I came across this food truck at a swim meet and it was pretty good! I wish it came with a little more food. I know Tapa is small dishes so I shouldn't complain on that. Overall it was tasty, but I wish I had gotten the Paella to be more full.

Very good food. I could not appreciate its freshness because I was saving the paella for the next day. I can't wait to have it fresh!

Then nothing happened. The few servers moved slowly and although they passed near our table on several occasions, none had the courtesy to even tell us, "Someone will be with you shortly" or something. Thankfully, the runner who seated us, (a kind and helpful gentlemen who got a separate tip) noticed and got Daniel to visit our table. My gin martini was excellent and the water was cold. We ordered several plates, which arrived rather quickly. The homemade hummus with the carrots and pickled onions was fantastic. We'd take creamy and delicious hummus like that any day. The deviled eggs were wonderful and came with an extra kick thanks to the jalapeno. Gnocchi with parmesan, carrots, and asparagus was creamy, comforting, and filling. The lamb over hummus, with their rich homemade gravy, rivaled any amazing lamb dish I had anywhere. The portions were phenomenal. I have been to places that give half as much with the same prices. The chef and kitchen staff are incredible. We'll definitely return to try new dishes but we hope the service is much improved.

For taste, promptness and courtesy of service (ask for Jessica by name) value and most of all by taste, Isabella's knows just what its doing and it delights with every mouthful. The three-tapas lunch special wowed us beyond all reasonable expectations for taste, imaginative diversity of flavors and value. Portions are generous and you cannot go wrong with what you choose. I will say maybe they had so many staff members because they were doing training as different people came by our small table each time to ask questions and deliver the two items. But because with the influx of people, it seemed like there were like 10 people all just hanging around the bar waiting for customers and just very talkative. The bathroom here is very clean and nice to use the facilities. I am not a beer drinker, and the Baltimore beer I was splitting with my husband, was different... rimming it with old bay (yuk!). My husband said it was refreshing with a unique taste but wasn't for him or for me. We were not offered to switch it out so he suffered through. The mac and cheese was the same way, different, and not for everybody. Our little didn't like it and she is a mac and cheese connoisseur. We ended up leaving over half the dish there (again no one checked on us to see if we were satisfied with it). We flagged down someone to pay the check, so we could get back on the road. I think the prices were outrageous for what you get. I understand if the quality was greater or the experience was greater but the portions and what you got were, in my opinion, don't aligned. I just feel like the experience could've been better for a Middleburg restaurant or beer hall.

I've been multiple times and genuinely have not had one thing I didn't like. The tuna melt, wings, collard greens, bowls, pastries, lattes, cocktails...everything is consistently a 9 or 10 out of 10. But what makes Mama Koko's even more special is the experience. The owners and staff are incredibly warm, down-to-earth, and welcoming. It feels like going to your mama's or auntie's house, sitting down with your cousins, eating good food, and just enjoying everything that is Black greatness. The music, art, style, culture, and energy are all part of it. They feature local artists, the soul, R&B and hip-hop are always playing, everybody is fly, and the whole space just feels GOOD. Amazing food, amazing drinks, amazing people, amazing atmosphere. Mama Koko's is Baltimore at its best.

I had to move our plates to an empty table just to clear it. Late night menu: I ordered the vegan bowl. The yams and greens were really good. The rest of the bowl items were okay. I also ordered fried plantains, which were basic, but decent nothing special... The beans were seasoned well and shockingly good, the rice was just plain white rice... Vibe 5 stars... indoor and outdoor seating It appears to be an every age group type of environment. No tvs, forcing everyone to socialize which was cool... the only down side is the music is too loud to actually hold conversations inside when there is a DJ. Street parking is available.

I could tell from other conversations throughout the restaurant that the other servers were equally kind to their patrons. The decor is beautiful! I feel like I don't usually see restaurants with such a strong aesthetic in the Fulton area. I think the ambiance created by the decor definitely heightened my experience. Now, for the food. What we ordered: - Traditional Country Spinach Pie - Falafel - Spicy Lamb Beef Dip - Grilled Octopus - Grilled Salmon - Chicken Tenderloin - Athenian Shrimp The spinach pie and falafel were standard; good, but nothing to write home about. The spicy lamb dip was my party's favorite mezze. I feel that Cypriana does meats very well (especially the grilled ones). But the dishes were brought down by the sides. The grilled salmon, octopus, and chicken were all delicious! However, the red quinoa mixture tasted incredibly earthy. I did not enjoy it, but some healthier members of my party did haha. The chicken and fries was probably the best pairing (and child-approved!). Regarding the "Athenian Shrimp": Upon some research, I believe this is the restaurant's interpretation of Garides Saganaki. The restaurant served the sauce on a bed of pilaf. From my understanding, shrimp saganaki is more commonly (not exclusively) eaten as a dip with bread. Of course, there's no "wrong" way to serve anything, but the rice paired with the Athenian Shrimp was incredibly moist to the point of distraction. The sauce was very good, but I found myself eventually eating around the rice because the wet texture was so off-putting. I think the sauce would have been better paired with a pasta, pita, or baguette.
