    Tequila Pineapple

I think most of the reviews on here are pretty spot-on. They do a decent job with everything but it does not necessarily offer anything that makes you want to come back time and time again. It is pretty cool that they are steps away from Sloan's Lake Park but I would say that's the only thing that makes them unique. I got a tequila pineapple there which was made pretty well with a generous amount of tequila but no tajin or salt and I had to ask for a lime. Not a huge deal. Ambiance is interesting there. It was dead quiet with no music or if there was it was turned down so low that I don't remember any playing. It almost felt awkward being in there. Service was good. Bartender was personable and timely. I think the best time to come here would be during sunset sitting at the patio with a view of Sloan's and your friends.

This is a great venue for sports fans who enjoy the outdoors. Bar opens huge glass doors onto the lakeside, and has a Big beautiful patio. Sadly, it was too hot to open the bar windows. Don't recall any music playing, which is always disappointing. Service at the bar was good and friendly, but did not inspire banter that keeps me paying, so I left after the first drink.

As I was growing up many of my best memories were hanging out with family and friends on our back patio, so when I saw a restaurant named The Patio I had to give it a go! As you drive by at night you can feel the good vibes emanating from this bar. Pretty hip was my first impression. Lots of neighborhood regulars and visitors-- A pretty good mixture of people. I ate here quite a few times while visiting my mom at the PAM hospital down the street. I tried the 3 different burgers on their menu and also their fish tacos. I also got feedback from my uncle that the ahi tuna salad was fantastic! The burgers were amazing! The Mushroom Swiss is worthy of an entry in the annual top burger in Denver competition. The Patio Burger with avocado and bacon was also quite tasty. The mouthwatering Southwest Burger was perfect with just the right amount of heat! I had to walk back and compliment the kitchen staff! The servers were fun one was named Emily and she was great. Also was served by bartender when I sat at a table in the bar area and he stopped by a few times making that trek from behind the bar out to check on me. Whether you're enjoying a day in the park, visiting relatives in the hospital/rehab down the street, or just want a great burger after work this place rocks. I hope The Patio participates in Denver's Best Burger competition they just might win! I can walk to Park Burger from my house but would rather drive over here! The brunch menu looks great as well! Cheers!

Was not expecting this brunch to be this good!! We were trying to find a spot to watch the Penn state game AND get food and this place knocked it out of the park! The bloody Mary's were AMAZING. I got mine spicy and it was really quite delicious. I also got the vampire breakfast tacos and I couldn't believe the presentation! I appreciated the tacos bc even though they looked like a lot, they really weren't too fancy or over the top. They were super flavorful. The breakfast burrito was MASSIVE and delicious! Can't wait to come back for brunch again!

Great time sitting on their patio and enjoying drinks + food with my friends. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with getting us seated Friday evening without a reservation. I really enjoyed the cocktails and food we got! Drinks: Purple Haze, Huckleberry Fizz, & Honey Bear cocktails Food: Chips & Queso, Ahi Tuna

Came here on a Friday after a nice walk around the lake. I was just opening, so there was plenty of seating. They have indoor seating and heated outdoor seating with a canopy to stay warm and shielded you from the wind. We were helped immediately, and our waiter was on top of his game. He was even able to split all of our checks individually. Overall, the experience was great however, the food could definitely be improved. The food was average. With the Caesar chicken wrap, the chunks of chicken were just way too big. And this type of wrap that needs to be cut into smaller pieces or shredded because an entire bite of chicken is kind of gross. On top of the tortilla just didn't do it for me. It would've been nice if they for maybe 10 seconds on each side, put the tortilla on a pan to make it a little bit crispier. Also, in a Caesar salad, you get croutons so I would expect that the wrap should have at least a few croutons in there to give it that crunchy texture. The fries were absolutely delicious and so was the salad so can't complain there!! Totally recommend if you're looking for a spot around the lake. I would definitely come back, especially in summer. However, I'd probably try something different. Overall 4/5 stars!

So, with no check-ins, I never received a "write a review" reminder. One of those oddities of life I guess. This place slaps. I only learned that phrase in the last two years, so it still feels odd to say. For those unhip, unaware, or older than me folks, "Slap" is a slang verb meaning "to be excellent or amazing." I guess, this is the new amazeballs, which I actually once enjoyed using as a descriptor. Barfly (yes, as I type it, I keep hearing "Barf-Lee", which is less than appetizing), is great. This is the lounge/big bar/small stage/event area just to the left as you walk in to the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Sloans Lake. Which is my favorite place to see films. If you do not like Alamo Drafthouse, you are probably one of those terrible human beings who enjoy talking and texting during films. Which if you did not know, may be fine for your living room, but is trash behavior in a movie theatre. Feel free to fight me on this. Barfly has comedy. It has game show night. It hosts groups showing horror films. It has live music. It has trivia. It has drag queen bingo (hmmm, why is there no "drag queen trivia"?). It has a full bar with solid beer offerings. It has the entire Alamo theatre menu available. It has hard working staff members (Rae and Sam are extra awesome). It has varied seating (stools, chairs -- both high & low, leather armchairs and couches). It has big televisions. It . . . it . . . it . . . slaps.

I've been there a couple times for a very unique comedy show that you really don't find anywhere else. I have found the staff to be very friendly. At first... it felt like we wouldn't be accepted here, but we learned over time that... everyone is accepted, it just takes time for people to get to know you! The bar has spent money to update things, and the front area for sure is nice and welcoming, and the dance floor and lounge area out back are also nice! The red lights have added just the right glow. The bar owner and the staff have always been nice; super nice. The bar manager is a sweetheart. There have been a few patrons who... over the years have maybe not been the nicest, but the bar staff always handles it appropriately. They have signs about lewd behavior now posted around, and they come by to check out areas with regularity, as well as to grab your empty drink cups, etc etc etc -- a fun space to dance and just people watch; handsome furry men getting sweaty -- I can't think of anything better. :) It can be super packed busy... or not very. I usually check Google Maps before heading out just to see like... how busy it is. It sometimes takes a bit to get hopping, but once it does? It's busy busy. The front areas are very narrow is my only complaint sometimes, and I'm a small guy... so I know that some people are like... grrr at having to wait for a path to clear at times... but it never takes long. Drinks are reasonable. Clothes check is (usually) available. Various DJs come and spin. It's a good time... and everyone may just be as shy as you I've learned. Say hi! Most people enjoy being admired, just saying! ;) -- See you boys out there! :D

The tap list reads like a Central European passport ~ German Pilsner, Baltic Porter, Roggen, Bohemian Dunkel ~ all brewed with restraint, balance, and intention. But what makes this place special isn't just the beer. It's Jerry greeting people like old friends. It's Cathy making sure you're comfortable. It's Adam brewing like he understands he's carrying legacy, not just recipes. The White Stout was the sleeper hit. Creamy body, roasty character, smooth finish ~ without the dark pour you expect. It's the kind of beer that makes you pause mid-sip and go, "Okay... they know what they're doing." The taproom feels warm and unpretentious. Industrial but inviting. You'll see regulars at the bar, flights lined up like a color wheel, and zero ego behind the counter. Seedstock doesn't scream for attention. It earns respect. If you appreciate craft beer rooted in tradition rather than trends, this is one of Denver's most underrated breweries. I'll absolutely be back ~ especially for that White Stout.
