were given information at the front desk. We decided to take the next step & schedule an evaluation & tour. When we arrived on evaluation day each pup was assessed separately. I appreciated the staff taking the time to allow each pup to get comfortable with them in the lobby before taking them back. They made sure our dogs were comfortable every step of the way & our dogs quickly made friends with the other pups! We were then given a tour of the facility, our main interest was finding a suite that would accommodate our 2 very large dogs. We found the Luxury suite to be plenty of room for not only them to be housed together but their big orthopedic beds & raised feeders as well. We also learned that they have an organized system & would accommodate our spoiled puppies feeding requests. This place checked all the boxes for us! We decided to make a future appointment for an overnight stay & all day play. When I dropped them off we were greeted warmly, their items were checked in with them & the staff made me feel so good about leaving them. I checked the doggie cam throughout their stay, it was nice to peek in whenever I was thinking of my fur babies. I picked them up just before closing & the checkout process was as smooth as drop off. They were happy pups & now that we are home I can tell they played all day, they are already asleep! So glad we found people & a place that we can feel good leaving our gentle giants with. read more

We took our 2 pups here over the 4th of July weekend for a 2 night stay. They stayed in one of the premium suites which was very spacious and allowed them room to play around. We were also able to watch them through the doggie cam which we loved. The workers are more than willing to provide special accommodations or requests depending on your pet's needs or preferences. We have reached out to the owner(s) of Elite Suites Pet Resort multiple times now to talk to you regarding the death of our Lab a few day after a lengthy stay at your Heath location and we have not received a single call or email back. This is very unprofessional to say the least. How on earth your staff cannot recognize that our dog was so sick (and needed urgent medical attention) is beyond comprehension. We have information and vet reports and we would like to talk with the owners ASAP. read more

When we picked them up, my dogs were filthy, their crates were filthy. They'd been in mud. I only saw 10 min breaks on the camera, never could time extended play time outdoors. If you are going here for the first time with more than 1 dog make sure you get an estimate of cost. Bring your own food. They have a penalty if you pickup the dog "late." We learned all this the hard way. This place did not suit my situation and it was not cheap! read more

I am so sorry to read these bad reviews. I was planning on calling them this week for a reservation for my 2 babies but after reading these I am feeling like I need to reconsider. I will say that I have boarded my dogs there several times and other than a few glitches with the video situation I did not have any issues. The staff was friendly and helpful. I felt comfortable when I left there that they would be well taken care of. It is disturbing to read the negative comments and if there is anyone out there who can share their experiences here I would love to read your comments. In the meantime I will be researching alternatives. Dave, thank you for responding. I have now reconsidered and went in yesterday to make reservations for Spooky And Fancy in December. When I walked in I was greeted by a very nice girl and I am sorry to say I neglected to get her name. I expressed my concerns and after talking with her a bit I decided to go ahead with my reservation. I am hoping for a good experience as I have had in the past. I write this review with a heavy heart. I boarded my 2 dogs in a luxury suite for 5 nights and will never take them to this facility again. I tried an overnight stay ahead of time for 1 night and did a tour of the facility before that. Everything seemed ok so I felt like they would be ok for a longer stay. The first problem I had was my reservation was confirmed for 7am drop off and I had to be at the airport by 8:30 am. The staff did not show up until 7:50am and told me they open at 8am on Saturday. The 2nd problem was I observed on camera they did not have beds and I paid for the top suite which should have included 2 orthopedic beds in wrought iron frames. I called and asked them, and they said they would put beds in. The facility put little matts in. I went an entire day without camera access and when I called to notify them, they said it was too late for IT to fix that night, but it would be fixed in the morning. I already planned on discussing these issues with the manager when I went to pick them up. I called when I got back in town to make sure they had their baths and were ready and I was told they were not scheduled for baths and they would not have time to do it. I booked baths at time of booking and the staff confirmed the baths at drop off. At this point I expressed my extreme frustration. I received a call from the manager who tried to fix the situation by giving them baths and giving a discount on the stay. The last straw was when I picked them up and they returned the leftover food. I received more than half the food back that I brought. This broke my heart. I carefully wrote out instructions for feeding and provided dry and refrigerator food along with snacks. One of the large containers of food was completely wasted and leaking everywhere. My heart was absolutely broken. I would not board your fur babies here if you are expecting good care. read more

We've never left our dog anywhere until today. We've only had housesitters! We were very happy with the service and very happy that our dog seemed to enjoy it so much. They did lose our paperwork but that's absolutely no big deal completing it again. We also asked that our dogs nails be cut when we had him in daycare today and the groomer did a fantastic job! He's a 100 pound German Shepherd but he's our baby and we are very happy to have found elite suites. Will use them next time see go on a trip. Only complaint is that I REALLY want the live video feed to work and it did not. read more

I have been taking my 3 dogs here for grooming for YEARS. My experience with the staff has always been positive and I've always felt comfortable dropping them off. However, today was a terrible experience. I followed the instructions by texting my name and parking spot and saw a staff member look out the window and then walk away. 15 minutes later, the same employee came out to my car and asked me if I was there for an appointment (why else would I be sitting in their parking lot with 2 dogs in the backseat???). She immediately started to unzip the carrier for one of my two small dogs, IN THE PARKING LOT, instead of taking the carrier inside. I was barely able to stop her since this would have been the equivalent of throwing my dog in front of a truck. She didn't apologize, got snarky with me and then roughly dropped each soft carrier, with the dogs inside, into her lobby. I should have just grabbed the dogs and ran right then but I decided to continue with the process and go home and wait for a call that they were done. A few minutes later, I get a call from the same rude employee who is now happily telling me to come back and get one dog because his vaccinations are out of date. I explained that they were both taken to the vet two days earlier and they are current. She wouldn't listen to me at all and I finally suggested that she just call the vet to confirm this, even though I emailed them the records already (I mean...they are the ones trying to get and keep business right?). She rudely said "ok" and then HUNG UP ON ME. Well, apparently the quick call was all it took to resolve the issue because both dogs were groomed. When I went back to pick up the dogs, I texted my name and parking spot again. The same employee who initially wanted to let my dogs run out into the street came out. She acted like she'd never seen me before, like I hadn't JUST texted her my name and parking spot and then asked if I was there dropping off or picking up an animal??? I answered, gave her my checkcard and told her to please add $10 per dog for a tip to the total. She disappears and then another employee comes out and asks me if I want to add a tip??? I should have said no at this point but this male employee was initially professional and friendly so I just repeated what I had already told the initial employee. When this male employee brought my dogs out, I tried to explain the issues I'd had with the female employee. He told me that I have to be professional at all times???? So...apparently the female employee DID remember me and told this employee that I was unprofessional??? I couldn't believe that I was the one being asked to be professional after what I dealt with in the past few hours! I will never return here or recommend anyone else go here for ANYTHING. This goes to show how it only takes one bad employee to risk the reputation of what I thought was a great facility. read more

After a doing a little research and a recommendation from a local pet store , I decided to try out the day care for our sweet girl . We don't ever leave her with just anyone! So I was a little nervous . When I pulled in to the ESPR I was pleasantly surprised how nice it was . Plus , they have an awesome dog treat bakery and a store inside ! And I really appreciated the automatic doors when entering. That made life with a dog so much easier ! That was brilliant ! Upon entering , I was greeted by two of the sweetest ladies . They were so helpful . I needed some help gathering shot records and they were more than happy to assist me . While I was standing there filling out the forms , there was several opportunities for me to ask other customers If their dogs liked it there . It was a unanimous " (s)he loves it here !!!" I also was there when someone dropped their dog off with a long list of instructions . They diligently wrote it all down . So, I left "my girl" . Our " kid " She stayed for about 4 hours . Half way through her stay I called and checked on her and they gave me a full report on how her day was going . She's an English Bulldog and can't tolerate extreme heat . Something we always worry about in Texas .. I was happy to hear when all the rest of the dogs went outside to play , she stayed inside and no one made her go outside . I picked her up after 4 hours of fun and she was/is exhausted!!! In fact , she's still in bed at noon !!! I am planning on boarding her there next month for a few days . While she is there I will be able to view her online to see what she's doing . That is a wonderful relief . This is definitely an A++ facility . They run a tight ship there ! read more

Let me preface by saying we brought our 5 month old yellow lab here for boarding for the weekend. We didn't have a full book of plans for the weekend and basically wanted to try out this facility for future boarding; that being said we had plenty of time to watch the camera that they put on your dogs kennel. This review is only referencing Elite's boarding services. We are more than disappointed with the care our puppy received, especially for a place that charges $50 a night. If your boarding exceptions for your dog are for them to have no interaction with other dogs or even staff for that matter then this is the right place for you. Dropping our puppy off for the weekend we learned that she would not be able to participate in daycare because she is not spayed (even though most vets want you to wait until 6 months to spay your dog and she has shown zero signs of starting her cycle). When learning about this we asked if she would at least have staff interaction or time alone to play (as the website states that dogs get several trips outside during the day to play in one of 6 yards). In watching the camera our puppy was only let out every 4-5 hours or so and anywhere from 3-12 minutes... how is that long enough for a dog to play and get some energy out, let along go to the bathroom?!? A majority of the time when she came back in from being "let outside" she would go to the bathroom in her kennel within 15 minutes because she wasn't given enough time outside to go.. On Saturday night she was let out at 7:59 and came back to her kennel at 8:03 and that was her last chance to go outside before "lights out" at 10pm, when staff returns at approximately 6 am the next morning. When staff came in her kennel to clean it or to drop her food off they rarely took even one minute to pet her or show her any kind of attention, it was open the door, place the dish down and walk out. Maybe I just have too high of expectations paying $50 a night for boarding but I would think that employees who work here would love animals and would want to spend a little time with them. I'm not sure what other tasks employees have to do during the day but there was a point in time watching the camera that TWO HOURS had passed by and not one employee was seen even walking through the kennels to check on pets. We will never bring our dog back here and we hope that if you love your dogs and want them to cared for and treated like family that you won't take them here either. Maybe all the employees attention goes to the daycare dogs and that service is better because of it, we are not sure but for boarding I would save some money and find another facility. We did end up cutting our trip short and came back home so that she wouldn't have to stay here any longer. read more

I have been boarding my dog and getting her groomed at elite suites in Heath since they opened years ago but the quality has definitely gone down. I got my schnauzer mix groomed today and I am very unhappy with the experience. First when the groom comes out she is carrying a torn up nylon rope leash that looked like it should have been thrown away 10 years ago. Not a very high end appearance. The groomer was not very friendly and I was actually nervous about handing my dog over to her. The previous groomer was so friendly and my dog loved her. My dog was very matted so I told the groomer she might need to shaved more than normal to get rid of the mats. When I picked her up she had been completely shaved all over her entire body even her tail and it was very choppy looking. Now she looks like a big rat instead of a schnauzer. Then I got the bill. $75 to groom an 11 lb. dog and a bad grooming job at that. That's $20 more than I paid 6 months ago. On top of that the receptionist asked me if I wanted to leave gratuity. Not for that haircut!! I won't be back. They have lost a long standing customer. I don't know what has happened to them but they are not the same as they were when they first opened and I will be finding another dog groomer. read more

We have taken our Lab to Elite Suites from the time they opened in Rockwall. We have boarded her overnight and also we take her to doggie day care often. She always gets very excited when we take her. She has never had any problems and comes home happy and exhausted from playing. We have watched her on the live web cam and she seem content and relaxed. read more

Booking issues (desk staff unqualified), the inability to keep quality groomers on staff, sick pet after 3 stay overs, poor management and declining storefront appearance have caused me to break company with Elite Suites after 15 plus years. I arrived yesterday for a grooming appointment that was booked in May only to be told, "somehow your appointment got cancelled." The girl at the front desk made the excuse that they got a new computer system. (Elite Suites FB page states they received that new system way back in April.) I asked to see the owner, Kelly, as I have had interactions with her over the many years I have been a client. Kelly was on property, but chose not to come to the lobby. Instead, she sent out her GM to relay another storyline. The GM did not mention the new computer system, but shared her excuse that they had to fire a groomer for not treating the animals well. I stated that I could understand the firing of a bad employee, but I asked why I had not been contacted to reschedule. The GM said they "either sent me a text or left me a voicemail". I knew that neither of those things were true so I asked for evidence to support her claim. Naturally, there was no documentation to show that they made any attempt to contact me. In fact, the contact number for me that had been on file for the last 15 years was not even in their new system when she looked at my account. This was the second time I arrived for an appointment only to find out that ES did not have me on the books. I have tried over many years to give ES the benefit of the doubt when things were not right, but for the opening reasons stated, and the fact that I was blatantly lied to has caused me to take my business elsewhere. read more

If I could I would give this place -5 stars. Every time I put my dogs in this place after one day coming home they start being very sick. The first time, my family went on a vacation con 7 days when we came back one of our dogs was very sick. He was vomiting like crazy. We took him to the vet in it turned up he had to get surgery that costs us almost $3000.00 because he ate an eyeball from a toy. The second time again the same dog was having very bad diarrhea. I thought those two were just coincidences, but not is even a third time. Last Tuesday we just came back from vacation, right about when we got home my little Labrador was peeing all over the house, which it was very estrange because she was potty train already. The next morning when I took the outside to potty I found out both of my dogs were having diarrhea, but on one of the it was pretty bad. It was basically water. I called the place and I asked them if something happened to the little one because she was peeing everywhere and their response was "well they pee on their suits maybe that's why she is peeing everywhere" they pee on their suits? Really? We pay a lot of money to this place to take care of our dogs, I least take them outside to go potty. No wonder why every time I pick them up smells like shit. I also asked the lady if they feed something to my dogs that they should not because they were having diarrhea, and she said not, which I don't believe. Last night my big Labrador was having a very bad diarrhea and this morning he started vomiting. I have to take him to the vet because I love him and I don't want nothing to happen to him but it's ridiculous how every time I put my dogs and this place they were coming home sick. My recommendation is if you want to keep your dogs healthy and good conditions don't take them to this shitty place. Your doggies are gonna suffer the consequences.
