Each plate feels composed with intention, as though the kitchen understands that a meal should do more than satisfy hunger it should lift the spirit. This is food that bridges body and soul, filling you not only with substance, but with great energy and goodness galore. There is depth in the flavors, harmony in the balance, and care in every detail. You taste the freshness. You feel the thoughtfulness. You sense the pride. The service flows with warmth and consistency steady, attentive, and genuine. And the gluten-free options are handled with such respect and creativity that my wife feels not accommodated, but embraced. That alone speaks volumes. This is food with soul. Now these top-end cuts have a price tag that I'm guessing most of us have to save up for, but they have some "regular" cuts that will bring the yum at a more affordable price. The seasonal menu highlights the freshest CO produce too, so don't forget to add some greens to the plate. Service is relaxed and friendly, unlike some of those "fancy steakhouses."

We were actually having a really good experience here. The food was good, the service was solid,…read moreand overall we were genuinely enjoying ourselves. The drinks were definitely expensive, but we were happy to pay for a quality experience at an upscale restaurant. We ordered multiple appetizers, had several drinks, sat at the bar for quite a while, and honestly about to leave thinking this was a place we would probably come back to. That changed the second the bill arrived. Buried into the check was a 7% "kitchen surcharge." In other words, the restaurant decided to pass along kitchen payroll costs directly onto the customer without being upfront about it. If you're not paying close attention, you could easily end up tipping on top of that surcharge as well, essentially paying an extra hidden fee without realizing it. At a restaurant positioning itself as upscale and classy, this came across as incredibly tacky and cheap. Pay your staff properly and price your menu accordingly instead of sneaking surprise fees onto the bill at the very end. That's not hospitality. That's the kind of nickel and diming people expect from budget airlines, not a supposedly high end dining experience. It completely ruined what had otherwise been a nice night. We were seriously considering coming back before this happened. Now we won't return.

My friends & I were staying in the area and looking for a casual spot to eat. Luckily this was in…read morewalking distance. The sound and the joy gave off such a great vibe immediately when walking into this establishment. This review is based on a sit down dinner and a take out on another night because our sit down was so good! Here's all that we tried: POST CHEDDAR BISCUITS - hot and cheesy - these were not as flakey as they looked like they were going to be. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. ROASTED BRUSSELS SPROUTS - sweet and spicy peppers, garlic mojo, cotija cheese | *a portion of sales from this item go to Zero Foodprint -- an org working to combat climate change in the food & beverage industry - these were good, great crispiness, char was flavorful and the sauce was sweet and tangy. Subsequently, I made a hash for breakfast with leftovers from here and these proved to be GOOD flavoring. GREEN CHILE BISON SAUSAGE BOARD (LAFAYETTE) - Rock river bison sausages, hard boiled eggs, dill pickles, bread and butter pickle relish, baked baguette, peach honey mustard - I'm a sucker for charcuterie, the bison sausage was so delicious, I ordered another after we finished the first. This also went into the next day hash! FRIED HALF CHICKEN - our famous gluten free fried chicken, choice of side, pickles, and a biscuit - ordered this on or second visit (takeout night) and did not regret a thing. It was fantastically fried to crispy perfection. The chicken was juicy and tasted like they brined it in pickle juice. CHICKEN TENDERS - all natural tenders, breaded and fried, served with ranch - good chicken, also went into the hash. OG POST BURGER*- american cheese, bacon onion jam, special sauce, griddled sourdough english muffin & fries - good burger, personally, I'd appreciate better cheese! QUINOA & KALE - quinoa, kale, arugula, roasted sweet potatoes, pickled red onions, roasted tomatoes, cucumbers, toasted sesame and sunflower crunch, lemon tahini dressing - the dressing MADE this salad, good job Chef! PUEBLO GREEN CHILE MAC & CHEESE - nothing spectacular, I would have liked this with more green chile and a better cheese base. The parking isn't a lot, but it didn't seem like people had trouble at all. We walked. It's a great little neighborhood restaurant. As I said early on, it was tasty enough to warrant a second visit!

It's easy to see why Bob's Diner is a favorite of locals in Louisville, CO. The day we were there,…read morethe wait was about 20 minutes for our group of six to be comfortably seated in a corner booth. Waiting wasn't a chore because there are quirky shops in the corridor outside the entrance, including a used bookshop. Our waitress was lively and very quick to get our order in and out on the table. I had an English muffin, tomatoes, avocado, spinach, two eggs, swiss, with a side of potatoes. On the menu it's called Louisville Muffin. I really liked it with the stack of veggies under the eggs. Bookguy had Carol's Potatoes: chorizo gravy-covered potatoes topped with two eggs, and a side of toast. He especially liked the chorizo gravy. A third member of our group ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, and pancakes. Everything came out just the way she liked it. It's a bit noisy when it's packed with diners as it was this day, but the food is great so no doubt we will be back when in Louisville.

The Publick House is, by far, the best restaurant in Lafayette. Others come close if you're craving…read moreother foods, but you really can't beat the wonderful and simple food that William Oliver's offers. To start off- it's a pretty simple location. It's actually quite easy to miss with Teocalli having way more business just one street down. It's got a lovely interior with lots of wood and a nice rooftop patio. Walking in, I wouldn't think much of it. The menu is relatively simple with some appetizers, salads, hot dogs, sandwiches, and some other things. Where this place shines is their bacon, and by extension their sandwiches. Multiple people I've gone with have said the JGBLT is the best sandwich they've ever had. It's certainly up there for me, just behind panino I've had in Italy. It's nothing complicated, but each part of the sandwich is so well done that the finished product is understated and overwhelming. So good. It's also the perfect portion, every time. It doesn't seem to matter how hungry I am when I come in. They have an excellent beer list with lots of things to choose from. The whiskey menu is absolutely insane, and the whiskey flights are necessary to digest it. A small thing that is really nice- their sodas. It's not just coca cola or Pepsi products- they have craft sodas, which are really excellent. Additionally, you can get their non alcoholic cocktails for the same price as just a soda, which is lovely. The daily specials are always fantastic and a good way to get something unexpected. I will be extremely sad when I have to move from Lafayette, as this restaurant is one of my favorites in the world.
