The clientel are nice. Most of them regulars. No nonsence place. Everyone makes you feel at home. One man is a know it all and angry. He is a very uneducated person and a pain in the bar stool. Other than that it is great. The bartenders are very nice. The only bad think is it is a very bad part of Sanbernardino and Highland. Homeless are always walking the streets and camped in the wash and everywhere. They burned down a building sevral blocks to the east. The prices are fine on the low end. The beeer could be colder. You get great service and most have a good laugh and conversation. The owner is old and has a little dog she says bites. Most get along just fine with the dog. If she knows it bites and tells everyone does not get her off the hook if it does bite someone. She will get her skinny toes sued. The place s not my kind of world but for a dive bar it is nice. This is a spectacular bar that my wife and I first visited on 3/17/19. We were passing through the area again on 3//21/19 and couldn't resist stopping by so we headed over. We were shocked and saddened to find that Party Doll was closed & had been red tagged on 3/20/19 after a drunk driver (from elsewhere) drove through one of their walls, causing significant damage. Incredibly no one was injured. Our hearts go out to the owner, the bartenders and the awesome regulars of this unique spot. We sincerely hope that Party Doll will recover soon. We would be happy to contribute to a Go Fund Me if there is one. 3/31/19 update: The Party Doll has reopened! Go support this awesome little gem of a bar. :-) read more

I came to party doll on a Saturday night. It was kind of empty because it was still kind of early but the inside truly surprised me! This is a super chill bar. Clean restrooms, music, pool tables and nice atmosphere. People who come in are nice and from what I've seen, never try and start a problem. Every bartender is very nice. (Owner is a downright bitch and everyone would tell you that). I know in some of the other places, (which I quit going to), they look for an argument, but not here. This seems like a cool spot. Small dive bar, herb smell, but 3 huge TVs and 1 of them was showing some poker matches. Awesome Forsure in my opinion. Good music blasting here, they have 2 billiards tables and many pool cues to use. We got here the bar tender didn't take to long to attend to us. She was taking care of another customer and she went in order of who came to bar counter. So she had a good memory of who came in. She had us lower our masks n show our ID's to make sure we are who we claimed to be. Cool little precaution. No bouncer or anything that I can see. I asked for a White Russian but they didn't have cream or milk, but she made it anyways. I think she used whip cream as a substitute which was creative. Not the worst I ever had but, still hit a good spot in my heart cuz she was inventive enough to still land within the "landing zone" when it came to flavor notes. Hmm idk if I recommend it cuz...my first time here...but if I went to watch another late movie I come by here again Forsure. There is a good crowd here and it doesn't feel weird. The bar bathroom situation is unsanitary because the toilet paper has had poop on it multiple times, the air dryer hardly works and there is no paper towels. There is a towel that everyone uses to dry their hands and I've seen people blow their noses on it. My car was vandalize while I was trying to enjoy the football game a few weeks ago by some people who tried to start a fight with me. I also saw bed bugs in the bathroom and under the bar. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone or even if I for free drinks. And people are very disrespectful Ben. read more

Classic neighborhood dive bar with a great bunch of regulars, serves the only draft Bud around that doesn't give me a headache. In addition to keeping their pipes and hoses clean, they have an ingenious system that fills glasses and pitchers from the bottom up, saving them a ton of money by not having to pour beer down the drain. I watched the Super Bowl at PD earlier this year and had a great time. read more

I drove by this last Friday and noticed they were serving under tents out back. 11/13/20 So I stopped by later in the early evening about 6:30 pm and there was no one out back. Everyone was inside. I counted 20 patrons all seated next to each other and some standing at the bar top. No one was wearing a mask, not even the bartender. I sat at a table across the bar and had a mask on. I was approached by a woman who claimed to be the owner. She told me to leave as she was offended that I was wearing a mask. Said that I was insinuating that everyone else was sick because I had a mask on. Wow, really. Ok KAREN. I left and reported this to the health department. Ignorance is bliss. read more

What can I say? it is what it is. Looks pretty sketchy In a sketchy neighborhood. it's as Divey as a Dive Bar can be. serves its purpose. Come in, Get a beer, have some peace and quiet, get faded after a long day, go home.
