My recent experience with Parking Spot was so poor I likely will not be using them again. Especially as I'd used a different company previously with zero problems. I booked a reservation Feb 16-20 for my Jeep. I flew to VA for training, returned and (as this was my first time using Parking Spot) neglected to save my reservation email. I mistakenly thought the tag the bus driver gave me was my ticket. As such, I had no receipt to show the attendant when I left. I showed her plane tickets to prove my reservation was Feb 16-20. I paid $91.19 with my card. I had more training in VA March 2-7, so this time I downloaded the app and made a reservation (March 1-7) through it. When I arrived at the airport, the attendant told me to scan the QR code on my phone. It said I had already checked in (????). The attendant told me just to scan a Debit Card to enter. This took SIX TRIES between two card, but it eventually let me in. She directed me towards Row G, and I was unable (after ANOTHER EIGHT TRIES!!!) to open that gate. I drove back to the front gate where the attendant told me 'Just try it again (????). BACK to the 2nd Gate and this time it opened. Made it to my Gate (despite their driver sending me to the WRONG terminal), flew out and returned early, on March 5th. Nice pleasant, funny driver this time. Picked up my Jeep, and that's when The Parking Spot shit-show started. Their rude, patronizing parking attendant told me I owed approx. $340 in parking!!!!!! She claimed I was there since March 16th! I showed her my reservation on the Parking Spot app, and she ignored it and said I owed the $340!!!! I explained what most likely had happened (see above) and even gave her both my Debit and Credit card to check and see that I entered when i said I did, and that I had been charged when I left the first time. She did so and claimed I had never used either card and "We can see everything you're doing". She made me back up so she could attend to another customer. I backed up, pulled up the payment receipt ($91.19) from my last visit (Feb 16-20) on my banking app, and hoped it would have cleared things up. I was mistaken. The attendant (La Tina? La Tisha?) became even more smarmy, condescending, and patronizing. She lowered the price I was supposed to pay to $243 or so. I still refused to pay. I showed her my reservation again, but she continued to ignore it and patronize me, even telling me "Once you add in tax, etc, it comes to $25/day. We went back and forth for awhile, me repeatedly telling her I was only paying for my reservation. Eventually, she got her superior. I explained the situation to him, showed him my earlier receipt, offered him my credit/debit cards to see my activity for himself, and he was much more amenable. I offered to pay the full reservation (despite returning 2 days early), and he charged me for such. At this point, 9-10PM, I just wanted to get out of there. I am amazed that such a large company would treat a new-ish customer as though I was trying to take advantage of them. I am disgusted that they would allow employees to condescend and patronize customers that way. While I admit the error on my end by not saving the confirmation email, every breakdown in service after that is due to Parking Spot system, not me. I shared this story with the crews of the 2 vessels I work with, and conventional wisdom is to use one of their competitors moving forward. their parking system seems prone to breakdowns in communication, faulty equipment, and unwanted challenges. read more

I prescheduled parking for a trip out of Hobby airport. Scheduling through the app was quick and easy. I had some frequent user points and received a couple of days free which came in very handy. We got to the airport despite torrential rains. Lucky for us, the shuttle pulled up right as we parked. Temesgen was our driver and promptly handed us the return ticket with our parking spot on it. He picked up another group before heading out and was nice enough to take them back when they realized they forgot the phone at the car. We were ahead of time so no worries. He dropped us off at the terminal in one piece. Our return ride was seamless, one bus was full so we waited on the next which came in a few minutes. Devin was our driver. He helped my husband load the luggage and dropped us off in record speeds. No other passengers were on the return. Check out was easy, we scanned the bar code on the phone and grabbed some waters for our drive home. read more

For a lot with cheap rates and frequent discounts, it's impressive how reliable The Parking Spot has been for me over the years. For the most part, their operations are streamlined and I have yet to encounter any rude interactions. Staff have been helpful on multiple occasions, including a visit last month ago when I dropped my keys on the shuttle bus and they held them for me until I flew back. Compared to Parking Spot 1, I've personally found that Spot 2 has more frequent shuttle pickups from the airport back to the lot. I recommend downloading their app for convenience. During slow airport hours, the app can still track your location to determine whether you're near a shuttle bus stop. If they detect that you're close to one, they'll automatically notify a driver to come pick you up. My most recent experience with them 2 days ago was incredibly helpful. I had cut my bag check-in time very close (Southwest requires you to check in luggage 45-60 minutes before flight departure time), but my driver LaShanda picked me up immediately after parking and drove off. For the fastest shuttle times, I recommend coming here in the mornings. read more

TPS made it right by refunding the difference between the reservation amount and the billed amount. Lesson learned. If your flight is delayed and you have a discount, do not change your parking reservation to reflect the delay or you will lose the discount. I think that is ridiculous. read more

Rudest employees ever. They are always just in the booth talking and not willing to assist. I parked here and did not have a cc. I have it saved on my wallet. I explained to both female attendants it kept declining my cc that I tapped on the machine. They yell well where's your cc? I explained I don't have it. While their machine says it takes tap it doesn't from your mobile device. She says again it doesn't take Apple Pay. I explained I didn't use Apple Pay. She then says if it's from your phone it's Apple Pay and don't get it twisted. Obviously she has her information incorrect bc it's not Apple Pay. It's tap from a saved cc on my phone. I asked if they could assist and check me out at the booth and she said no. So I sat in my truck. Cars continued to line up behind me to get out. One states how do I go on vacation without money or cc? Umm, I wasn't on vacation. I work for a company at the airport. She then says how do I live without carrying money or a physical card. This is beyond rude and judgmental. She then says she's going to call security on me for not paying. Which was not the case at all. So I told her go ahead and do so. She then states I need to back up and she'll have to take my payment at her booth. Ok I asked for their assistance initially and both said no. Fortunately another customer paid for my parking and I informed the customer I would Zelle or Cash App them. read more

Dear The Parking Spot Team, I'm writing to report an extremely disappointing experience around 9:00 PM. We travel 5-10 times per year and have always used The Parking Spot, but this visit was by far the worst we've encountered. The employee on duty was yelling at cars trying to exit the parking lot and making rude comments about how "unprepared everyone was" to a coworker. When we asked for help locating our ticket information, he rolled his eyes and was visibly impatient and dismissive. His behavior created unnecessary stress for multiple customers and left a terrible impression. I love parking my car here! However, there is one particular driver with the nastiest attitude ever!!! He is an older Caucasian man. He happened to be the driver that took me to the airport for my trip. His attitude was terrible when he picked me up but I said maybe he's having a bad day. Then I come back home and what do you know he's my driver again. He loaded the bus down to where we are squeezing so tight. Then he proceeded to give a guy an attitude because he wanted to stand up and hold on to the rail because we're in here so tight. Upfront pricing. The last time I stayed at a Parking Spot was 12-14 months ago. At that time, my rate was somewhere around. 7.50 a day. Apparently, I didn't do a good job of looking at the sign when I pulled in last Wednesday. After 5 days of parking there I pulled out and found out I had a $128 parking charge for 5 nights. - what a ripoff. By contrast, I just got online and made reservations at EcoPark at George Bush Airport at the end of July for an 8 day trip. The total charge at EcoPark will be $59. This rating is ONLY for, the quite literal worst employee I have EVER encountered with Parking Spot! I've used this company for 15+ years, and have never had anything but amazing experiences! When I pulled in, the shuttle followed me, blocked me so I couldn't park correctly. When I was trying to get my bags out of the car I guess I was taking too long and he honked 3 times to tell me to hurry. I move a bit slower due to surgery and overall limitations. Once I was able to get situated he drove off (which was fine I needed to finished gathering my things ) when he circled back around I asked for help with my suitcase and he shouted "this is your bag, you are the one who picks it up, I ONLY assist!" I informed him that I would need help due to just having surgery. He glared at me then sat back down in his chair. As I was struggling to get my bag up, another passenger on the shuttle came down to help me! As we parked to be unloaded I waited for most of the clients to get off first and he took EVERYONES bag, big and small, down the stairs and handed it to them. When it was my turn I asked do I need go down the stairs first? And he said "it's your bag!" So I struggled bending down and grabbed my bag and the same gentleman who helped before walked up and helped again! I gave the tip I had intended to give to the driver to the man who helped me! Parking spot I would suggest speaking to Guadalupe on his people skills! Thankfully this interaction won't skew my feelings on your company! read more

Great shuttle timing frequency. On our return trip arrived at 2am and the shuttle was there waiting to take us back right away.

Stand there and watch Parking Spot 1 bus pick up twice before Parking Spot 2 shows up.

You pay for what you get. Almost had to take an Uber to get my car from the parking spot. Free shuttles were too infrequent given the volume of passengers waiting. Shuttle stopped in a location completely different from where signage indicated shuttle would stop. Completely inept. Not worth the hassle. Wasted 40 minutes waiting on shuttle to arrive after multiple shuttles filled and left. read more

The wait time outside was ridiculous.. I waited in the shared ride pickup area for 25 mins and saw 3 different shuttles that came and went. None of the 3 shuttles I saw lol ever stopped in the shared ride pickup area. Considering there is a dedicated pickup spot for that area I feel you should rely on them stopped by versus running to other side of the lot just to stop the shuttle to get on. read more

I've been a Parking Spot customer for a few years and never had any issues. I traveled April 9th-14th for business and pleasure. I confirmed with a Parking Spot customer support that I could pay the transaction with more than 1 card and that the parking attendee at the gate would assist. The parking attendee was nice, but she messed up the entire transaction and we waited a while at the gate. I contacted customer support the next day and they informed me to contact the manager at the Hobby location. I called the location and spoke with with a parking attendee about the details which she was going to share with manager. The parking attendee also informed me that the manager was would be calling me after 3pm. I never received a call so I called and was informed that the manager was in a meeting. The manager called me back, but she was abrupt, bothered, rude, unprofessional, and in the end the manager called me the B word. I was shocked and we never had the opportunity to discuss the transaction. I contacted customer support and they provided the general manager's contact. I was informed that he left for the day, the next day he was in meeting so we continued to play phone tag. My transaction was never resolved, it has been inconvenient with customer support with no contact #, and I have never been so disrespected. read more

This place has a problem with getting cars to enter in the front. It happened to me too. But, the unreal part was when I entered the line to pay. Since I wanted the attendant to credit me a 20% discount offer ,I waited in that line. From behind me, "Enzri" (the manager) scorned me for holding up the line and not being prepared to give her the information. Interesting because I would not have been waiting there if the other attendant didn't have so many issues with the entering cars. When the cars behind me were honking, she said that I had to leave. I told her that it wasn't my fault that they were slow and understaffed. She gave me the amount owed and did not give me a receipt. I wanted to know what she charged me for? When she did give me the receipt, she THREW it at me!! She then yelled at me that "God don't like ugly, look at yourself". I told her "Look who's talking" and left. After parking here for a few days. I returned to an almost 18 inch crack in my front windshield and my husband had a chip in his front windshield. They were very quick to say they weren't responsible for any damage. I'm not surprised our windshields were damaged because there was a ton of loose gravel everywhere combined with drivers taking off at top speed. read more

We have always used The Parking Spot, but this morning TWO or your drivers nearly collided at the top of where the 2 lanes merge to head towards the airport. Both drivers were reckless. Neither driver yielded to the other, but our driver had the right of way. The other driver was merging., it could've been really ugly, & there was a toddler on our bus. read more

On July 21, 2024 at 350am i get to the gate and the attendant says it's reservation only. And she also said the other parking companies have the same policy. So I took my car back to my place and caught an Uber. I never heard of this rule. But i see things have definitely changed. read more

I'll be going back to Monroe, because they try to pick up too many people before actually leaving that I was cutting it really close to my flight (yes I should have gotten there sooner but I always go an hour ish before for domestic) At Monroe they always picked me up and left right away. I parked my car at PS2 with a full tank of gas. When I returned the entite tank was empty. No, my car was not left running like the attendant claimed I did. In fact, she was hostile and overly rude. Someone siphoned all the gas from my car. 100 degrees with her telling me to start my car with no gas. I called AAA and asked for help. Finally, a manager offered to help me and brought over a can of gas offering me water as well. I have noticed the less gas before. Don't park at PS 2 unless you can lock your gas tank! read more

This is a nice uncovered secure parking lot across the street from Hobby Airport. The shuttle picked us up quickly and transported us to the first floor of the airport to get to our flight. There was only one other guy on the shuttle, so they apparently move quickly and have multiple shuttles running. On the way back, we were once again picked up very quickly and returned to our car without any issue. They also have bottled water when you check out and pay. Prices have gotten a lot higher than they used to be (almost $10/day now) but I guess they have to pay for the brand and advertising. We arrived mid morning on 9/18/23 to The Parking Spot 2 to park our car for a flight to SWA.We were immediately greeted by the gate attendant who told us where we needed to park. Our wait time was literally under 2 minutes. The driver was Sonia who instantly jumped off the bus to grab our bags. I was so elated. Several of the men rarely do this. I told her to be careful that my husband could get the bag because it was very heavy. She said no problem and carefully lifted the bag and placed it on the rack. She then stepped down to assist my husband with his bags. This act was so very appreciated because I recently had carpal tunnel and ulnar nerve decompression surgery so my lifting abilities are very minimal. Sonia's driving was impeccable and calculated. AS we approached the airport Sonia can to a smooth stop and again immediately began getting everyone's bag. Me and my husband had discussed before arriving at the airport that neither of us had money for a tip; only a $20 bill. We asked Sonia before heading off if she happen to have some change and she said no. I told her oh no that I felt so bad because we always tip the drivers. She didn't put a frown on her face, or treated us any differently. Instead she simply said with a big smile, "Oh no worries all is ok, please have a nice day". Sonia deserves a raise and perhaps even employee of the month. Her customer service skills and interpersonal skills, not to mention her driving skills are all elite. I fly at least once every other week for work, and have been a loyal The Parking Spot customer for some time. That all came to a screeching halt last night. They have three locations that serve Hobby Airport, and they all have shuttle bus issues lately. Last night, they had about 60 of us waiting for over half an hour for pickup. I watched a fight almost break out as a woman with a baby tried to cut in line and a man who had been waiting there with for half an hour wasn't having it. Meanwhile, two shuttle busses for The Parking Spot 1 at Hobby came and went with only one or two passengers on board. I have the app and could see only one bus was running for the 2 location. Those of us in line kept calling the 2 location and getting hung up on when selecting the option for pickup. Two stays ago, I was on the shuttle bus for 2 when the driver announced he was dropping some people on board off at 1 before taking us to two, so I knew they *could* take us to 2 if they wanted, but this guy preferred to sit there doing nothing about the situation. I finally got the number for the 1 location and talked to someone I'm guessing was a manager, because she said she was going to drive over to 2 to see what was going on. A few minutes later, the driver of the empty Monroe bus who was just sitting there empty announced he was taking a group to 2. Shortly thereafter, I saw two busses finally running for the 2 location. I guess the manager from 1 got over to 2 and woke someone up. The Parking Spot seems to have enough busses, but their logistics are terrible. They need to figure this out. Here's a suggestion - put a camera in the pickup area at Hobby for a manager to watch. If there's 60 or 100 people standing there, have the driver of whatever bus is actually there start asking what location they need, then load up that bus and take them there! read more

When I park here, it's usually because I'm running late and I know that the shuttle pick ups after you park are usually rather quick. We accidentally made a reservation at the other location and when we arrived at this location, the attendant would not let us change our reservation to this location. In fact she would not let us even enter the lot. We were required to leave. She would rather loose our business than have us switch parking lots. What a mess. AviStar is now called Parking Spot 2 and I have no complaints about this place. I made a reservation online for three days for only $20 not bad it is $6.25 a day. When I received the email of confirmation it gave a few instruction so there won't be any inconvenience with your experience with Parking Spot. The instructions are; make sure you present your reservation voucher to the attendant before entering the parking lot. Without your voucher you will end up being charged twice. When parked the bus driver that takes you to the airport will give you a ticket of where you are parked. When you come back from your trip make sure you have your ticket so the driver can take you directly to where you parked. The last thing is when you are ready to leave the parking lot make sure you have your voucher and the ticket that was given to you. Without your voucher you will be charged twice. I like when companies give you detailed instructions, because it is well appreciated by the customers and it will prevent any inconveniences. Our driver was very nice and he got is the airport and back quick and easy. The whole experience was stress free and my recommendation is to make your reservations online it is quick and safe! read more

Do not park here. Park anywhere else, whether it is negligibly more (a few dollars) or substantively more money just to avoid an experience that only Philosopher Eric Cartman could properly categorize as "in the ghettooooooo." The place is huge, warehoused, looks like no security at all. The lot is partially torn up in front as a sign that you should go elsewhere if you have any common sense at all. The worker at the gate is rude. The bus driver is rude. Then on your return flight you wait for-ev-errrrrrrrr. Just say no way, Jose. read more

There is this one driver that always gets mad that I don't have a ticket I don't always get one from a morning driver and I tell him what row and he always wants me to walk instead of going down the row rather it's 100 degrees or if it just finished raining and there's puddles everywhere that driver either needs better customer training or he should get let go I have complained about him more than once read more

The low reviews probably shouldn't be included on here since they were from when this was a different company (Avistar). Plenty of parking spots, average price (make sure you print out a coupon from their website), and they offer a rewards card. Unfortunately you have to request the reward card on-site and can't request it online. So if you do park here, make sure you ask for the spot club card when you're checking out. The shuttles come fairly regularly. They also give you a complimentary bottle of water when you check out. read more

This location is well-priced, convenient, and easy to use. My friends and I left a car here for a week ($7.50/day), and they gave us clear instructions on where to leave our car and how to find the shuttle. The service was friendly, and they gave us a card with our parking row to give to the driver when we flew back. All in all, it was a simple experience, just as we had hoped. read more

Wow I'm surprised at all the negative reviews.. I recently switched from Fast Park after their service went downhill REAL quick, and have been nothing but pleased with the the big yellow bus. I use the app to make reservations and I love that you can just scan it and go. The most important thing to me is to be picked up on a timely manner from the airport.. I mean who wants to wait 20 minutes after a long day of traveling. So far I've always been picked up within 3 minutes or so of walking outside. Overall I'm very please and plan to continue to park here in the future. read more
