Making changes in my life this year for the better!
Barbara S.

I would first like to say this is my second time residing at Paramount 6 yrs & returned March 2019. A little disappointed quality of residential parties & food was not good & ran out too quickly. I would like to give accommodations to the staff: Lyta, Zynie, Lous, & Steve for years of kind top knotch service to residents, visitors & other staff rated five stars. I am looking forward to advancing financially so in the future I will be a condo owner with Related who has afforded me endless housing opportunities. Thank you for this platform. Mz B P.S.: Let me also acknowledge the leasing staff who have been an awesome team in making me fill at home, thank you.

Just started renting and I wish I did a better job finding a luxury Apartment. The lobby is never staffed properly, half the time it's someone from maintenance, the mail area is always dirty. Today I had to wait 10 min for the elevator. The hallway smell like smoke, it's a non smoking building, the ventilation system stink. Don't make the same mistake I made. Don't let the new picture fool you!!

Windows haven't been washed in 2 years

This is probably the most neglected building in the Related's portfolio. - lobby is filled with flies. - apartment windows have not been washed in over 18 months and they are completely filthy. - there is loud construction in nearby units for the past 8 weeks. 8am-4pm. Try working from home. - lots of turnover on the leasing office staff. - leasing office is difficult to deal with and in some cases either completely don't respond to inquiries or take about a week. - everyone who is good either at the front desk or leasing office is being transferred to newer Related buildings like the Avery. - terrible laundry machines that will tear and stain your clothes. - the gym is filthy and old. - the roof top furniture is stained with who knows what and hasn't been upgraded in years. - the apartment fixtures are falling apart. - your bathroom walls will be covered in mold. - people smoke in their apartments and nobody can find who they are. - the pool has been closed for months pre COVID. - people will get in the elevators with you without a mask (that's probably true everywhere). - there's a woman who lives in the Annie street who screams all day and sometimes all night. She has been around everyday for almost 2 years. You will hear her. - with shelter in place the area is increasingly unsafe, you'll be approached by many questionable people outside. - dog pee all around the entrance to the building from people walking their dogs. I can go on, but will just say I don't recommend.

I am thinking the head people in New York really must not give one hoot about the Paramount. Could it be because of the Pandemic or is it just they don't care? This is one neglected building. I know the hallway on my floor has not been vacuumed in three weeks. There is blond dog hair up and down the hallway, in front of my door... as it sticks to shoes and clothing as you are walking to get to or out of your unit. (I don't own a blond or any colored dog). The recycle rooms reeks and I have called and complained about one unknown dog owner which could be any of the five or six dog owners on the 15th floor using the recycle room as a storage area for their pooch's pee and poo pad when not in use. It is usually stuck behind the recycle bin as to hide it. Seeing it is not the issue, being slapped in the nose by the smell of dog urine is a big issue. It stinks and it also makes the hallway stinks. I don't know what is happening with the Paramount. Whatever it is, it isn't good. I like Marissa, but I don't see her around anymore, she seems very accommodating and friendly. I still love the concierges...Mercedes, Carlos and one of the temps. Bill is okay, but he has not been here long enough for me to say one way or the other, but he tries and that's the most one can hope for. I think the porters are pretty great. I have very little interaction with maintenance. The concierges are professional and treat everyone equally unlike someone (I don't even know her name) who is in a management position with zero people skill. Very unfriendly. Two weeks back, emails were sent out to residents so they could RSVP for bundt cake giveaway on of all days my birthday(July 29th). I didn't receive an email to RSVP but a day later I did receive my rent ledger via that email address. I thought maybe it was in spam, it was not. I was not sent an email. Was it intentional? I think so. I know we shouldn't take things personal but that made me feel some kind of way and not in a good way. I am resilient and over it but I think it was not nice and unprofessional. It is not about the stupid cakes, it's about being decent. I never have done anything to this person, our first meeting was accidental, I went to A1 to see a person who no longers works at the Paramount and I encounter this person who was so unfriendly at the time and still is. A first impression is a lasting impression.

Damn, son. The view from the 45th floor "Sky Club" at the Paramount is my most recent, yet most astonishing find in quite some time!

The building is nice however be prepared for a $300 - 400 rent increase every year! There is no rent control.

But we still had packages that had already been ordered and/or delivered. Marshall and his team were very kind and patient to send photos of what arrived and then print labels and get things sent back out to Amazon/FedEx to return items for us. Their communication was impressive! So appreciative for all of their help!

FRAUDULENT PEOPLE!…read more We live next door to this building in condos, and they have received misdelivered packages for our building, even being photographed in their mailroom. They refused to give them to us, even though they are addressed to us and obviously misdelivered. Then they say "oh we don't have them" despite photographed evidence. Next is "oh we can't find them". They claimed to have sent them back, although we went to them the very next morning. Asking how did they send them back, they stated with a driver. This being with me going to when their package room opened for business hours, and no delivery came yet, and the delivery in question happened the night before right as they were closing. So did Santa come and get them overnight? Especially when I see several boxes marked RTS right there? Obviously very shady management and company. Not good people at all. Not even good neighbors. Probably keeping packages for themselves.

He was super friendly, transparent and candid through the entire process- even made move in day a little easier. Actually just saw a picture of the units on the yelp page and they look pretty representative. The gym is clean and not packed even during peak hours which is nice. Haven't had any issues with appliances or paying rent. One thing I'd like to figure out is if they take BILT credit card for rent payments but I think last I checked the leasing office said no.

The location is hard to beat--right by the water on the Embarcadero and close to a lot of offices. If you work in the area, it's a game-changer for convenience. But what really sets this place apart isn't just the location (which is already amazing) but the management. Cary, in particular, has been a pleasure to work with. From my very first phone call inquiring about the apartments to my actual move-in day, Cary made the whole process so smooth and easy. he really went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of, and I can't thank him enough for that! Another thing I love is the open space in the building. It's super kid-friendly, which is a nice touch if you have kids or enjoy living in a place that feels welcoming and community-oriented. If you're looking for a great place to live in SF with top-notch management, I can't recommend Rincon Green enough!

She is extremely responsive and communicative about everything, and jumps into problem solving mode when you let her know of a (rare) issue with your apartment. What's more is that she's a ray of sunshine who personally vets everyone who lives here, so everyone is polite, clean, and responsible. I probably saw over 100 apartments when I was searching in SF, and when I toured the unit with Deb, immediately recognized that it was a gem. You get much more bang for your buck than other comps in Russian Hill and Cow Hollow. (For example, you can operate the well-maintained laundry machines with an app vs. coin operated). To boot, you're on a quiet street right above Polk (which has everything you'd ever need) and a literal two-minute walk from amazing restaurants like Elephant Sushi and Seven Hills.
