We needed a new garbage disposal installed because we just bought a house and we were told the current garbage disposal wasn't working - we originally booked the service through Lowe's, which ended up being a nightmare and we were rescheduled about 8 different times without any concrete date of when the service would actually be completed. We decided to call The Pampering Plumber, as they're right down the street from us and we'd passed their sign several times on our drives around town. The technician showed up on time, looked at our garbage disposal and let my husband know that it actually needed a reset - he was able to help us with our problem within 10-15 minutes and saved us hundreds of dollars on unnecessary work that we had been told by another company was needed. BUYERS BEWARE! This company does not stand up for their service or products they sell you. Replaced a 17 yr old water heater from The Pampering Plumbing in 2017 that Art installed. Only for it to go bad 2 yrs later! Eddie came out and had to replace the whole unit which was under warranty but charged me $349 service call. Sunday 11.16.25 this water heater leaked flooding my gargage. I called the emergency number, spoke with Eddie who told me he would have to charge me for a whole new water heater if he came out but advised me to turn off the water and call the owner in morning to help resolve. This water heater is 6 years old and not only did Pampering Plumber not come out the day of the emergency, but then they did not offer any cost effective solution or take responsibility on the default product that they sold us. read more

Not even 1 star. They are horrible. Sent a cigarette drenched tech to service my water softener. It didn't cycle for months. NO SALT USED. I called and said I think something was wrong - no cycling in months. They said: "the tech said all is fine". If I want him to look at it again it will cost another visit / service fee. I did. He came out and DID NOTHING. I knew it wasn't working. I called again. These BANDITS wanted more money. If I was going to PAY AGAIN, I was going to have professionals come. I did. I had Albert Water come out. It was totally not time right, and they corrected immediately. It was known that Pampering Plumber i notorious for this lack of skill. The system works great now. Need a new hot water heater? I can recommend The Pampering Plumber in a heartbeat. Our unit had a slow leak, and after owning it for 8 years, it needed to be replaced. I called Pampering Plumber, and the next day, the receptionist set up an appointment for a plumber to come out and assess the situation. Eddie Gause was our plumber, and he was fantastic. We had been thinking of having a tankless water heater installed, but Eddie explained to us why that product would not be the best for us at this time. The company's price would be around $2200 for the best product, which was what we wanted. Eddie could have taken our money, but knew tankless was not what we should get for various reasons. He had the perfect opportunity to put a lot more money into the pocket of his company, but he stood behind the integrity of the the company. He informed us why a traditional hot water heater would be best for us and installed it. The price was about $1000 less than a tankless heater. The install went great. Eddie was personable and efficient. He knew exactly what needed to be done and did a wonderful job. He cleaned up the whole area and was on his way. Never again! We called to make an appointment for a new water heater estimate (they charge $69 for an estimate) and we told them that a 25' ladder would be required to reach the unit. They acknowledged this request. I drove from Clearwater to Spring Hill (1.5 hour drive each way) to meet the plumber. He called me and said he would arrive within the hour. A few minutes later the office called and said they're not allowed to use a tall ladder, sorry, and hung up on me. Worst customer service ever! read more

Do no use these people. Call a reputable plumber and get a second estimate. The Pampering Plumber price will be 2, 3, 4 times higher. I believe they have been taking advantage of my widowed mother. They charged my mom $628 to clear a clogged kitchen sink. A few weeks later the nearest bathroom to the kitchen had a toilet with repeat flushing issues. They were going to charge her another $300 + with no guarantee it would not be more to fix it. I found out and called their office eventually talking with Brett who just gave me the run around claiming they just bill customary charges based on some book. I told him I felt they were taking advantage of my elderly mom and should be reported to the sheriff's office. I requested their plumber leave and not return. Called a Palm Harbor plumber that I have used in the past. They came out and fixed the toilet issue, snaking the main line from the roof vent all the way to the septic tank. She was charged $150 + $20 travel fee as she was outside of their regular service area. read more

Terrible! At a friend's house when a technician came in to service her toilet. Technician came in and asked if on septic...stated yes... he says she needs to call a septic company. AND THEN CHARGED HER $59!!! That was it! Did nothing else! Then he proceeded to argue about what she should have said when she called to set the appointment! I am glad I was there to see this ... All I wanted was for them to come out (since they were the ones who put the system in) to verify that the water softener was off?! They charged me $59.00?!! to stand there and tell me "Yes, it was off"?!! Seriously?!! Not to mention, it was set on "20"?!! instead of where it is suppose to be at "12"?! No wonder there was way too much salt going through my pipes and appliances... my washer & dryer are showing signs of rust now?! Just WOW! I called and spoke with Amber to schedule a consultation for a new soft water treatment system. She was very professional and kind. John T. came out to my home (on time) and first walked me through the most important part of my experience which was educating me on where to find all of my shut off valves throughout the home. After all of my questions were addressed, John and I went inside my home and he proceeded to test my water quality and why it was so important to have a softener system. I was able to schedule my installation within the same week of John coming out to my house. The night before installation I was making room in my garage for the new system and I accidentally dropped a very large kayak onto my water pipes. Needless to say, I broke my pipes! Water started gushing out of my wall! THANKFULLY because of John showing me where the shut off valve was at, I was able to quickly turn my water off. I left a message first thing in the morning (day of the softener installation scheduled at 11am). I received a called back and was advised not to stress, (because I was!) they would be out ASAP to take care of my mess. Josh and Danny were at my house by 8:45am to help me. They were both so kind and professional! They fixed my mess and installed my awesome new water softener and RO system in no time at all. We have used Pampering Plumber for years and have been relatively okay with their company. They have always been on the high end of charges for services. Over the last year we have been experiencing frequent clogs on the main sewer line from a new addition to our home. They would come out, snake it, then be on their way. No rhyme or reason to how they charged us. It would be mostly in the $200-300 range. The last time they came out they charged us over $500, but could never answer why our line kept getting clogged or why their charge for coming out doubled. In a previous visit they put a video camera in the pipe and said they thought there was some grout that was causing the blockage but never offered to fix the main problem. Two weeks ago the line became clogged again. We called Clearwater Plumbing on a recommendation and I got more help over the phone from Mike than from the 6 visits from PP. They came over and completely cleared the line of hundreds of broken up pieces of grout that were creating a complete blockage of the line. Don't ever let contractors clean their tiling tools in your sink!! Problem solved no thanks to PP. read more

I can't say enough great things about this company. It was Sunday when we noticed a leak coming from the wall inside our garage. Eddie, their service tech answered the "after hours" call and said he can be over in 1-hour. 50 minutes later, he arrived and was working on our leak. I found Eddie to be extremely courteous and efficient. He detected where the leak was coming from within a few minutes and it was completely repaired within an hour or so. I can't recommend these guys enough- you will definitely feel Pampered with their great service! toilet not working. told need new toilet. $428.00 2 days later same thing happened, offered to send tech to put camera to see if something clogged, did not want this because problem intermittent. one week later another toilet not flushing, I called septic tank company and was told this is due to all the heavy rains and it will subside and do not call a plumber, I called pampering plumber and spoke to brett, I asked for a rebate because sold a toilet for no reason. he said no rebates. he agreed this problem happens with heavy rains. why did they sell me a toilet if they knew this. ? read more
