I che med out the Patio with coworkers during our lunch hour. It was our first time there. It's very close off the highway . The parking is a bit confusing. I missed the entrance to the parking lot and made a circle and finally was able to ask someone. The restaurant itself is very spacious with many big tv screens on the wall. Music playing as well. It was very empty when we arrived for lunch .maybe it gets busier dinner time and on weekends. The owner was great, very friendly. The menu is big lots of wonderful Spanish dishes too choose from. It was one for menu for lunch and dinner. I had the Yuca because I wasn't as hungry. I also ordered a mango smoothie. My coworkers ordered different salads and they looked amazing. My yuca was delicious! I'd love to go again and try a main dish for sure. My suggestion is they should have some specials ..., if they don't have a lunch menu maybe advertise a special Or 2 of the day . They also have music live music. I'd check their website or their social Med for more details

Waterbury has a new Latin restaurant where Shamrocks previously was. The cuisine draws inspiration from Colombia, Ecuador, and Mexico. During the soft opening, I tried one of their daily specials, the beef stew with white rice and sweet plantain, accompanied by a bowl of pasta, cheese, and potato soup. It was all delicious, and I'm already eager to return. The grand opening is scheduled for Friday, July 21, 2023. Although it was not crowded during the soft opening, I believe the restaurant will be very popular in the future. The Patio will offer weekend DJ sets and plans to introduce Salsa classes and daily happy hour drink specials soon. The spacious venue has ample seating inside and a large patio outdoors. The staff was wonderful! My waitress was welcoming and attentive. And I chatted with the friendly owner for a bit.

It was founded by brothers Michael and David Ieronimo and their partners Christopher Urban and Kyle Ondrush. The two brothers started out as homebrewers in their mother's kitchen in the late 1980s. By 2004, David's brother-in-law Christopher and Michael's co-worker Kyle had also come into the fold. The four formed a homebrew club and brewed together out of a garage. The homebrew club evolved into a homebrewing obsession and the next logical step was starting their own brewery. They chose the name "Brass Works" as a reference to "The Brass City": the official nickname of the city of Waterbury. Kyle retired from the brewery in 2021, but the other three partners still continue to share their passion for good beer. I first visited Brass Works in June 2016. I was driving around the state visiting some breweries that were new to me. The interior of the taproom was really nice; lots of neat decorations. During my stay, I ordered a sampler flight of five beers which included: "Wee Windy English Bitter Ale", "Sweaty Sisters Blonde Ale", "Abel Porter", "Uncle Zac's Stout", and "Double Bird IPA". The latter was my favorite of the bunch; great notes of Amarillo hops! I ended up purchasing a growler of that one to bring home. Keep up the good work gentlemen!
