Just about 3 stars. Typical old school american diner. Lots of choices like salads, hot and cold sandwiches, main courses with me, omelets for breakfast, cereal, breakfast plates, mexican stuff, cereal and the usual options to drink, with burgers. My brother and I ordered the Bruncho, the Huevos Rancheros and a hot chocolate and raspberry iced tea to go with them. Both plates were super salty. The sauce they both had, was the same, and that's what was really salty. My actual sopapilla was decent and the stuffing inside (potatoes, egg, peppers, ham) was good. There were pieces of chicken in the sauce which were ok. The hashbrowns were ok. The huevos rancheros honestly just looked like a plate of gravy, and not the usual colorful plate of fresh veggies, guac, a taco shell etc, I'm used to. Again, the saltiness of it kinda lowered the taste of the dish. The hot chocolate was too sweet but I liked that. The iced tea was good. They have the old time billing machine up front and I think have more recently added the credit card machine. Decent prices.

This restaurant is really good! I can see why it gets quite busy during lunch hours. I got two items: the chicken enchiladas as well as the veil. Chicken enchiladas: the chicken was quite tasty as it was not dry compared to other place's chicken. It was also smother in green chile which gave it a little kick. I also got the country fried veil (I do not remember exactly what it was called) but this was really good! The meat was juicy and smothered in cream gravy. I would definitely get these two dishes again. In addition the service was excellent. I will come here again!

Outstanding breakfast and friendly service! Good biscuits and gravy - with hash browns if you can believe it, and good fresh-squeezed OJ.

Pros: Walking in the hostess was helping another couple but did acknowledge us. She went to sit the couple and another staff apologized and said that she will be right with us. We were sat outside and immediately were given water. Our waiter, who I can't remember his name, talked to us and took our drink order. My husband ordered a beer and me an iced tea. He gave us a few minutes before coming back to take our order. We started with the green chili fries and when they came out they were very good. I do wish there was a little bit of spice to it, but not a con. I even ordered a cup of green chili with my shrimp tacos. And my husband ordered the slopper. I loved the shrimp tacos, that I got the lettuce instead of a tortilla. I would highly order and recommend. Husband loved the slipper. He said if you don't see the fries or bun, assume your eating it all. Our waiter is very knowledgeable and was quick with his recommendations. He answered a burger question when asked and took his time with us. We did not feel rushed. My husband also ordered a beer flight and found some he enjoyed. All the staff worked together and matched our personality. Well, my husband's personality. We ended up ordering 3 cups if green chili with their chips. The salsa had a nice kick, mild kick, because they added green chilis to it. It tasted home made. When we had a minor issue with the bill, our waiter took charge and without hesitation took to fix it. We of course had to order dessert. Our waiter came back within minutes to inform some of the desserts were sold out but offered a replacement. I got the peach pie and my husband got the chocolate cake. The peach pie was a perfect mini size Cons: My husband was surprised the manager wasn't walking around ensuring everything ran smoothly. I honestly don't see it as a con. Also, the parking lot is small and when it gets busy I can see walking from another block over. There are 3 spots for the hotel and 4 spots that are a 2 hour limit. Recommended? Absolutely yes. Great food and excellent staff. Everyone here is friendly and seems excited to help the customers. We will definitely be back. And maybe stay at the hotel and walk over to enjoy a hamburger or more shrimp tacos with a cup of green chili

Since we hadn't been here in five years, I mentioned to our waiter how much I was craving a bowl, and he went out of his way to make it happen. That level of service alone made the visit memorable. I also ordered the Velvet Smoke mezcal cocktail, and wow, it was exceptional. Smooth, perfectly balanced, and not too strong. The smoky notes were present but not overpowering, and the nixta slate liqueurs, or heat and bitters brought everything together beautifully. Great service, great drinks, and a team that's willing to go the extra mile. Definitely worth the stop.

I absolutely loved the scotch eggs! I skipped the Reuben bombs since I'm not a big Swiss cheese fan, but everyone else at the table really enjoyed them. I ordered the Jameson meatloaf with mashed potatoes and veggies, and it was amazing -- full of flavor and cooked perfectly. My husband and son both got the fish and chips and couldn't stop talking about how good they were. My daughter loved the kids hamburger, especially the potato chips/fries that came with it. The atmosphere was awesome, the service was top notch, and my husband and I both enjoyed a refreshing beer with lunch. We had such a hard time deciding what to order because so many things on the menu looked great, so we'll definitely be back to try more items. Highly recommend!

I'm just a tough on ratings. I had a couple beers, wife iced tea. For my wife the main menu didn't have anything she wanted... they let her get a grilled cheese off the kids menu. They had a Reuben on the menu, but I wasn't in the mood for the sauerkraut and the 1000 island dressing. They had no problem making it basically a corn beef and Swiss sandwich. All the food was good. The service is great. The people are friendly definitely recommended. Next time we're in trouble we'll probably go there again, and you should too.

What used to feel fun and welcoming now felt uncomfortable the second we walked up. The bouncers immediately gave off a creepy, unsettling vibe. They barely spoke, just made vague hand gestures while avoiding eye contact completely. When they did say something, it was mumbled so quietly you couldn't even understand them. Right from the entrance, the whole atmosphere felt off, but since it was my birthday and I'm newly single, my girlfriends and I decided to give it a chance and try to have a good night anyway. Inside, the place felt dead for a Saturday night. We went to the dance floor, and the only person dancing was an elderly woman who looked close to 80. The energy was nonexistent. The one bright spot of the night was the female bartender near the dance floor -- she was genuinely friendly and gave us the only positive interaction we had there. After that, we walked to the other side of the bar hoping maybe the vibe would improve, but it only got worse. There were barely any people there, almost all men, and the atmosphere became even more uncomfortable. The music was terrible, the crowd felt awkward, and the whole place had this strange, unfriendly energy that made us want to leave as quickly as possible. We finished our drinks and got out of there. Walking past those same creepy bouncers on the way out honestly felt like a relief. It's sad to see a place I used to love turn into somewhere that now feels so unwelcoming and uneasy.
