Have you ever heard about a place and thought "I'll never go there, they're WAY too busy!" Well,…read morethat's what I've always thought about Bramble. I've been interested Bramble for years but would always hear that it's impossible to be seated, especially during peak hours, so I've avoided it. Besides, Tulsa has a VARIETY of other breakfast restaurants with less wait time and are more price friendly. I held off for a while. By time I went, they weren't even at their East Downtown location anymore. But, on Friday August 8th, I saw an opening. After months of distance, I made plans with a friend to meet face-to-face for breakfast. She initially offered to meet at Wildflower but I to try my luck at Bramble (they're only a block apart). I arrived around 10:20am to check out the table wait. It was packed but I was surprised at how much floor space there was. She came about 5-10mins later and voilà! We were seated in like 5mins after that. As we coasted toward our table, in the middle toward the back, I noticed how the modern fixtures & décor compliment the rustic building: large glass windows, light fixtures throughout and large art pieces to capture your thoughts. We were met with 2 servers, one brand new & a seasoned staff-lady who was showing him the ropes. It was great having 2 servers; it felt like we got twice the attention. The experienced waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu which was great because it was HUGE. Front & back, full of appealing options. Given the capacity of the restaurant, I expected the wait for the food to be super long so when the servers returned, I asked for the Breakfast Chimichanga (something I never had or heard of before). As we caught up, I began to appreciate the ambiance & efficiency of the restaurant. Besides a few waiting to pay, no one seemed angry or displeased. The food arrived quicker than I thought! For prime-time seating, it came in about 5-10mins. Having never eaten a chimichanga before, I was definitely surprised at what I ordered and had second thoughts. It was without a doubt good but I figured the meal would've been heartier considering the list of ingredients that were included. I felt the meal was more crisp bread (tortilla) than hashbrown, eggs, or chorizo. I am 100% taking the blame on the meal because I didn't know what I want. My friend got some combination of eggs, meat, potatoes & a margarita, she loved it. Somehow, Bramble has come to be known as one of the more bourgeois brunch restaurants in all of the land. Now that I've atleast ate there, I can say that it's not as overwhelming as it's been made out to be. Unfortunately I feel like the meal choice wasn't up my alley but I do think that Bramble can be both enjoyable& fulfilling under the right circumstances. I'd be glad to return when/if the time is right.

The breakfast poutine is delicious as is the quinoa bowl. It's got a chill vibe overall with a bit of an industrial feel. If you're lucky you may get street parking, but there is a lot across the street. Pricing is average for the type of place, most plates running $10-15x

It's a cool vibe to hang out with friends and enjoy brunch . Pros: lots of variety of foods to choose from and drink options especially if your health cautious . Cons: a lot of side items are à la carte so depending on what you order so you may end up paying more than your typical local cafe . You also need to get in early or sign up on a waitlist ahead of time if you don't want to wait long to eat.

Basically, an open face egg McMuffin covered in gravy. The arrangement is a novel idea. The name caters to the Okie vernacular. It was good! My wife had the Simple Jacks, which were far from simple. These were designer pancakes. They looked like a Tik Tok Content Creator's bazar effort to make Walmart frozen pancakes more palatable. These pancakes weren't from frozen though. Fresh hot, and not ordinary; one plain, one Chocolate Chip and one Blue Berry. Check the picture. Unusual, a little on the extreme side, reminiscent of food you might find featured at the state fair. Quite tasty. Busy place. Expect to wait. We had a big comfortable booth. The service is excellent. *Not to be confused with the slang term for the illicit stimulant.

But with that said everything else was perfect with clean, comfortable beds, large modernized rooms & the front desk personnel was very professional & helpful. One other note, the Mayo has an extensive history & a number of Movies/TV shows were filmed inside including Sylvester Stallones "Tulsa Kings" Next time passing through Tulsa we will absolutely stay at the Mayo again.

I asked to switch rooms, and while the front desk initially said there were rooms available, they later said they couldn't help and that the hotel was full. The way this was communicated felt dismissive and unfriendly. There were also maintenance issues: the safety deposit box was broken, the shower splashed water everywhere due to a poorly designed shower head, and the lighting in the room was inadequate. I needed a desk to work and asked to switch rooms again, but was told no in a way that felt unwelcoming. Overall, not a great experience. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

They definitely have their own twist on things. The sweet potatoes were good but a little heavy on the nutmeg. They tasted like a mix of apple and pumpkin pie. The mac and cheese was really creamy. I really liked the horseradish coleslaw. I'm not a big fan of collard greens but I still tried them and actually thought they were pretty good. For our mains, two of us had the brisket and one had ribs. Both were super good. There were 4 different sauces. I recommend trying them all. I wanted to try the sausage but they were sold out. I guess you need to get there earlier than an hour before they closed. We finished with a couple desserts. The banana pudding was probably the best I've had. Their seasonal cobbler was blueberry and very tasty! I was hoping for peach. Maybe next time. Yes there will definitely be a next time. It was a lot of food so we had plenty left over that ate for lunch the next day. The atmosphere is super friendly and really clean. Like most barbecue places I've been to there is no table service. You order and pay at the counter. Then depending on how busy they are they will bring your food to your table or have you pick up at the counter. For me the cherry on top is their pay it forward meal. For $15 you can buy a meal for someone in need. They hand you a receipt that you pin to a board. Then when someone needs a meal they can go in and grab one off the board. They offer them their lunch special. While I was there I saw a very grateful individual come in and get a meal. The staff were super nice and treated them just like any other customer. Great food! Great service! Great value! Do yourself a favor and try this place!

We ordered the tri tip dip sandwich which was the highlight of the meal. It was delicious. We also ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and that was full of flavor. The focaccia was on the dryer side and the chicken didn't fill out the bun so it was just kind of off texture wise and lacking fullness but the favor was 10/10. The chips and red onion dip were a nice little touch. Something I've never had before and we enjoyed it
