They have live music in the back room which is a cozy, tight space that pretty much ensures you'll make eye contact with the performers. I'm not sure if we just got lucky or if the talent is always that good but the two bands we saw were both so great in their own way. There's a great variety of genres and clientele. Finding seating in the main front area can be tough but there was plenty of seating in the music area and the back porch. This is the kind of place I want to become a regular at!

Williamsburg was still in the early innings of its transformation, with places like SEA already hinting at what was coming. At the same time, Calvin Harris was equally early in his journey, years before becoming a global, arena-filling superstar. In a venue that intimate, the sound was mind-boggling, the party was incredible, and there was a feeling that something much bigger was beginning even if none of us fully understood it yet. I was young, dumb, reckless, and wonderfully carefree, living through a refreshingly simple chapter before New York darkened my heart. That night remains legendary and, quite simply, absolutely incredible.

There's plenty of seating, and it feels very warm and cozy within. We had some of the ciders, which were a great flavor and taste. I also loved the decor behind the bar and also throughout the building. There's a yellow, comforting warmth throughout the space, something that I loved on a cold winter evening. From the entrance, there are no signs that indicate where the stage is, so you have to walk around a bit, but it's not difficult. The bowling lanes are straight ahead and there's a long bar. They have some cool looking cocktails, and the one that really caught my attention was a peanut butter espresso martini. For the longest, because I was afraid of how much it would be (it actually wasn't too bad), I resisted the urge, but after the concert, I got one and it was delicious, even though it was not jazzed up and looking fancy like a typical espresso martini. They put it in a plastic cup and that was pretty much it haha XD. Anyways, the concert was a blast, and it's awesome that we could literally stand right in front of the stage, no barriers or security with a gap. It was an awesome crowd, and even the some of the artists came into the crowd. Even though it's not the smallest space, that made it feel more intimate and it was a fun experience. Mikael the bartender is heavenly with the customer service and he maintains a cool vibe and deminur. Juice the manager is there from the start till closing and is very detailed oriented. Juice gets the job done no matter what situations arise. Juice layed back chill and runs around all night to handle every single detail. All the employees here should be commended as everyone here leads by example and it's a pleasure to finally be in a bar with no attitudes and pettiness. Kudos Brooklyn Art Haus.

It was very intimate space. There was a metal show going on at the same time in the music area. It made it difficult to say the least. The comics were already struggling in the jokes dept, the show inside made it even harder for them. Lol Outside of that, the drinks were good...the bartenders were a tiny bit slow, but they were nice. I'm sure I'll be back, but maybe not for the free comedy show.
