The other reviews state this already but this place is just whatever in terms of food quality, the servers here are great though! We ended up eating here for every meal in 2 days simply because of convenience since we were saying at the wuksachi lodge and there's no other restaurants inside the park. At first it was okay, but the menu is pretty limited so we had to repeat meals. The best things we had were the breakfast buffet, hamburger, and short rib!

Tbh I would say it is. 3.5. I want to begin by saying the service was amazing. It must be difficult to get fresh food up here but it should not be a challenge to make it hot. Flavor was there but only slightly warm. It is a family establishment but 5 kids circling my table throughout the meal began to make me dizzy. Thought the vibe for a 8:45 seating would be better.

Caesar salad may not look to good but it really was excellent.

Got there a little early and had to wait for our table -- it was surprisingly busy for a Monday night! We grabbed seats at the bar and ordered the Sequoia Signature Margarita, which was awesome. Our bartender, Brent, was fantastic and recommended the Apple Bourbon Pork Chop -- and wow, he was right. The sauce was spot-on, the pork was juicy and perfectly cooked. (Apologies for the blurry photo -- my excitement got the better of my camera skills!) My friend ordered the Trout Almondine and the Roasted Cauliflower and Vegetable Curry with Chicken. The curry wasn't very spicy, but it was full of flavor and absolutely delicious. For dessert, we shared the Crème Brûlée and the Chocolate Torte. We couldn't resist digging in before taking pictures -- both were some of the best desserts I've had in a long time. Big compliments to whoever made them! Everything from the drinks to dessert was excellent. I'll definitely be going back again soon -- maybe even tonight!

This is for the deck menu not restaurant Two Antipasto Sandwiches Good meat ratio to bread Lots of meat nice bread The only issue is that it was real cold like it was made earlier in the morning or made by someone else. Should offer to have it warm so cheese could melt Dr Pepper for some reason it was real sweet and delicious

As the only restaurant around, I was pleasantly impressed with the quality of food and service here. We've been here the past two nights and I had the Duck and Ribeye - both were delicious! The Burger, Chicken wings and Trout Almondine were also good. Finished with a nice scoop of ice cream. Prices were okay, considering they have to bring everything in a long way. Servers Rebecca and Leslie are amazing, and the Manager is very kind, especially when they make a slight mistake. The restaurant is beautiful, not too crowded, and with gorgeous views. I recommend making a reservation. They are on OpenTable. Staying at the Lodge, there are not many options, but I highly recommend this isolated gem.

Dinner menu personal pan pizza - cheese. Exactly like Pizza Hut.

There is now table service in the dining hall again, but plan to dine earlier, or wait a bit for a table as it fills up quickly. You can easily snag a drink at the bar while you wait, but there is limited indoor seating while you wait (this is a smaller lodge). This is not fine dining, but the food was genuinely good, if not complicated/fancy! Our filet was cooked perfectly to medium rare and was a quality cut of meat. The summer salad was huge and had very fresh fruit in it - easily could be a light meal on its own. I liked it so much I ordered it twice. The lunch pizza is better than the evening pizza but both were hot and fresh. We had two wraps with chips - the chicken salad and the hummus wrap - and they were both ok with the hummus being the winner. Cocktails were good too. There is some variety in the demeanor of wait staff, but our service was always timely.

We dinner and the breakfast buffet. Typical breakfast buffet for 24 bucks eggs, sausage, fruit, oatmeal, waffles, juice, regular coffee, cheap pastries etc. Dinner not too much to select from on the menu very limited. Did the steak and a salad with strawberries and blueberries. Order came with pea soup not bad. Steak and salad was a great size to share between 2 people and surprisingly good for being a place In middle of a forest. Just didn't like having to wait in line to order before sitting was strange set up and if you got there at a certain time be a long wait.

Hiker's breakfast, scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon and French toast.

My breakfast was good. Def better than several other national parks. Always seems the food is not the greatest but it was pretty good here. I enjoyed my cup of joe as well. Not too strong nor too weak, just right. Their dining area is nice surrounded by trees and a lot of sunlight enters their windows. The service was good. I placed my order and was waiting in the dining area. One of the cleaning staff came over and advised me he would check on my food. I hadn't been waiting a long time either. Thank you

We stopped by the peaks restaurant in Wuksachi Lodge for lunch while we were at Sequoia National Park. We had to place an order at the counter and get an order number. This took around 15 min since there were several groups ahead of us. They bring your order out to you, but water is self-service. We chose to sit indoors since it was a very hot day. There is plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. We got a great table by the window and could look out into the national park while we ate. We got the baked acorn squash. The other vegetarian options were the soup of the day, 2 salads, a personal pizza where you pick the toppings, and a vegan hummus wrap. The baked acorn squash was delicious! It had a quinoa and goat cheese filling and was very flavorful. The roasted carrots and brocolini it came with were well roasted and had good flavors. You can pick a soup or house green salad with it. We picked the salad, which was ok (didn't like the dressing much). My husband also got the chicken wings, which he said were pretty good. Overall, the food was much better than what we were expecting and it was surprisingly very vegetarian friendly! It is a little pricey though!

I would not recommend to take the veg curry. It is not yellow! It's full of garam masala. Bitter/burning taste.

But there was something we had not considered, we were going to be going to a place that required us to be fresh and ready to receive the wonder of place by a lack and we only had the energy for an angry stop at a gas station. So this place I visited when I was tired and that kind of gunked up the experience. If I would have gone with more energy to fully open my eyes than this experience would have been wondrous. When I booked the reservation I did it because it was a place by a lake. I enjoy water front dining and I usually use an ocean for scenery and today I was in a place where I could use a large creek. And since I was not going with any specific expectations that lake hit me like a bucket of wow. I remember like seeing the mouth of the lake going down like actual rocks. Like I was seeing the waters that people raft on with commitment to the outdoors. It felt like I had traveled into a place where trees were purest, bird melodies were the only noise in town (besides the water running in the creek), and cabins belonged to those who called the mountains home. I was in a novel and for some reason I felt like it was written by Twain. And that is really what I can say about this place. That is mostly what I remember the beauty of the creek. I wanted to spend more time there, I could have walked it, they had like a lounge but I did not. But I do remember the forested view that went on, and the roaring, jagged leg being a central character other than that I have small things to say. I remember the salad being ok. Denise and I shared a dish, I can't remember why but we did not eat the whole thing. It was inherently bad. But this could have been an off night, or just not the dish of the place, and really you go here for the lake, and the food was great in some ways just not in this specific way. I went to this place a few weeks ago, and, if I had not make it clear I remember the experience of being with the lake. So go here for that experience and let the rest just fall into place.

I asked for a well-done burger and after a very long wait they brought an uncooked burger. I asked why it wasn't cooked and they brought a half cooked burger which I returned and finally cancelled my order. The waiter first refused to take responsibility for their mess up so I had to asked for the manager. The manager was impolite and finally with a grumpy and weird attitude took the item off the check. Won't go to this place until they change management.

We ordered a half pepperoni, half ham pizza along with garlic bread. The pizza came out pretty quickly, but our garlic bread never arrived. One thing I appreciated was that they didn't skimp on the pepperoni--there was plenty on every slice. The crust was delicious too. I also got to watch a young lady in the back tossing the pizza dough by hand, which was very cool. The restaurant could have been a little cleaner, but the staff seemed busy.
