She helped them navigate various aspects of relocating our loved one, the pros and cons of different senior living communities and really highlighted the quality care provided by her staff. What ultimately sold us on this community was the memory care. We decided that it would be best to choose a community that had assisted living and memory care in one building so, if the time ever came, it would be a smoother transition should that level of care be needed. Although the building is a bit older, it is well taken care of and has a beautiful courtyard for residents and families to enjoy. The network of friends they developed over the years is still such a source of joy. Mom was able to stay in the apartment while my father battled Parkinson's disease. She remained there until her stroke in Spring 2026. She was cared for in Park Vista Skilled Nursing by an amazing nursing staff and a team of therapists that literall got her back on her feet. She has just completed her move to Park Vista Assisted Living where she now has a whole new team working with her. The support from all levels of management and staff from marketing to reception has been personal, always helpful and positive. They have been supportive of our parents as they have transitioned through various levels of care never wavering from there commitment to high standards. Clearly, my parents selecting Morningside has made our lives as their children much easier; especially when you see the friendships developed, activities encouraged and care each resident receives. This includes managing my mother's numerous medications. They also work hard to create a social environment with residents sharing meals and activities when possible. Through recent renovations, they have created a beautiful and warm environment for the residents. This includes the addition of new flooring, paint, furniture, plumbing fixtures and additional lighting. They also have added exterior cameras and sensors to ensure the security of the residents. Aria makes sure that all rooms, clothing and bedding are cleaned regularly. My mom enjoys the freshly made meals that are cooked on the premises by the staff. Well planned meals are served three times a day. They make sure my mother receives food tailored to her health needs. Another big plus is that my mom is part of the Providence-St. Jude Health system. She is now only a few files away from her doctors' offices and St. Jude Hospital.

They are sincere in their intentions and really do put the residents and their quality of life first. Though I don't know the staff personally I can tell the owners are committed to care and compliance. This is what you want in a good RCFE. Going through placement of a loved one can be an emotional roller coaster. I've seen the worst come out in some family members when mom or dad start to decline. Sadly, it's a common trend to blame others when they can't regain original conditions of health in said loved ones. I would place my own mom here. Side note: My mom had lived here before but due to finances we moved her out last year to another less expensive facility. What we learned is "you get what you pay for." In this season when our elderly loved ones are being isolated from family, they need a place that recognizes that and does everything they can to keep their minds and bodies active. My grandma has lived on her own for as long as I can remember... in her own house doing her own…read morecooking and cleaning. She's a wonderful, independent, intelligent and bright woman with all her faculties and wits still about her. She's almost 95! Grandma is picky and only likes certain foods and has a bit of OCD when it comes to the way things should be and with cleanliness. Heck, she's done her own thing for over 45 years, do you blame her! She's got every right to do it her way. A few months ago, she had a little health set-back and to just keep things safe while family was out of town for a long length of time, my parents decided to have her stay here for "just a month or two" to be watched over while they were out of town. I don't think she was there more than just a day when she announced that she loved it at the Villa and wanted to make it permanent! What!!?? That was awesome news!!! We wouldn't have to worry about her being home alone ever again. Since that first proclamation of love, she has rarely made any comments as to being unhappy with her new permanent living arrangement. She loves the food, loves the views and is perfectly content with every aspect. We wish she'd go play Bingo or Yahtzee with the others, but she's her own woman and used to spending her days doing what she wants. It took her a bit of adjusting to consider it a forever place, but she did just fine and has made it her home... both physically and mentally. They keep her room cleaned, any complaints are addressed and meals have been more than adequate for her and her picky tastes and likes. She's thrilled! There are several floors of residents all in different states of mind, body and life. The hallways are clear and clean. The staff is always tending to the Villa; cleaning, checking on residents and keeping things tip top. The front desk staff have always greeted me and my family with a smile and even remember who we are there to see. They even know her likes and dislikes too. Grandma loves her digs and I haven't seen her this happy (consistently) in a long time. She's back to being a happy lady again and enjoying her golden years in a peaceful, clean and enjoyable home. What we found out about the new owner/management is that they are raising rent considerably. They are not recognizing any pre-existing rent contracts, which actually may be illegal. We are still looking into it. Long story short they are chasing out all those who cannot afford the new high rent, in order to bring in those who can afford it. Many people will be leaving as a result. They are heartless and the culture barrier does not help with communication. Do not even consider this place.
