Since switching allegiance from the evil United at the big airport (IAH) to smaller Southwest at the small airport (Hobby), I had to find a different parking vendor since my go-to one at IAH didn't have a lot at Hobby. My trusty boring AAA Texas magazine had an ad for this chain and I used the coupon (who doesn't like saving money? If you don't, come sit by me and pay my bills.) to try them out in the summer. They were so good that I used them again for a recent trip to the Nanny State of California and I'm pleased as punch to say they are still good. You can find coupons on their website, sign up for their frequent user rewards program, and make a reservation. The current rate is $7.50/day but you can score 10% off easy by scouring the internet for a coupon. Parking highlights (since I know you were on the edge of your seat for this): 1. Once signed up for the free rewards program, you can reserve a spot for free. (Who pays that $4.95 reservation fee by the way?) 2. The Parking Spot 2 differs from Parking Spot 1 in that it is all uncovered. I didn't mind being exposed to the rain since it is a good way to get a free car wash. 3. This lot is conveniently almost right across from Hobby but no one wants to lug their bags across non-glamorous Airport Boulevard. 4. The shuttle service is prompt and picks you up in a well-coordinated ballet between the entrance gate agent talking with the drivers via walkie-talkie. 5. The drivers were both eager to help load and unload bags if you need that. So, if you're a parking aficionado, come get your jollies here. Will never use this lot or company again. My vehicle was parked here from 7/22/15 through 7/28/15. Upon returning to my vehicle I find that my catalytic converter had been removed from my vehicle. I was given a claim number for there insurance company. Who then told me they are not responsible for loss, damage, or theft. So beware. If you leave your vehicle is in this lot, IT IS NOT SAFE. Now I'm out $52 for the parking charge and another $3000+ in parts and labor to replace my catalytic converter. read more

Good parking location across the street from the airport. Prices have steadily increased over the past year. The price has gone from $6.95 to $9.95 for uncovered parking. They have online booking and a rewards program that gives you a free park after 8-10 visits. My car was parked in this lot during Hurricane Harvey and it did not flood. I heard that some cars flooded however there weren't very many. read more

Waited 25 min for a shuttle pick up. Others and I called several times and were told it was in the way when obviously it wasn't. When the shuttle finally arrived driver was rude. I work at the airport and usually just park and go about my business. But this is unacceptable. Saw other shuttles from other companies at least 4 times before 2 showed up. Ok, never again. We picked up my car last night, and was charged $34 something. Fine, I get that it's around $6 a day, but I parked on Wednesday at 5pm, and picked up my car Sunday at 10pm, which should be about $24, right? Wrong. For every hour I'm over a full day, they charge $2/hour. So, I asked, "Well...can you just charge me for another full day? I always park at either Parking Spot locations or, if I'm not in a rush, their new location called "the Spot" that is a bit further from the airport but even cheaper. Pros: 1. Cost (compared to both airport parking and off-site competitors), especially with coupons (always check their website for coupons) 2. Timeliness of buses for departure and arrival 3. Rewards program (particularly free reservations for Spot Club members) 4. Friendly staff 5. Perks (water bottles, etc) 6. Option of covered vs. uncovered parking (only available at The Parking Spot and NOT the Parking Spot 2 or the Spot as far as I know) read more

I like this airport parking lot! The premise is located very close to the airport so the shuttle ride there is relatively short (About 5 minutes or less without traffic). The shuttles are frequently roaming in the parking lot and the airport shuttle exit, so getting to or from Hobby Airport is never an issue and is usually a quick affair. Prices are reasonable but if you take advantage of their discounts, it is even more affordable! Solid airport parking service. I also like how the shuttle driver will write you a card for your car's parking spot so you can give the card to the next shuttle driver to quickly get to your car when you return. It's a nice paved, gated parking lot. Shuttles were quick, a five minute wait at most. All the employees were nice and courteous. But, you pay the highest per day here. I reserved online and paid a $6 convenience fee and for a guaranteed space. Didn't need a reservation as they didn't care. Plenty of spots available on Thursday. I had a coupon for fifty cents a day off from them. Big whoop, but it was going to add up to $2.00. It's hard to get excited for a coupon for 7% off. Upon check-out, the lady said the coupon was valid on Parking Spot...not at Parking Spot 2. She told me to read the "fine print". I am baffled why there's two exact companies with a nominal "2" to distinguish them. In a nutshell, it's a okay place. Just don't get Parking Spot confused with Parking Spot 2. read more

The experience at parking spot 2 (which we use almost exclusively at hobby!) was great per usual! But the reason I'm actually writing this review is as a special shout-out to one of the drivers, (I think his name was Robert), who was driving one of the shuttles at around 1030-11pm on 4/7/14. Not only was he incredibly friendly, and helped even drop our bags to our car (rather than just out the door), what really impressed me was his reaction to finding an ipad left on the shuttle (in the luggage rack?). He remembered who had it and high tailed it over to the exit line where he saw the guy in his car. Proceeded to get out and return it to the guy who was about to leave without even knowing it was missing. This was extremely impressive ... A especially all after the guy was one that had not even tipped the driver, after getting out earlier! I'm extremely happy with this place and the employees that they have working here! :) read more

The prices and service are comparable to other parking. My car was still there and hadn't been broken into (low expectations) Just know that the lot is gravel/dirt and your car will be dusty as hell when you come back to it. I was kind of pissed because I had just washed it a day before I left for my trip. I don't mind parking in an uncovered lot, but they should spring for some asphalt. I paid about $47 for 6 days. Hobby is not my fav and i have my routine down at IAH with EcoPark, but my GPS let me to the Spot while searching for Eco and i simply had minimal time to search when the address/phone # was cryptic and non accessible- so i figured "hey, why not?" The sit was the usual... Park (smaller lot than Eco at IAH and shortly after i got in the Lot Full sign went up. It was a holiday weekend at 5am- so this is probably not the case errday, but it was fine. Found a parking spot and a shuttle soon after. The drivers have a method to make sure they get thise who have been waiting longest first. The drive is about 3 minutes. Of course they give you a ticket with your parking spot locale to have handy when your back. Its a tad mor exp than Eco Park at IAH, but there are coupons avail somewhere. Upon leaving the cashier was pleasant and offered me a bottle of water. The Spot is OK in my book. read more

If you are accustomed to covered parking, stripped spots with space numbers, and concrete lots this place is not for you. We have used this particular lot at Hobby a few times. On one particular trip, we had to walk to the front of the lot as we were never picked up at our vehicle. This last time, we walked out of the airport and found the shuttle waiting. The driver wouldn't open the doors until we knocked on the door even though there was six of us standing outside the shuttle looking at him. He did not assist anyone with their luggage and just stood beside his seat watching. Once we got to the parking lot, we could hardly hear him when he would mumble what aisle we were on. He drove past our vehicle and continued to the end of the aisle and stopped. Therefore, we had to walk to the other end of the aisle. He had already taken another family to the wrong aisle and expected them to walk across the lot. It was 1:30 a.m. and everyone was very tired. The exit attendant was polite and offered everyone a cold bottle of water and explained how to get our points as my husband couldn't find his rewards card. read more

I park the Parking Spot whenever I travel but there's definitely a difference between their Hobby location and their location at IAH. The Parking Spot 2 does not have any covered parking area, and you usually have to wait for shuttle buses longer than usual to take you to the airport. Their arrival service isn't as efficient as IAH as well. Last night it took them 45 min to pick me up and drop me off after I called for a pick up. Their staff is very friendly and their fees are affordable, but this location does run efficiently and it might be easier to park at the airport parking lot. read more

Terribly managed uncovered lot. When I arrived to the lot a driver passed by me as I was getting my luggage out of the car. Although the driver looked right at me the bus passed me by. I was left there standing for 10 minutes while other drivers returned to the lot and parked. I didn't walk to the front office because I thought one of the drivers would surely be coming in a moment. When a driver finally did pick me up he said that another driver, parked, informed him that I was standing there. So one or more of the drivers parked noticed I was there but didn't pick me up. Then when I did get picked up we didn't immediately leave for the airport. Instead we drove around the entire lot picking up everyone else before we could leave. In total I was in their lot for nearly 30 minutes. I could. Have walked from their lot to the airport faster. Since the lot is not covered I find there to be no perk of parking at this facility versus the other 2 off site lots nearby. Won't be parking here again. read more

Nightmare!!! Surely it isn't that hard to run a parking business. Made the reservation. Pulled up to 4. Yes 4 "employees" standing around. Machine that scans tickets was broken. Took a few minutes for the incompetent "employee" to figure that out. Had to back up. Wait in line Pull thru. Scan. Park. Wait again for a shuttle. 10 more minutes even tho there are shuttles and ppl everywhere. Took over 20 min to park and leave lot. Assisted in making us late for our flight. Never using this company again. Parking spot used to get it right Not anymore apparently. Poor selection of "staff". Zero sense of care or urgency. I am probably like most people. If you do not want to spend $20 a day to park inside the airport you park here. I hate the fact that you can get in from a flight and have to wait 20 minutes at arrivals to be picked up.... Service is bleh.... Personnel is bleh.... Giving this location a 4 only because there is no covered parking. Other than that this is a good spot to park. It is directly across the street from the main terminal and very accessible. Upon drive up they tell you which row to park in then wait for the driver to come around. Remember to give them the two digit location of your row. Upon exit they offered a bottle of cold water.
