French toast with blueberries and bacon for Princess Wizard.
Julie K.

This review is long overdue. We came here in September 1 (along with 7.9 million other witches and wizards) and enjoyed a delicious breakfast. So glad that I made a reservation in advance. Attentive service and a very polite waitress made court time at the Parcel Yard quite memorable. I highly recommend the French toast with blueberries but the bacon was rather hard and inedible. (Clean bathroom ... I do appreciate that!)

Okay, this is a classic railway station pub, namely because it is actually located inside of the railway station (which is something that doesn't seem to be a thing in Australia, but then again our railway stations are nowhere near the size of the termini stations in London). Honestly, I wasn't all that thrilled with the place, particularly the service, namely because the bartender didn't seem to believe me that I knew what to expect from the beer that I was ordering. Actually, I wouldn't even go as far as suggesting that this is a good place to grab a beer while waiting for the train, though from what I remember it can be a little bit of a hike to the closest other one.

The tomato soup was one of the best I've had. Very delicious along with toast. My husband ordered the chicken Schnitzer with mashed potatoes which I tried as well it was also very good. Prices were affordable and service was great. I would come again for sure.

Very roomy pub located in the back of Kings Cross train station. Unless you know where it is located, it is very easy to miss. It is pretty large with a nice atrium in the center. It is a nice place get pint before or after a train trip. Did not try the food but the plates going by me looked pretty good.

Stopped by The Parcel Yard to grab dinner and drinks while out in Kings Cross. Beer selection was good, they had some higher gravity options which I was a fan of. For food we both ordered the Frontier-battered cod aka fish and chips and enjoyed it. Great spot!

Hidden away in the corner of Kings Cross Station is a Fullers Pub. It looks like a small generic station bar from the outside, but climb the stairs (or take the lift) and what opens before you is a craft beer bar of note. It's reasonably priced and has a fair amount of room. The selection of beers is pretty good. On this occasion, I was only getting a quick drink but the selection of foods being served also looked excellent.

Great beer selection and the food was pretty awesome as well. Paid a little more since we were I. Kong's cross but it was fun watching the trains come in and out! We had a few rounds then ordered some food. My hubby opted for the burger (which was strange! I thought he'd go for the fish and chips again!) I got chicken schnitzel and it was soooo good!! We enjoyed our dinner and cocktails very much.

I was astonished by The Parcel Yard! Tucked away in the corner of Kings Cross station this pub is deceptive, inside it has 2 huge floors, loads of seating and a great selection of ales. What was most surprising is how comfortably quiet and reasonably priced it is for a station! The staff were fantastic, we sat upstairs and when they saw me head for the downstairs bar, which has the larger selection of beer, they offered to have my order sent up for me! I didn't eat here but I will next time I need a bite at Kings Cross station. They'll have a hard job beating Honest Burger which is just around the corner... But the staff and ale selection might just make up for it.

A really happening spot! Although I ended up having to interrupt a servers trot to get seated, once we were accommodated all was well. It was nice to finally sit down and enjoy our last English meal before we traveled on to our next destination. Had a great experience and that was all by chance I suppose; you see we were just at kings cross station to jump through platform 9 3/4 & check out the Harry Potter shop, but we needed to get some fish & chips as our last meal in London. So I searched for the closest Fish & Chips to us & thus The Parcel Yard popped up! Really, get the Battered Cod & Chips! It's HUGE

Okay,, a pint of bitter and a delicious shortcrust beef pie (with braised cabbagge) in a train station for a reasonable price... you really have to be impressed.

Lovely pub with an excellent selection of real ales. It's a good place for a stop off before hopping on your train home. Great!

Would give it a higher 4star rating if not for the rip off beer prices - even for London!

Cute place, friendly host, quick service, free wifi - mediocre food. This place is probably better for drinks than food.

This was not how I remembered Kings Cross station from the 1980's with it's stale sandwiches and weak British rail tea......

Whilst it's not the most posh place I've been, it usually gets the job done well. Drinks are how you would find at most pubs, and service is decent too, given how a waitress came to ask us what we wanted and served us amidst a busy rugby game (at other times, we had gone to the bar to order ourselves). There are quite a few tv screens as well as a big home theatre-like one too, which always adds to your sports watching experience. I've never had food here before but would like to try sometime. I hear that their wings are good. Be sure to bring an ID -- as its part of a casino facility, they check your ID even if you're here only for the bar and not for gambling.

Oddly, to open a tab, you have to give them both your credit/debit card AND your driver's license/passport/ID card. They give you a "badge" which you then show every time you order, apparently so they know which tab to bill it to. A bit weird to me, but maybe that's the norm in London, or at least in high-tourist bars in London. Also, they won't let men inside if you are wearing a hat-- you must remove the hat to enter. Fortunately, once inside, I put my hat back on and didn't have a problem with anyone saying anything. Glad my hat hair didn't have to be on display!

We came across this place and decided to give it a try. We were greeted by two people at the door and invited inside. There are multiple floors that you would not expect from the look of outside. We were respectful and nonpolitical, she assumed from our ethnic backgrounds and treated us accordingly. She verbatim said she will not serve our kind. If you want a pub without employees making every thing political, this is not the spot. We do not even entertain politics, she just put us in a basket. This is the first time in my life I had to exit the pub because of the brainwashed ultra lefty employee. I love all people and people on the left, it sucks that this extremist ruined the night after spending our hard earned money. Honestly the pours were weak, the lighting was poor, and the drinks were heavily overpriced. It's some fake Irish bar.
