Bf was obsessed with his breakfast here. It was our first meal together of a 3 week trip and still one of the ones that stands out the most. He literally asked if we could come back for breakfast the next morning, even though by then we were staying an hour away! I liked that there was an outdoor seating option, wasn't expecting that. My food had a great comforting and slightly spicy taste - I wish I could have smothered myself as well as my enchiladas in that green chile. Bf's had chorizo in it, he was ecstatic. He has a great fondness for what he calls tasty "slop" and this 100% hit the mark for him. read more

Arriving here at 11:30 on a Tuesday, the place was surprising busy. The parking lot is very cramped, but I was able to find a spot within a few minutes. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, and you get to seat yourself. The waitress immediately noticed me and got us menus and water. I ended up ordering the Mexican omelette, which was alright, but I probably wouldn't get it again. My friend got the burger and fries, and he seemed to like it. Overall I was pretty satisfied with this place. The only reason why I'm giving it four stars instead of five is they use styrofoam take out boxes. A bit hard to find, but well worth it. Service was very friendly while not overbearing. Two eggs, a slice of French toast, three slices of perfectly cooked thick-cut bacon, and an order of fruit for less than $10. All of it delicious. I'll be back again. read more

We stopped here for lunch based on reviews and we were not disappointed. It's not a fancy place and parking was a challenge (small lot & crowded). However, it was well worth it. Everything we tried was delicious. I had the Mexican Torta. The pork was very flavorful. Highly recommend the food here. Among our group - we also had the Tres Amigos - the serving was huge and my friend thoroughly enjoyed this meal; the Southwest salad was also large and very good; street tacos (pork) - also very tasty. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. But, I think the pork was the most recommended dish. Service was pleasant & fast. read more

Don't let the look of the place fool you...it's in an odd building and is near a bunch of dealerships and mechanics, but you NEED to go in! My wife got the Migas Cuatros Quesos and I got the Breakfast Enchiladas, and both plates were great. The waiter was busting his but taking care of several tables, the portions were large, and it was cheap. 10/10! read more

I've been a 30 year long periodic customer. The food is good standard breakfast affair but nothing stands out as exceptional. They use to offer Nopales con Huevo, a pretty rare and delicious dish, but that is gone. They have a good regular clientele being located in an industrial area, good service for the workers and customers there. read more

Hidden behind some auto repair and parts shops, this little cafe seems to have a dedicated group of regulars that enjoy the good food and cozy atmosphere. There is no sign-in sheet so when it gets busy be sure to stay in line. After placing an order the food arilrives quickly and is quite good. Also, the prices are very reasonable for a restaurant within the Boulder city limits. If you are staying nearby at the Courtyard Marriott, do yourself a favor and skip the $7 muffin at the hotel bistro and head over here instead. read more

Nothing special here, except that it's exactly what you think it is! Classic breakfasts with a good mix of mexican choices thrown in. If you're tired of the upscale, Patagonia dress code, overfull Boulder eating establishment, come over here! Don't look for organic, local, Omega-3, just order and eat it. Enjoy! She recommended the carnitas in the breakfast enchiladas and they were delicious. Served in corn tortillas with a side of very good refried beans and Parkway potatoes. Thanks to my fellow yelpers I found a really good breakfast/brunch spot. I arrived about 1 PM and found a spot on the patio to enjoy the great weather. I had the breakfast burrito covered with green chili and it was so good, the green chili is not that hot but has a good taste. The burrito is a good size and it really hit the spot since I hadn't had breakfast. The service was attentive without being bothersome and plenty of pleasant attitudes and smiles from the staff. I will be back to enjoy another breakfast burrito when I happen to be in Boulder on a Saturday. They close at 2 PM on Saturdays so get there early. read more

We headed here based on reviews from you fine people and you certainly didn't let us down. Our goal was to fill up before our rafting trip and that goal was definitely achieved. I had the Migas Quattro Queso. Holy amazing - perfect amount of spice and zing paired with delicious cheese and green chili sauce. Best Migas I have ever had...and we lived in San Antonio for three years so that is saying a lot. The other three in our group were so happy with their choices as well. In Colorado, I was able to discover one of my favorite breakfast places to date. We were at the end of our trip, and I had yet to find something that really wowed me in regard to food. This place is off the beaten path. If you're looking for a suburban, hip, or high class place that serves overpriced mimosas and $15.00 toast, this isn't your jam. You can seat yourself walking in. Breakfast is Mexican inspired and served all day. You get nice portions for a very reasonable price. It's not super visually pleasing inside, and in fact you might be a little confused at first if you're in the right place. However, it's very clean and has some excellent service. For me, that's an good sign that a restaurant is delicious. The Mexican hot chocolate was to die for, as was the green chile sauce. If there is a dish on the menu that has this sauce, I totally plead for you to try it. My omelette was absolutely amazing, as were the potatoes. You'll be greeted with a genuine smile on arrival and as you leave. If and when I return to Boulder, I cannot wait to visit this wonderful place again! read more

I practically licked my plate. Perfectly cooked eggs, delicious salsa, so comforting. I ate the whole thing because I just couldn't help myself. My friend ordered the blueberry pancakes and she was very happy too. I took a bite and they were delicious. Our waitress was awesome. We told her we were from out of town and she gave us a bunch of tips...and then went and asked around to get us even more information! Great service too. If you come here looking for a fancy place, you will be disappointed. It is not fancy, but it IS great food, warm people, classic diner breakfast place. You could walk in to here in your PJs looking like crap and they would smile, seat you, pour you some coffee, and give you excellent food. Note: IT IS off the beaten path. I've been going there for years and ordering this delicious breakfast sandwich, but when I went today it was no longer on the menu. When I asked if they could still make it they said no. Parkway Cafe management, if you are reading this PLEASE BRING BACK THE BUENOS DIAS TORTA!!!! This is my Boulder based families go to spot for local breakfast. They have a fantastic menu, and specialize in Mexican dishes! Everything is always super fresh, and everything is homemade. Staff are experienced and friendly. Today Melissa was our server today, and was fantastic. She didn't miss a beat, which was easy to do, with a party of 20! A diamond in the rough! Tucked away in an industrial part of Boulder sits the Parkway Cafe. Their menu boasts traditional breakfast and brunch eats as well as some Mexican choices. I had the breakfast enchiladas and they were TDF! Fresh, fluffy eggs cooked with green peppers and onions, then stuffed into a pillowy corn tortilla. Yes, pillowy! Not dry and crumbly like corn tortillas are known to be. The green chili was fabulous and I couldn't decide whether to drink it or smother it over my entire plate. The Parkway potatoes were seasoned and cooked to perfection and the refried beans just the right touch to complete the dish. The only thing that wasn't spectacular was the coffee but it was on par with what you usually get in a diner. I will remember this place the next time I find myself in Boulder for breakfast! read more

We're from Texas so I would like to think we have a good taste for good Mexican breakfast and this place has got it going on. Chilaquiles were definitely fresh and the sauce has a ton of flavor. If you like no-frills greasy spoons then try this place. It's located in an industrial area and many of the customers are regulars who work around there. This gives the place a real homey feel. The waitresses are classic diner waitresses who make you feel right at home, and the service is excellent. The diner is a large place with plenty of room between seating areas. There's even an outdoor seating area. They do a good business, yet usually there's no wait. The food is typical diner fare and everything I've ever eaten there has been great.
