This store definitely has some interesting party items, but they are not reasonably priced at all, and a huge majority of items didn't have any price on them at all. After having to ask the price on the four different items we picked up, and the cashier saying oh I think it's like 2.49 or 2.99....we just decided to go to a regular store. I was on the hunt for some supplies for our Yelp Elite Event tonight, and could not find them at office supply stores, was so glad to see that Party City is open for business and fully stocked. I was able to find drink tickets, wristbands, and other things I needed easily.. I even grabbed a couple of Saint Patrick's day wearables just for fun! Their prices are a little bit higher than your average big Box store, but this is a great 1 stop shop for just about anything you would need for a party or event. I will definitely stop here next time I'm in a hurry and need some balloons, decorations, or other supplies. read more

I am not at all surprised by the 3 star rating of this place. I called on Saturday at 10 am and told the Asian man that answered the phone that I wanted to order a small balloon bouquet to pick up in 1 or 2 days. I was told that I needed to come in to order (why would I drive from Seattle to Lynnwood, then back to Seattle? Only to drive to Lynnwood the next day, pick up balloons on the way to.Snohomish? Stupid) or he said, I could call back in 4 hours. He was too busy. I wouldn't buy anything from this place. Rude rude rude. Go to Champion Party Supplies. They bent over backward to make me feel like I was important and they appreciated my business. It is totally worth the drive. An amazing company who treats their employees so well. I worked for them when I was much much younger and they were always so accommodating to my life and we were treated as family. This is a small locally owned business. I highly suggest them, I commute from Tacoma all the way here just for balloons because you simply cannot get a better selection of balloons anywhere else. Party city is outrageous with their prices and there are way more colors here in terms of balloons. In order to keep money in the pockets of our community members, we must be patrons at locally owned businesses. 1000% recommend and if you have any questions on building elaborate balloon arches, just ask, they know everything! read more

Horrible customer service--- Came in yesterday and they were only accepting cash only. Please put a sign in door if that is the case... This is not the first time. Not sure what's going on in this particular store. Time to call corporate office. Crappy customer service on top of obvious dysfunctional business practices. I actually came in to purchase a small helium tank. The manager said they were $50. I just looked at her in disbelief...I then went to Walmart where the exact same helium tank is $23. Last minute stop for birthday morning decorations. We were greeted immediately upon entering, and checked on a few times, but the guy sweeping the floor was kind of surly and the young lady behind the register lost points when she took a personal phone call at the end of my transaction, then after a few minutes of me standing there, waiting for my receipt, she says "you're all done." and continues with her conversation. The store has such a weird layout. It's hard to figure out where anything is, the aisles aren't labeled, and they're different lengths, which is odd. Price-wise, I felt it was way over what I've paid at other party supply stores. I picked up a Happy Birthday banner that was priced at 12.99. I've never paid that much for a birthday banner, ever. I had originally planned on picking up all of the party supplies here, but I just grabbed what I absolutely needed & got out. I'll go elsewhere for the rest! read more

You can't miss this store... it's easy to find and parking is plentiful. I needed balloons for my sister's baby shower and, because I couldn't fit my order in my small car, I needed it delivered to the venue. What a huge help Anthony and Amir were... Anthony was so patient in helping me put my order together, and Amir was thorough in explaining his delivery policy and delivered in the window time of delivery he said he would. I picked a few photos online that resembled what theme I was aiming for, and Anthony helped me assemble my plan. Selection is plentiful, prizes are reasonable... and my experience was a good one. Sure, this isn't the big competitor... but, Party Store didn't disappoint me! We've bought balloons from the party store before but this was the last time. We brought in balloons and were charged $16.99 to fill just one balloon that was defective but they don't tell you until pick up and you are still charged, no reimbursement, discount or sympathy. Spent close to $100 for 12 balloons, ridiculous. This policy should change or sadly stores like this won't last. We won't be coming back. read more

Great service!!!!! The staff there was so friendly and accommodating to me! I had a last minute balloon bouquet I needed (I totally forgot it was that very day) I went to several dollar stores for balloons they were all out of helium! Lastly I remember seeing The Party Store but never stopped in there before. I went in and explained my situation with the young lady that works there and she was great!!! Brand new building & the displays still look frumpy. The isles don't have headers so I ended up wandering around feeling lost. Pricing is inconsient. Sometimes a display peg will have the price, other times the price is sticker tagged on the back. Found a lot of items with no price anywhere. When I mentioned to the cashier the missing prices she told me to guide her to all the places prices were missing so she could take care of it. Nice offer but there were prices missing in so many places that I didn't want to spend MY time showing her. Employees reasonably friendly but they spend most of their time at the front of the store. I thought it would be fun to shop here but I won't be back when Fred Meyer is across the street & Michaels Crafts & Joann Fabrics a few minutes drive. read more

We had a really good experience here on a Friday morning. Although some items aren't priced yet (they seem to be short staffed as there is a sign on the door saying that they're hiring for all positions) we were asked twice if we needed any help, we were able to find almost everything we needed for my daughter's second birthday (although I suggest bringing in some stickers - there isn't much selection) and when we finished shopping the woman who rang us up was very friendly, and a man asked us about my daughter and talked to us about his son's birthday party in July. We found everyone to be extremely friendly and helpful. At the end of our transaction the man who we were talking with said "wait here, I am going to get a present for your daughter" and he came back with a helium birthday balloon. It was a nice personal touch and we appreciated it. Didn't have the negative experience the other reviewers seemed to have. Perhaps the store is just having a tough time getting off the ground with its move/consolidation into one store from several locations and maybe a change in ownership? That's got to be tough. Would have been 5 stars if they'd had items priced properly and more selection of stickers. :-) read more

I never write reviews but this place is horrible. It's dark, dirty, messy and has a confusing layout. I walked up to the counter to ask a salesperson where to find a certain item. She was telling the other sales girl at the counter a story. I said "excuse me, I have a question for you" and I kid you not, she looked at me and then went back to talking to the other salesgirl. I was shocked. She also had her child there who was running around the store. Worst customer service experience of all time. read more

Stopped on here this morning to look for a few things I could use for my grandsons birthday decorations that I am making. Was not greeted by the woman who was standing at the register closest to the door but someone towards the end of the store. Walked every aisle found a few things, as I was approaching the register area, the woman with a foreign accent looked me in the eyes and walked away. Another customer came in and approached the counter as well. After standing there for few moments she asked if I had been helped. I told her no, the woman walked away from me. We stood there longer while I was contemplating leaving my items on the counter when the young lady who h ad hollered hi to me when I came into the store, came out of the backroom carrying s large box of freight. Asked if we had been helped told her no, she called out "Sally" put her box down, and rang me up. Finally "sally" came and helped the 2nd customer at the end of my transaction. The young lady who helped me was very apologetic. Will not be coming back here. read more

Not sure if it's a management problem or staff problem. Staff is pretty nice and helpful, depending on the person. Perhaps they've been burned too many times as a business, but the whole establishment seems overly frugal (or cheap). I've spent so much money here getting costumes, decorations and balloons, but today when one of my balloons popped right when I walked outside, I went back in thinking they would replace it for me. But instead when I walked back in saying it popped, there was no eye contact, no offer to blow up another balloon, and just poor interpersonal skills with the staff. I ended up walking out and not demanding another balloon. It's the little things that keep me coming back to a business and this little thing spoke loudly. P.S. Their balloon air ratio is off sometimes. Way over blown or way under. Too bad there's no other party store here. read more
