Helped my friends move into their apartment and we were craving pizza. This place is nice and spacious inside + has plenty of seating to sit and hangout. We did take it to go but nice to know the option is there. They did take a while for the order but everything was very good! I was so hungry I ate all the cheese bread in the car lol. We asked which pizza was the most popular, and the server recommended Tandoori. The pizza was nearly inedible because it was way too salty, and we couldn't eat two pieces. More than half the pizza was thrown away. The tandoori, in this case, was a salty powder coating the chicken. We tried picking the chicken off, but the other ingredients were salty too. I tried the mango lassi. It was ok, but was fairly bland and made with milk instead of yogurt. They were trying to blend Indian flavors with pizza; and sometimes fusions work, and at other times they don't. And this is one of those circumstances when it doesn't. They use unique proteins like lamb, tandoori chicken, Tikka chicken with unique flavors like makhni sauce,, curry, and lots of garlic, just to name a few. They do top the their pies with alot of protein, except for the lamb one. But I am not a fan of the flavor profile. Garlic really didn't stand out. Granted, I haven't delved much into Infian flavors. And would much rather prefer Thai curry than Indian curry. But it just didn't feel like those flavors belonged on a pizza. Yes it was good. And it was interesting. But just not my cup of tea. Inside it looks like a lot of pizza places I side, however, that is where any similarity to your average pizza spot ends there. The service is very polite and friendly, however, a bit slow given they have not been open very long. To me, this is understandable. Growing pains happen. Now, for the most important part, the food. The food is fantastic. We had the tandoori wines and the tandoori BBQ chicken pizza. The wings were done in a slightly spicy rub. There are 3 spice levels here, and it's at a 2. They were awesome! Some of the best flavor I've had in wings. It's got more of a complex flavor than straight up heat like regular hot wings. The pizza was tandoori spiced chicken on top of a nicely cooked crust, BBQ sauce, cheese and red onion. I'm so happy my partner threw this idea out there when I suggested pizza. I will be back.
