Brunch
Joseph J.

We stayed at the hotel and wanted to grab some dinner and glad we did it wasn't busy, we got our seats promptly and order as well we order Brussels sprouts, mussels and flat bread pizza there were all good and even the water there was no bad taste in the water Thas a plus for me but the food was on point wondering if they have another restaurant or just exclusive to this hotel the food was amazingly good stupid good pizza was fresh cheese oowee gooey good the bread and butter to the mussel was good the sliders were on point, we had to come back for brunch the hash brown cake to die for, and they made a special request for me even tho they didn't serve flat bread pizza the made the exception thank you again, the presentation plating matches the taste and the ambiance is nice and fancy the decor and service to the food you would think your at an high end restaurant. Thank you peel you will be the reason why we will come back and stay at Fera. Great job to all staff that put in the work thank you !!! 5 stars

Excellent restaurant, great entertainment and yummy wine. The reason for 4 stars is the limited vegan options. Our waitress was amazing! She was super friendly, accommodating, and helpful. They had live music, excellent! We were at the restaurant but the bar seemed to have lots of patrons having a great time! The decor is very chic, high ceilings, and comfortable seating. We are planning to come back and hopefully they increase their vegan options at some point.

The Peel Stuffed French Toast

Came here for brunch. This place is nestled in the Fera Hotel and has a lovely, upscale vibe. The staff is friendly and efficient. We ordered the peel stuffed french toast and the peel benys. The Peel Stuffed French Toast- They use brioche with orange cheesecake filling, and mandarin slices to top. The bread is so soft and fluffy and the filling is light with just the right amount of sweetness and pleasant citrus flavor. So good! The Peel Benys- The base is an english muffin topped with habañero glazed pork belly, poached eggs, and orange infused hollandaise sauce, Served with a side of breakfast potatoes. The muffin is soft and the pork belly has a delightful crunch outside with a tender interior. The hollandaise sauce is tasty and ties the flavors together. The potatoes are crisp and hearty. Great experience overall!

Inside the Hotel Fera Anaheim. Nice seating area with plenty of open seating and areas to have perusal conversations. Service really isn't the greatest. We only saw the waiter when we placed our order and received our check. Wanted to get additional syrup but even the other waiters walked by so fast we couldn't get anyone's attention. The food itself was good. Pretty much the only reason for a 3 star rating.

Very cute place and food was super tasty. The server was friendly and suggested amazing drinks and items off the menu!

Their version of a French 75 - great cocktail!

It felt like your typical "hotel restaurant"... just had that vibe. But with that being said, our server was great, food was delicious, and we had some great cocktails. Might not be the vibe you're looking for, for the perfect date night out (lots of business dinners going on, etc) but definitely a great little night out still, some great cocktail options, and we'll be back. Docking a star just for the overall vibe and there were a couple things we wanted from the menu that weren't available.

The Peel is located inside the Hotel Fera. The space is on the main level in the back, and is very open and well lit. There seems to be a cool outdoor area with seating, fire pits, and even a water feature! BAR: The first thing you see is the big beautiful bar. It's a large square shape with seating on three of the four sides. There are TV's on each side, a nice display of bottles behind the bar, and another display of bottles above your head for decoration. DRINKS: They have a dozen specialty cocktails featuring your standard spirits. The presentation on some of these is fun, and there were a handful that I wish I could have tried. You can also order custom cocktails as they have a full bar. There are ~10 options for both red and white wines. They serve 6oz, 9oz, and full bottles. A few of the options are only available as full bottles. There are also a couple sparkling options available in 6oz and full bottles. While I didn't see a beer menu, I noticed around 10 tap handles at the bar. The cocktails we tried: - Como La Flor (Teremana Resposado, Grapefruit, Lime, Lavender-Infused Simple Syrup, Grapefruit Soda, Butterfly Pea Flower Tea - $16.50) - This was really refreshing and wasn't overly tart or bitter. It's a beautiful purple color and served with a slice of grapefruit in the glass. - So Cal Sling (St. George Gin, Luxardo Bianco, St. Germain, Pineapple, Fresh Lime, Bitters, Club Soda - $16) - I was going between this and the Gene Autry, and our server recommended this one. The spirit flavor was there, but not overpowering. Another refreshing cocktail served in a highball style glass with a dried pineapple garnish. - The Fera (Ketel One, Basil, Cucumber, Mint, Fresh Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup - $16) - This was the replacement drink for one that was sent back. The display on this one is fun with some cucumber slivers on a skewer. She said it was crisp and delicious, and really enjoyed it. FOOD: We came with a small group of 3 and decided to order some dishes to share amongst us. We got: - Mediterranean Charcuterie Board (Spanish chorizo, prosciutto, capicola, salami, manchego cheese, point reyes cheese, brie cheese, pickled vegetables, olives, grain mustard, crispy baguette - $22) - This thing is loaded. Great value for the price, they definitely don't skimp on the meat. I do wish there was more cheese, but the ones they included were very tasty. We ended up taking a lot of this one home and enjoyed it on the couch a few days later! - Peel Fish Tacos (Mahi Mahi, sour orange adobo, corn tortilla, citrus, coleslaw, fire roasted tomato salsa, guacamole, lime, chipotle aioli, cilantro - $18) - These were solid. They come with 3 per order, which was perfect for our group size. The fish is grilled, not fried, and has great flavor! - Crispy Brussel Sprouts (Balsamic, honey syrup, crispy onions, roasted shishito peppers - $13) - There was a lot going on here, but it worked! I liked the crispy onions on top, and don't think I've ever had brussels with shishito peppers. - Tempura Cauliflower (Sweet chili BBQ sauce, sesame seeds, scallions - $15) - This might have been the favorite dish of everything we ordered. One of our guests is Gluten Free, so she wasn't able to try this one... too bad! We ordered an extra side of the sauce, which was REALLY good. Would for sure order this one again! - California Hummus (Sundried tomato, cucumbers, niçoise olives, Temecula olive oil - $12) - I only had a few bites of this, but it was tasty. I don't love olives, and it has little pieces of olive spread out on top, which I didn't love. It comes with cute little soft pita pieces, though we added a side of tortilla chips ($4) to accommodate our GF friend. PARKING: There is a self-parking lot that is part of the hotel. You grab a ticket on the way in, and are supposed to get it validated before you leave. OVERALL: We came with a small group to celebrate a friend's birthday, and had a lovely time. It was a Wednesday evening, and not busy at all-a few people at the bar and a few tables in the dining room. Our server, Bryan, was friendly and made recommendations on favorite / popular dishes. One of the people in our party didn't love the first cocktail she ordered, and he happily replaced it without issue. I would definitely recommend checking out The Peel for some great cocktails and delicious food! IG: @bbnem.eats

Love the ambience of this place! Came here for a dinner and was pleasantly surprised there was live music. Unfortunately, the waitress helping us missed the orders of a couple members of our group and seemed rather annoyed with the party the entire time we were there. The food was delicious- definitely recommend the fish tacos and beef check ragu. Parking is either valet or in the parking structure around the corner. Would only come back if actually staying in the hotel.

Love their decor and furniture pieces

GORGEOUS RESTAURANT!!! I cannot believe how lovely this restaurant is! The beautiful high ceiling, long drapes, vintage creamy color interior decor etc everything is photo perfect. It's a shame that not a lot of people know about it as it's inside a hotel. The food is delicious too! We went on a Saturday at 1pm and just missed their breakfast (ends at 12!) but their lunch items were tasty too. Smash burger with bacon jam was yummy and HUGE it hurt my mouth to open that wide lol. Their fries were crispy but a bit too much seasoning powder. Beet & Burrata salad was delicious with tons of candied walnuts. Poke bowl was generous with tuna and all the toppings. We will definitely come back again to try out their brunch breakfast menu! The service here was top notch! They even surprised us with a free tin of cookies and dessert as we were here celebrating a bridal shower! Thank you!

While staying at the Fera hotel during my visit to Anaheim, I checked out the Peel a few times. It's the downstairs bar & restaurant in the hotel. Cute esthetic. Large bar area and nice table seating area. I sat at the bar whenever I went. Each time, Robert was my bartender. He was very soft spoken, nice, and gave good service. They have good wine selection, and a full bar. Robert made one of the best Palomas I've had in a while. Their Korean wing appetizer was delicious, and had a little kick to it. Mt friend had their mussels and she devoured them. Ordered their Spanish Chorizo Flatbread minus tomatoes, and it had great flavors. Just enough crust, and not too salty.

Came here during happy hour and the beer and cocktails were $7 with wells. They also have some appetizers on happy hour too. The bartenders were really nice and personable, making the cocktail very beautiful with added flowers. The bar is inside the the hotel with parking right outside of the hotel. It's 2hr validation from the front desk, you could ask for their complimentary double tree cookies too!

The Peel is a gorgeous restaurant within Hotel Fera. Their ambiance is definitely a huge plus, although I did feel like it was super cold inside the restaurant. They have a lot of seating inside and also have an amazing outside area with plenty of seating there as well. The food is was good but the drinks were better. Out of the food, I was surprised that the crispy chcharrón is what I liked best. It was flavorful, crunchy, and I loved the guac that came with it! The chile relleno spring rolls were ok. I didn't think they tasted like chile relleno, but more so like jalapeño poppers. Their drinks were very good. The Fera was my favorite. It had a refreshing cucumber, lemon, and mint flavor. The Como La Flor was also yummy with grapefruit and lime. Although their drinks are on the pricier side, they are beautifully presented. Their breakfast buffet was excellent. They had a lot of different breakfast options such as eggs, fruit, pastries, juice, and coffee. Their service was 10/10. Very attentive and helpful staff.

This place is a hidden gem! I never noticed it because it is located in the lobby of the hotel! There is ample seating, natural sunlight, and really cute cabana style booths that are divided by chic curtains really cute! Stopped by for lunch, and it was delicious. I'm picky with salmon, and the chef got this one right! Crispy skin, tender, juicy, and great portion size. I was thrown off by the romaine lettuce because it was a "stalk" that I had to cut apart. Tasted great but extra effort was required lol just fyi. I'm not a Gin person BUT the drinks were perfectly balanced, not too sweet but lots of flavor and definitely was not watered down the service was excellent and Maria the server was so nice!

It seems like this spot is super popular for brunch drinks. Had the birria taco and this one was probably my favorite of the dishes tha we ordered. There is a crispy shell, two different sauces, and condiments to add with it. There is a lot of different textures and the meat was juicy. The smoked salmon flatbread wasn't as good, it looks very colorful and pretty, but I didnt think the flavors went together very well. I like the smokiness but the salmon wasn't umami enough to justify mixing in caviar and avocado and arugula that would normally pair well with beef. Finally, had the chicken tinga skillet, which had flavor in the sauce, but the chicken itself was just ok.

The restaurant was dark and stylish, and I immediately liked the vibe. Even though it was crowded for a Thursday night, we were seated within 15 minutes. We each picked a shareable dish to split. Predictably, my daughter chose the mac and cheese. I rolled my eyes -- it's so her -- but it turned out to be the best of the four. Maybe it was the velvety cheese sauce or the golden cracker crust that made it so irresistible, but that mac and cheese was, as she'd say, absolutely bussin'. The next standout was the maple-buttered Brussels sprouts, my man's pick. If all vegetables tasted this good, I'd eat them every day. Candied pecans, maple butter, blue cheese -- how could that not be amazing? Was it healthy? Sus, but definitely worth it. I picked the pig candy for the group, which was outrageously sweet and candy-like. Clearly, this wasn't healthy -- bacon, sugar, and rye whiskey caramel make a trifecta of indulgence. But it was so delicious, I couldn't complain. The sliders were the last shareable we tried. They were fine but didn't stand out -- the meat was a bit dry. I also ordered a cocktail (something pretty and fruity, though I can't remember the name). The bartender nailed it, delivering a delicious drink. My man enjoyed his Negroni. The service was great, and I loved the grassy area with fire pits for hanging out. Excellent place for our first night out in Irvine!

Long story short, she was super gracious and told the cooks that we would get there a little after two and they would make us something from the lunch menu. Isa was our waitress, and she was phenomenal! Great sense of humor, very transparent about the different menu items. I got a copal and it was fantastic! Smoky and spicy, but not too spicy. We started our late lunch with Caesar salad, Sopa Limon, Seabreem fish dish. We also got the cubano. We were so stuffed by the end of it, but everything was phenomenal. The Caesar salad was a great way to start the meal, but after a couple of bites of it once we had the other dishes, it didn't stand out as much. We probably would've ordered the same thing all over again, with the exception of the Caesar salad (although it was still good!) Sopa Limon had a very unique bone broth flavor. It was a little sweet.
