    Jays way wings

This is our local bar and we love it here! I have to say the menu seems to be more elevated, I've even been seeing amazing dinner special pics on facebook and they also do Sunday brunch now! Wings are great, "jays way" is grilled and fried on buffalo sauce, Good quality wings. Mozzarella was fresh made, I just wish it was brought out immediately as it was a little cold and not gooey. I noticed they have duck wings and pork shanks on the menu however they were sold out. They have a pool table and darts too! Excellent service every time, bartenders/servers always make you feel at home. Also they have a great happy hour!

Fresh cut and double battered mozzarella en carrozza with house-made marinara.

A good atmosphere. There are events such as Karaoke on Mondays and live bands on the weekends. They have a regular menu with great apps and meals. I highly recommend the mozzarella en carrozza. It is fresh 1/4" cut triangles of mozzarella double battered and fried with their house made marinara sauce that I would eat with a spoon. The burgers are all hand packed and towering high. There are weekend specials every week consisting of something seafood, something steak, something pasta, chicken etc. The French Onion soup is my favorite around. Instead of a special, it's become available daily. They also have a separate banquet room that is available for private events such as birthday parties. As with every new business, there are some hiccups and good help is hard to find, but definitely worth checking out.

    Sesame Duck Wings

We had an early dinner-our waitress was and was very attentive and efficient. I ordered the Sesame coated duck wings off the special menu- actually 6 drumettes and they were delicious. My husband got the cold roast beef sandwich with fries and loved them both. The place was nicely decorated for fall. The adjacent room for private parties looked very nice too.

The environment was friendly and welcoming. The Caesar salad was sweet and not awesome. The wings were good. The fried mozzarella was cold.

Still really good food…read more Returned to this location to see if they were still doing well. Got a full English breakfast special, minus the blood sausage. Also ordered a mocktail of a basil lemonade. The drink was not too sweet and the basil added a tiny touch of herby savoryness which was a nice accent flavor. The full English breakfast was cooked well, good quality ingredients and each element was seasoned appropriately. I could only make a small dent in the dish before sending it back satisfied. The server was friendly, but I threw them off with my quirky behavior. Lead to a little slower service and multiple requests for some items. Nothing against the establishment, just something that happened during my visit. Still a strong recommendation for Main Street, and worth a trek to try.

I'm back! I love this place! It's quiet here ) it's only a Tuesday) but we're late (arrived at 9:15…read morePM). There is no shortage of decor here! I like the huge carafe of ice water and the spicy potato chips! For my first drink, I'm having a Negroni. A negroni is an Italian cocktail, made of equal parts gin, vermouth rosso (red, semi-sweet), and Campari, generally served with ice, and commonly garnished with an orange slice or orange peel. It is considered an apéritif. They also have an Obi Wan Negroni made with Cold Brew Infused Campari instead. For my first food item, I'm having the Cream of Mushroom soup with chicken. Cream of mushroom soup is a simple type of soup where a basic roux is thinned with creamor milk and then mushrooms or mushroom brothare added. This is delicious! It's nice and hot with a lot of shredded chicken. For my entree, I'm having the Brussels Sprout Salad made with shaved Brussels sprouts, spring mix, bacon, pomegranate drizzle, silvered almonds, shaved Parmesan and lemon vinaigrette dressing. Look at the height of this! This tastes great! I am also having a side of mushy peas. Mushy peas are a traditional British side dish of marrowfat peas that are cooked until soft and mashed into a mush. The dish is especially popular in Northern England and the Midlands, and often eaten with fish and chips or served as part of "pie and peas". Here's a quick overview of mushy peas: Ingredients** Traditionally made with dried marrowfat peas, but can be substituted with frozen peas or green split peas. I love this! It's nice and hot.,What a rare treat! This is hard to find anywhere! I'm also having a side of cold slaw. Coleslaw, or "slaw" in North America, is a side dish of shredded cabbage with a vinaigrette or mayo-based dressing. The word "coleslaw" comes from the Dutch term koolsla, meaning "cabbage salad". Recipes vary by region and can include additional ingredients like carrots, apples, raisins, or celery. Coleslaw originated in the Netherlands in the 18th century, but references to similar cabbage salads appear in ancient Greek and Roman medical texts. This is the best! Nice, thick dressing! For my last drink, I'm having a Godfather. The Godfather is a sweet and strong cocktail that blends Scotch whisky and amaretto liqueur. It's typically served in an old-fashioned glass over ice and can be garnished with an orange twist. The drink became popular in the 1970s disco scene and is named after the 1972 film starring Marlon Brando and Al Pacino. Some say bartender Joe Scialom created the Godfather to capture the movie's spirit. This is done just right! Good job! What a great meal here!
