I had a great experience here for the weekend buffet and loved all the food I tasted. We went both Saturday and Sunday! The meat was soft and flavorful. I really liked how the food was mildly spicy and not super spicy that I couldn't eat it. The dal soup was a bit too salty for me though. It would be wonderful if there's a meat option that's not spicy at all so my kids can enjoy without coughing from the spice since they can't handle even mildly spicy foods well. My kid is allergic to wheat/gluten, egg, and dairy and she's picky and only eats meat. I love how they offer tea and lemonade in addition to water as part of the buffet. If the food gets too spicy, then the lemonade is wonderful for quenching thirst and helping to get rid of the spiciness on your tongue so you can continue to eat more. They did have high chairs if you have young kids. If the buffet price stays the same at $15 then my family will definitely be coming back a lot.

Chicken Tikka masala, paneer Tikka, chicken biryani

This place had a 4 for $50 deal which includes an appetizer, 2 entrees, a biryani dish, and 2 naans. Decided to try out the deal. For the app we got paneer Tikka, the entrees we got chicken Tikka masala and a vegetarian dish, and chicken biryani. We got the food for take out. It's off rt 130 but easy too miss. Inside they have decent amount of seating and might be worth checking in for a dine in experience. I only ate the chicken Tikka masala and chicken biryani. The chicken in the Tikka masala was cooked well and flavorful but was a bit too sweet for my liking. Needed to tone down on the sweetness. The naans weren't bad but nothing special either. The biryani was good and flavorful. At first glance, it didn't look like it has a lot of chicken pieces but when you start scoooit out the biryani I was pleasantly surprised to see an decent amount of chicken. We ordered all the foods as medium spice level which was the right amount of heat for me. Might be too much for those that can't do spicy though. Overall, this place isn't too bad. It won't necessarily blow you out if the water but the deals are really good. Worth the time to check out.

Amazing food! My family and I have dined in and have gotten take out a few times now. The staff are super kind and attentive, especially with refilling water. The chicken tikka masala, kadai chicken and the garlic naan are my family's favorites - although everything we've tried so far has been delicious and fresh. The prices are reasonable too. Highly recommend checking out this restaurant! Side note: The restaurant is situated right off of Rt. 130, it's a bit unassuming from the outside but is nicely decorated inside!

I came here with my parents for lunch, and was surprised to see the place practically completely empty when I went in. I guess it's not very popular yet, or perhaps just in a location people don't often visit? Either way, the food and service was quite good overall. I loved the laccha paratha and the butter chicken was good too. I tried a bit of the korma and palak paneer as well, all classics and all very well done. I particularly liked that the gravies were not as creamy as some other places that really overdo it. My one suggestion revolves around the big TV in the middle of the dining room. That thing plays cringey ads every 5 minutes or so, which creates an awkward atmosphere in the restaurant. You guys can afford to pay for ad-free YouTube so your guests don't have to listen to that crap lol, it should be like $10 per month. Little things like that can make people think you lack attention to detail or care for your customer experience, so just clean all that up and you will be fine because the food is good. Overall, good tasty food, if you fix the constant YouTube ads you will be 5 star worthy.

Located off Nottingham Way in Hamilton, Bombay Feast is a a fast casual type of Indian street food…read moreeatery. I've been there twice and can't in good conscience call it a restaurant as service (1.5/5) is the bare minimum, where you have to get up to get your own water, and aren't once asked if you want beverages or desserts. Nobody checks in on you to ask how the food is or if you want anything else, yet they still mandate a 12% service charge after some mystery 3% fee they impose on everything on the menu except their parathas (prior to calculating the tax and service fee). A scrupulous business adds any fees on the subtotal of the menu price, but here you wind up paying extra tax and service charge on the additional 3% which is tacked onto the menu price, which I assume is a credit card fee. Doing the math, they're collecting an extra 3% in both tax and service charge as well, so customer beware. You aren't given a check at the end of your meal, so you have to walk up to the front podium to pay on a tablet (not a fan of this practice), where you're given a few awkward seconds to stare at your bill, and unsuspecting customers won't have time to analyze the charges, and will likely wind up paying both the service charge and additional gratuity for the very minimal service provided. We've ordered various parathas (3.5/5), the chole bhature (4/5), butter chicken (2.5/5), pav bhaji dosa (3.5/5), and naan (3/5) over 2 visits. The parathas and pav bhaji dosa were excellent on one visit, but unreasonably spicy on the next visit, so they need to work on consistency of their spice levels. The chole bhature was good, and served with a massively sized bhature, which was greatly appreciated and more than enough for the chole provided. I would stay away from the usual North Indian food menu items as they're overpriced (above $20) and not that good compared to other Hamilton area Indian restaurants. The gravy for the butter chicken was underwhelming average, and not something I'd order again. Their wheelhouse for tasty food seems to be the parathas, dosas, and snack food/quick eats types of items. While the cook in the kitchen is decent, the lack of service and mystery charges really detracts from the overall experience, so I won't be back and would not recommend Bombay Feast to others. They really need to hire an additional person with customer service skills to attend to guests to ask if they want water/drinks, desserts, additional food items, and check in to ask how everything was. We had to proactively wipe down our dirty table, ask for additional utensils, and get our own water. On my 2nd visit, they took it upon themselves to add an additional gratuity on top of the service charge, which really rubbed us the wrong way as we analyzed their payment screen on their tablet and asked for a printed receipt; we noticed it a few days later when checking the credit card charge. They seemed genuinely apologetic about it and refunded us the extra amount via Venmo when we called them up to question it, but that really left a bad impression on us. I'd add this to my growing list of highly overrated Indian eateries popping up in NJ with a somewhat decent kitchen, but major disregard for proper customer service.

Recently I noticed a photo and review mentioning meat dishes, when I looked at the website they indeed have a small section devoted to carnivores, this brought them to the forefront of my list. After work on a Friday I grabbed a takeout here. Zarani Murgh(chicken!) aloo paratha and veg samosas. The order was nicely packed so I dare not disturb it until I was home. The paratha came in a med sized pizza box, the bread part was perfect and the filling very tasty and more than is usually included when I order this elsewhere. This was the best I've encountered in this area and will reorder next visit. The veg Samosa was good too, similar potato filling as the bread but with a few veggies. The chicken dish seemed to be tandoori but had been liberally covered in yellow curry. There was not much of a sauce and no rice was included. I used the paratha to scoop up pieces of the boneless and juicy white meat that had been bathed in the curry. There were also cooked onions that went nicely. The raita was tangy and thick. This was a very generous portion too. I didn't get a great look at the interior but it seems to have been updated from the last failed restaurant. Customer service was quick and friendly. I think it was wise of them to include a few non veg dishes. I'm planning to eat in next time but will also resort to takeout. There are several items I'd like to try, including a curry that features trout. I'm at 4.25 stars, with potential to go up.....

In spite of good reviews and a second change in decor, that business was not able to survive very long. As I walked in to pick up my order I had mixed feelings. Sad about the fact that another very good and unique European restaurant was gone, and wondering about the future success of the new business. I noticed that the place had been painted and redecorated once again . This I guess could be called an Indian fusion house, offering many common dishes along with some I had not heard of. They also have Indo Chinese options. My first visit was so good that I thought I would return once more before reviewing. I tried the garlic naan and aloo paratha, both good to very good. The paratha was very thin and had a delicately spiced potato mixture inside, I wished there was more filling but enjoyed as it was. The chicken 65 tasted very good, but had too much sauce as I would have preferred the pieces of meat to be crispy. Chicken Radha was a rustic curry with about half of a bone in chicken. I loved this dish and the portion was 2 meals. Chicken biryani was equally tasty and came with very good raita. Chicken Manchow soup was new to me, think hot and sour soup and then add copious amounts of ginger and garlic. You have to like garlic to appreciate this soup, and I do and did! Service was friendly on both visits and orders were packed up very well, with additional onion, lime and peppers for the biryani and crispy noodles to top the soup with. A good friend went to dine in and had a great meal too, taking advantage of the all you can eat lunch Thali. I'm at about 4.5 stars for now....

The dipping sauces were a great addition.) -Goat Biryani (The portion was very generous and it was delicious.) -Butter Chicken (It was good but could have been better. The chicken was just cut-up Tandoori chicken, and I would have preferred fresh chicken.) -Mango Lassi (It was good and refreshing.) Final Thoughts: I would definitely go again. We discovered Mrs Kumar before it expanded and love the food. We visited Thumkaa which had its own vibes and while driving along 33E we kept passing Chozhas and decided we would visit on Valentine's day for Dinner. Clearly this restaurant does a booming business with its buffet and no difference on Valentines where an a la Carte menu was offered but there was such a crowd earlier that food and staff were exhausted. Fortunately we had Deepthi who despite being on her feet for hours made sure we were aware that the palak chat which was supposed to be out came back on the menu . Also giving us great advice on the quantity of food to order. She was excellent. Now to the food which was "good"...but not anything special. The appetizes Palak Chat and Lasuni Jhinga Shrimp were better than the main course of dal fry, goat rogan ghosh (nice having bones but not much meat). Rice came with garlic naan and the rice keer was served too hot as they ran out for lunch and had to make fresh. Now the decorations were really nicely laid out for Valentines and made it feel special. As we were leaving it was crowded. Clearly this place has a following and we were told the weekend buffet is what everyone comes for. We will try the buffet one weekend to see how the food is and hope that it really is exceptional and better than the a la carte. Again staff were great given how hard they were working and kudos to Deepthi.
