Chilled at @parksidebrewery the other day and got a flight. Isn't this set up with a bench cute for PARKSIDE? They have a good variety of drinks to choose from and a few games to play. I wouldn't recommend it for a huge group unless it is nice out as they do have limited seats inside.

Finally made it out to The Parkside Brewery to give their beers a try. This was our second pit stop of the afternoon for beers. We dropped in on a Saturday afternoon (around 4:00pm) and it was bumping. Barely could snag a table to sit at. Fun that they have a shuffleboard table. There were 10 beers on tap (two guest taps) along with Greenhill Cider and wine. There's a fairly large selection of merchandise along with some signed memorabilia and a jersey hanging in the rafters from Ryan Johansen. - Flight ($9.00) - we went with dreamboat hazy IPA, attack of the "cherry" stout, The 101 Brewhouse tart hibiscus wheat ale and R&B winter bock. Flight comes in cute park bench vessels and their cups seem similar in style to Bridge Brewing. None of the beers stood out to me. Fairly standard, generic and bland. If I'm picking a brewery along Brewer's Row, TPB isn't one of them. 2.5 stars.

Overall, this is a brewery that's worth your while to visit. There are several good beers here. I tried mostly ipas. I had the dreamboat hazy ipa, human ipa, graffiti west coast ipa and nitro button dry Irish stout. My favorite beer was the dreamboat hazy ipa - hoppy but not too high in alcohol content (for an ipa). They also have some snacks you can purchase as well as a food truck outside. I'm not sure if it's the same truck everyday, but it was the wings food truck today. The environment is fairly cozy, with several small tables inside and some tables outside. They have some cool merchandise. Some t-shirts and sweaters that have cooler logos than other breweries. The service is also good -friendly and efficient servers.

The short: - tried and liked multiple beers, mainly ipas - visited the brewery twice since 2019 and would love to go back again due to their beer, service, and dog allowance (in patio) The long: - good covid measures: physically distanced seating, staff wore masks, directional path, contact tracing, QR code menu - my fav beers are: human an ipa for the people, dusk pale ale, dreamboat - offer flights of beer - friendly, and quick service - close to other great breweries (example: twin sales, yellow dog) - food trucks nearby - have restrooms - limited dedicated parking but more parking in the park on the other side of the street

It was very busy here during a Saturday afternoon so we got a 4 pack Pleasantside to go. No complaints about the beer but parking and seating were both indeed scarce on this hot summer day.

I had a sip of one of their beer not sure what it's call. It did tasted refreshing. I am amazed of how this place has a different licence compared to pubs. So for this venue, you can bring kids along. Such a fun family gathering place. There is an area for kids to play. Also pets are allowed too. Cool -

Since we moved to Port Moody (4 years ago) Parkside has become our favourite local brewery hands down. Great beer (humans IPA / Dreamboat are my fav) and the customer service is always very friendly , quick and helpful. We use to bring our kids her Pre-Covid fairly regularly because they always had toys and puzzles for the kids at the back of the bar. I also contacted them privately about there shirts and hats (and asked who supplied them) and they were very helpful in sending me all the info (which I used and made my company shirts as well) Highly recommended.

Long story short, the beers we had were solid, and the atmosphere was pretty good too. Nothing stood out flavourwise, but everybody in our group of 5 enjoyed their beers. I had a very satisfying cherry stout that I would get again if/when I do another brewery crawl in Port Moody. One other note, there was a surprising amount of children out at Parkside at around 6pm. If you aren't a fan of tiny people running around, sit at the tall tables instead of the short picnic style ones. All in all, I would come back to Parkside as part of a brewery crawl in Port Moody, but wouldn't come back and ONLY come to Parkside.

This brewery is cute. They have little park benches as the vessel to serve their flights in. Service is OK, not overly friendly (this is my 4th or 5th visit over a few years). Beer OK, they have subtle flavors. It will appeal to you if you like lagers and not too hoppy IPAs. Patio is dog friendly so if you're allergic like me, you can sit inside. There is a nice big garage door with seating facing outwards. It's on brewery row so if you have to travel here, it's great as you can make it a destination. This is a on a very busy road, it's difficult to park. I recommend public transit, it's a 10 min. from a SkyTrain station.

A new brewery in Port Moody. Interior and exterior of the brewery are quite nice! Lots of people were standing and drinking beer. Basically the whole place was packed and full of people. It was like shoulder to shoulder and there was a lineup too. Five different beer were available. We ordered a flight of four tasters at $7. Each taster cost $2. A pint cost $7. There were 32oz and 64oz growlers. A couple of the beer tasted better than the others. I saw some people brought their own chips or tortilla chips with salsa and drank beer at the same time. This is one of the four popular breweries on the same street. I am sure some people would like to drink the beer here and then go to the other three to taste other beer.

Parkside is the latest entrant to the microbrewery street of Port Moody. The place is park themed, and they do a very good job of it. Parking is plentiful in the lot beside the building. Special mention, as most of the other places on this street are rather lacking in this department. The place must've been a garage at some point. Huge bay doors, and plenty of space for production. Inside seating was completely full when we showed up, but fortunately there's a large patio with many large benches in front. Special mention. This place gives the seating area behind Yellow Dog a run for its money. Going along with the park theme, this place has the most creative flights I've seen in a long time. The flights are served on mini park benches. They are so cute and awesome, I wonder how many of them go missing. Another special mention. Flights are $7, which are reasonable. As of the time of writing, they only had 5 brews in production. Hopefully that has gone up since. I hope to be back when the weather warms up again.

**COVID-19 Review** The Hubs and I decided to try it once again. We were here on a sunny Monday in July afternoon and we were immediately seated at 6:03pm. The flights are chosen and priced by each beer. Table service only. Dogs allowed as long as they are on leash (no biting, whining or barking). The place has a lot of outdoor seating in the front and we were fortunate to sit outside and tan. We waited until 6:07pm for our server. She came by with a tablet to take our order. We ordered a flight for $8.25. Server came back with beer in 2 mins. Beer notes as follow: - Dawn Pilsner: a stronger Pilsner than conventional brands. Not much else. - Dreamboat hazy IPA: it is definitely IPA with a stronger but sweet hop. - Dim Wit Belgian wheat ale: richness compared to the first two. Less hazy than Dreamboat, more hazy than Pilsner (of course). - Pleasant Side mixed berry ale: tastes less punchy than Kombucha, almost juice with fizz.

This brewery is buzzing with a solid crowd on a sunny day! My friend and I finished hiking Diez Vistas and wanted the reward of a cold beer and Parkside's Dim Wit did the trick! We only had a half pint as we had to drive home but wish we could have stayed longer to try more from this brewery! I love their outdoor space, especially because it makes you chat with your neighbours next to you. I love joints that breed new conversations! The only downside is their menu is stacked with IPAs and I'm not a fan. Will definitely be back to try more though!

I wanted to order a turkey panini, but the server informed me they don't have it. In fact, they only had one kind of panini available (of five) with prosciutto. I ordered that with the regular chips add-on and a non-alcoholic IPA. The panini was terrible. The prosciutto and the greens both tasted old and the whole thing was soggy. Even the cut was sloppy. The chips never came so I pointed it out when we got the bill. The server said she forgot about the chips. She came back with a minuscule bag of extremely spicy tortilla chips and said that's all the chips they had. I now understand why the place was empty on a Saturday afternoon. At least the beer was nice, otherwise this would be a 1* review.

Parking is plentiful on St. Johns, as well as the side street. There is a small lot, but it might be part of a patio. There is also a food truck (I imagine rotating) in front. The building is pretty bare bones right now. There is a bar area, 2 seating areas, and a stage for what I assume will be future live music. And of course the patio area in front. The venue was still doing a soft opening as of the time of writing. As they haven't received their flight paddles yet, there were no flights available. I was forced to order 16oz sleeves instead. The taster glasses still say FMF (Fraser Mills Fermentation) on them. At this point, the beers are honestly quite mediocre. Everything was quite bitter despite being non ales, including the "lighter" ones such as the Cerveza and the Citrus IPA. I honestly had a bit of trouble deciding what to order, as nothing really stood out in a good way. The staff were understanding though, which is greatly appreciated. Honestly at this point it might be better to give them a few weeks to work out the kinks.

I also tried the prickly pear sour, which sounded better in theory, but I wasn't mad that I tried it. A lot of my friends like the light beer (only 110 cal!) and the raspberry flavoured one. They're also well known for their deep dish style pizza. Although we were stuffed from dinner earlier, we knew we had to try it. Despite having no appetite, I still enjoyed the couple of bites I had. I liked that there was an even distribution of ingredients and the thickness of the pizza added texture and enjoyment. I don't frequent Port Moody, but would love to check this place out again if I'm in the area.
